Need Help – Roommate Cheated on My Account While Using My PC
Hey everyone,
I really need some help or advice. I’m in college and hadn’t been using my PC much lately, so I let my roommate use it. My PC is way more powerful than his, and apparently, he thought it would be “funny” to cheat on my account instead of his because my setup runs Apex better.
When my account was banned, I truly thought it was a false ban. I appealed right away, thinking there had been some kind of mistake. Later on, my roommate finally came clean and admitted he was the one who cheated on my account. I was furious and completely blindsided.
After finding this out, I spoke with an EA rep and explained everything. She told me to close my original case and submit a new one with the new information I’d learned. I told her the warning said if I closed it, the case would be gone forever, but she said she spoke with a superior and assured me that wouldn’t happen. Well, guess what — now I can’t reopen it or submit a new appeal at all. The option is completely gone, and I have no way to reach anyone to review my situation.
I’ve been playing Apex since the beginning and would never cheat or do anything to risk my account. I take full responsibility for letting someone else use my PC, and I’ve definitely learned my lesson. I just want a fair chance to have my case looked at again.
I’ve kept the entire chat transcript from my conversation with EA Help showing what I was told. If anyone from EA or the community knows how I can get this reviewed or connect with the right team, please let me know. I really love this game and hate that this happened.
Thanks for reading,
FlavaDave22 Sorry to hear what had happened, but as you may had guessed, bans cannot be handled here on the forums, (which you did the right thing by contacting the EA TOS Team first).

It is recommended to not share devices, but if you have to, (such as a family console), you should either be logged out of your accounts or have a password set up to block unauthorized access to prevent this sort of thing from happening.
In the end, you are the one responsible for your account, so there is a chance that the ban won't be overturned since you had allowed someone else to use your PC.

As to this part, I'm not sure what went wrong there.
