Perma-banned, and no reason or information was provided.

So I got a permanent ban on all FC games due to "rules violation". I have appealed 3 times and all were denied, the last one without a possibility to re-appeal. They do not specify what I did wrong or what triggered such action against my account. 

I'm sure the TOS team hasn't checked my account at all, and their automated system of detection is absolutely broken. The only communication I received was e-mails with the same generic response saying that they investigated and will not reverse the decision.

I'm a legit player who, over the past year, has encountered hundreds of cheaters and filed hundreds of reports, always getting the same e-mail from EA: "We investigated and found nothing wrong, no actions were taken. But keep reporting". EVERY single weekend league I encounter 2-3 hackers, always at the same 8-0 or 9-0 ratio of wins/losses. And now I'm being treated like one, and it's really infuriating.

At this point, I'm actually relieved not to be able to keep playing this game. Your customer service sucks, and I recommend to any person who happens to read this to not give your money to a company that, after 20 years of being a regular customer, deletes your account and provides no reasons for it.

  • Looks like there is an older (but recently active) thread on the forum with others sharing similar issues. You might want to take a look and comment. The bigger the thread and the more voices joining it the more likely.

    I'm sure people are working in the TOS department, but they don't do their job, or are directly incompetent. My 15-year account was deleted due to "rules violation". Well, what rule? how?, when?. I did not engage in any behavior that could have led to a PERMANENT ban or any kind of ban for that matter. I'm all in on banning cheaters, hackers, and coin sellers. I'm not either, and there is no way to prove my case because they don't have a line or space where we loyal players from decades can communicate with them. This is kinda my last resort, and I'm not expecting someone from EA to come here to solve my issue, but I find some relief if I can inform you guys, customers too, that they can just evaporate your account without a cause or explanation why, and this has been happening for months now

    I’m really sorry. Don’t know what else to say except that I’m infuriated reading your posts and I can’t imagine how much angrier I’d be if I was experiencing it like you are. Our legal system is based on some basic principles of due process and knowing what you’re accused of and being able to see the evidence being brought against you are basic rights that they ought to be honoring. The fact that EA does not see fit to afford you either of these is just wrong.

    Every time I think my opinion of EA can’t slip any lower I read a post like yours and think “of course it can!” These guys seem to be intent on joining Comcast in the dungeons of all-time worst customer service. I read so many posts in here that don’t receive any acknowledgment from EA and I’m shocked at how little they seem to care. Basic stuff and their moderators/managers don’t do or say anything useful. Yours is perhaps the worst in terms of deserving immediate attention, but I can’t say I’m surprised at their inaction. Honestly, at this point what would surprise me most is for someone from EA to “appear” in here (the forum THEY created) and actually help customers. Needless to say, they won’t be getting anymore of my money until/unless I see big changes because what they are willing to do to you (one of us) they are capable of doing to ALL of us.   • The ban might be automated. Ea does ban waves all the time. The tos team is not automated. A real person reviews your case. Otherwise people would not get unbanned. 

    What you did or didn’t do I have no idea. Only you and ea would know and why the tos team handles it.

    I'm certain, without a doubt, that I didn't engage in any activity that could lead to a ban. There were no coin purchases on third-party websites, no use of any external software, and no abuse of glitches, etc. So yes, I'm sure the ban was automated, as well as the generic copy-paste ChatGPT responses I got via e-mail. If you check this same forum, you will be able to find a lot of people having the same issue. We were legit players, we got banned just because, and the TOS department does not give any explanation since you can not reach them, only via mail, and they even tell you not to respond to it since they do not check it. Do not take my word for it, I attached the last mail I got from them on my first post

  • It’s not automated. Only the tos team can overturn a ban.  If they already looked into it the max amount of times eventually the ban will either stay or be overturned. After that not much you can do. 

  • Before any moderator or community manager from EA comes here saying that they do not solve a ban over here and only the TOS team does, let me tell you that your TOS team is garbage and does not do their job, no solution, no response, no direct communication after weeks of trying to get someone to talk to me about it.
