Hi there!
If your Play Station account & Xbox account have different EA accounts (ie. they weren't connected to the 1 main EA account) then merging the progress of those will not be possible.
Unlinking accounts will cause the loss of progression as data is stored on the EA account, not the platform.
So if you were hoping to merge them then sadly it's not a possibility.
Also if you have any more questions regarding cross progression it seems that there is a new whole dedicated place for that so ask questions around there!

No I don’t want to merge I just want my PlayStation account on my Xbox I have no cosmetic on Xbox so if I link my Xbox account to my PlayStation E.A ID can I just have that account as my main on my Xbox
Yes so once I get the prompt should I login in to me PlayStation ea account on safari and link my Xbox account to it and then on my Xbox my PlayStation account will be my main. Thank you so much for your help so far
Yes I'll attach a picture of how it should look if you want to use X account progress on other platforms. The accounts in question are different (PC/PS opposed to PS/Xbox but it should work the same)
Also you should link the xbox account now as I think it wont be possible IF you get the prompt before linking it.
Ok thanks iv unlinked my Xbox account from this ID and Iv linked it to my EA account that has my psn connected to it, I’m just experiencing a glitch that I can’t choose a legend or weapons and my crafting metals are going back and forth with a white line over it but my stats and level are still there and I’m also seeing my ps5 friends that are online playing apex show up in my friends list so I’m assuming the accounts are linked hopefully once I receive the cross play prompt it fix’s it .
Yes, they should be linked. But you still need to wait for the "cross progression" prompt. It's a very delicate thing.
From what, i've heard the currency bug it seems to be an issue when you do the unlink & relink things but I never experienced it myself as my apex PC account is "new"

If anything goes wrong, or the bug doesn't go away try to always contact EA support, they might be able to assist you better than I will. But they'll say most likely that you should revert the unlink process and just start anew so the currency bug doesn't happen.
