Season 3 does nothing for Casual Players

Two full seasons have gone by and casual players have essentially been abandoned. The idea of a Casual Conquest mode was floated out there a while ago but nothing has been mentioned since. What happened to that?

No new casual playlists. No meaningful playlist updates. No experimentation with fun rotating modes. Nothing.

This is honestly one of the biggest frustrations with Battlefield 6 right now because it sends a very clear message: the casual side of the community is not a priority.

Not everyone wants to sweat in hyper-competitive matches 24/7. A huge part of what made Battlefield special over the years was hopping into fun, chaotic, lower-pressure playlists with friends and just enjoying the sandbox. That variety is what kept people playing for hundreds of hours.

Right now the playlist experience feels stale, repetitive, and neglected. Two seasons is MORE than enough time to add new casual experiences, rotate classic modes, test community favorites, or at the very least communicate what the plan is.

Silence is what makes this so frustrating.

The community keeps bringing this up because people CARE about the game and want it to succeed. But when feedback about casual playlists gets ignored season after season, it starts feeling like the dev team either doesn’t see the issue or simply doesn’t care.

Please stop treating casual content like an afterthought. Battlefield needs fun, social, replayable playlists just as much as it needs ranked balance and competitive tuning.

Right now, one entire side of the playerbase feels forgotten.

There is nothing competitive about Conquest or Escalation with players, just jump in and play, most players are genuinely really bad that you might find you were worrying too much.

I disagree honestly. It’s not just about “being competitive” in the traditional sense. A lot of people play casual playlists because the overall experience feels more relaxed and less stressful.

Right now cheaters are a huge problem, especially in standard matchmaking. Casual modes with a mix of bots and players naturally avoid a lot of that because most cheaters are looking to stomp full PvP lobbies, not farm bots. That alone makes the experience way more enjoyable for a lot of players.

On top of that, mixed bot/player playlists create a completely different atmosphere. You can experiment with weapons, play with friends casually, mess around with vehicles, or simply enjoy Battlefield’s sandbox without feeling like every match is a sweat fest full of meta loadouts and people treating public matches like esports qualifiers.

Not everyone plays Battlefield to constantly prove themselves. Some people just want to unwind after work and enjoy the chaos that made this franchise great in the first place.

That’s why the lack of attention to casual playlists is frustrating. They serve a completely different part of the community, and that part of the playerbase deserves support too.

Cheating is greatly over exaggerated by players who can't stand there's people better than them.

As for experimentation? Just... experiment? What's stopping you from doing it in a normal lobby, KDA ego? I'm currently leveling every gun in the game to 50, and the only three I would call unviable are the DB12, LMR27 and GRT-CPS.
