Someone hacked and cheated on my apex legends account

Someone hacked and cheated on my Apex Legends account. I already filed a ticket and been waiting since 19.01.2020 for an answer. I already contacted a few days ago the support still no answer. The hacker apparently added 2 friends on my account. I blocked and reported them. You can see in the attached files that it says "LeutnantRC placed first in *some chinese letters*". I hope someone here can help me out and tell me if I'm gonna get unbanned. I have over 200 hours of playtime and I invested real money in it. Would be a shame if this wouldn't get solved.

Sending multiple cases is not going to get your account unbanned any faster. If anyone would like an update on their dispute, they can open a new case or contact our help through Twitter (@EAHelp) or Facebook (facebook.com/eahelphub). Resuming your existing case that is awaiting investigation will pull it from the queue and delay the investigation from happening.

  • Same thing happened to me last week. Someone used all my currency, played a few games (also cheating, since I received an email from EA saying I was banned for cheating), and added a few people to my friendslist.

I think you gotta push EA to unban you. Create multiple tickets, phone calls etc. Otherwise you'll probably gonna haft to wait a long time like alot of people do.

I was really excited about Season 8, and then this happens...

@YaBoyMirage Yeah.. already opened one 2 days ago and now with this .. I hope you'll get unbanned too. Have you made some screenshots to prove your innocence? I hope that helps
  • I don't have any screenshots that would prove anything, really. I downloaded EA data to see if I could track any recent logins, but I didn't find anything.

I'm sure they can see that my account was hacked. It just depends if the person reviewing my account wants to see it. That's why I think you gotta make multiple cases.

  • is it just a superduper coincidence that none of you that got "hacked and banned" never use 2 step verification ?

its 2021 who in their right mind has ANYTHING without 2-step ?

@MemeLordDeluxe Yeah. As soon as Apex switched to Steam I didn't really use Origin. So i kinda forgot about it until one day I got the notification that I got banned..

Don't this please, this will only get you locked out.
Don't give bad advice please and let the Terms of service do their job, they investigate every case in-depth but that takes time.
You guys are not the only one sending ban appeals so it takes a while to investigate every case.

You will get a reply even after just one appeal, creating multiple requests /spamming will not speed up the process.

Also, the reply can get routed to your spam/promotions folder, so make sure to check those once in a while. 🙂

@Zeelmaekers I don't want to wait for an answer for two months that I can get in two minutes through a phone call. It's been reported by several who waited a very long time that they got a much faster fix to their ban by making several cases and calling EA. May not be the nicest way to handle things, but what do you get for being nice, anyway?
