Can you also try creating a new Windows admin account and try the game there to see if you continue to have the same issue?

Since the update yesterday I had the same issues. 

I've tried all of your suggested ideas @DerOfenvorheizer.
Sadly none helped, windows and steam found no corrupted files.

Tried with a different admin account and not a solution either. 

I did a rollback on my drivers and reinstalled the game (steam) but neither helped me. 

Great to hear that you got it sorted @DerOfenvorheizer, seems like it was an issue with a file, driver or other and the SFC fixed it.

Stop asking people to do stuff, no need for dxdiag or flushdns

 THE PROBLEM IS ON EA END NOT OURS

Stop fooling them to believe they need to "fix" it on their machine. 

It's 100% ea servers related problem 

Yesterday at one point it was fine, now again it's stuck on black screen, ON THE EXCET SAME TIME. 

fix the server issues or fix the patch, there is nothing we can do to make the game connect.

Yesterday there were more then 1,000 reports on server status pages, about connection issues, and still you asking people to do stuff , ignoring your end completely. 

even now there are reported issues all over.

No one had zero problems before the update... and all of a sudden averything broke, and WE need to do stuff and send DxDiag...

Cant you admit you introduced some bugs (seems to be an habit tho) and say you are working on it?

This is a server issue not a people or hardware issue

Hey @JoSlatermill when posting on AHQ please do so in a polite and constructive manner and do not abuse formatting.

In this thread alone, the OPs issue was fixed through basic troubleshooting as a result of issues that appeared in the DxDiag.

If you are not interested in assistance in fixing the issue that is fine but others are looking for help.

I've just skipped the dxdiag and ran dism and sfc and it's not fixed the issue.

It seems intermittent too.

Hey @EA_Darko i tried to use the SFC, but it says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them." what do i do?

I am also experiencing same issue and I use steam.

I have to wait 7 mins for the error msg to pop after the infinite loading phase to be able to connect

Im also stuck at black loading screen and cant enter the lobby. I tried the sfc thing and flushing dns but its no good. 

None of the fixes suggested ITT have resolved the issue for me. So while I agree that users shouldn't lash out, I think we're allowed to be angry over the fact that the game we've spent hundreds of dollars over suddenly no longer works.

@JoSlatermillI Agree with you. Please EA Stop asking people to do this or that, and do you JOB, fix your BUG that would be awesome. And I don't see where that was not polite. All I see is people getting angry et frustrating (as me) and trying to stay calm and polite.

@EA_Darko Hi, I did just now and i tried to launch the game. And it seems like i am still stuck in the loading screen, i waited around 30 mins (my device was so hot at that point). Is there any other way to fix this? Or is this up to the Apex team to fix this?
