EA APP WONT UPDATE ; Background Services Crashed on MAC

How am I supposed to play The Sims 4?!!! EA is trash!!!! Fix your app or let us play The Sims 4 without your  assistance ! EA app does not work half the time. I tried going into every file to launch this game. Deleted everything and reinstalled. Nothing works ! Fix the update and app.
