Marketplace might not be doing good.

So EA thought the marketplace would do good? Hum no backlash to the creators however not all creators are good creators especially some who frankenmesh, why would we pay for face stickers and light switches?

Here's a thought give us what simmers have been asking for!!!???

Not The Marketplace, Not Project X!!!

Since you all want to update

Give us an Update with

Cars

Preteen Lifestage

Strollers for infants and toddlers

Pacifiers for newborn-toddlers

Spiral Stairs

Getting into a band/ more band instruments

Better Pet Beds and Dog houses

More wedding jewelry set

Sick Sims going to the hospital

Have an actual hair dresser/salon.

You want to keep simmers engage with the game

Give them what they've been asking for y'all do this constantly throughout the franchise especially sims 4 y'all do or give US stuff that we don't want nor ask for then y'all looking at US like y'all surprised we've been telling what we want!!!

Market place is a grand example of we didnt want it so we're not engaging and the same might happen to project x if all dlc that simmers paid for over the past decade isn't in project x then y'all lied saying y'all didn't want simmers to feel that they are starting over that pretty much starting over!!!

  • I was never big on creator content or cc, so marketplace just does not appeal to me.

I am also baffled at the ignored top wanted/asked for things for the past years/decade. I came to the Sims 4 around L&D (but a long time Sims player generally) and TBH, and though I love a lot of the occult packs there is still soo much missing just for occult playstyle games.

Spiral stairs, omg, how do we have ladders but not spiral staircases? So annoying. Curved walls but no curved stairs to align with it. We only just got the ability to remove one side of the railings (thank goodness that was annoying wall clipping).

Even EA made kits seem on the light side. You cannot do a full dressed theme with any kit, you might get lucky with 2-3 outfits (but not for both male and female sims). If you are trying to do era or themed anything there are so many holes/blanks/missing.

BB era/fantasy/destination (cultural/location) themed again missing so many things, you might be able to cobble together, such as RoM and EbN but they aren't the best match. RoM and L&D are so-so but so many swatches do not match!  Even if they just did matching swatches across all BB items we'd at least have wiggle room to cobble together similar themes, but as it stands it is tricky to do anything non-modern or anything alternate themed from "basic".

Though I do not care for cars, more life stages or young family items, I know others have been asking, and even for the sake of story telling they could definitely be improved upon. But for those who basically play only for the babies/children gameplay, I mean they would need some more gameplay. Just as occult players need more gameplay updates too.

Life stages and life states, really are important to players (either one or the other, and some both). But they do seem to get over looked in each EP that isn't first introducing them.

CAS, jewelry/accessories really needs both layering and mirrored versions, not to mention just more! Honestly, if you didn't have Crystal Creations I'd give the game a C- grade for jewelry. But we could use another CCSP update or pack to go with it.

TLDR: But what ultimately grinds my gears, is the lack of transparency from devs/reps of what we ask for for/top wants and returns of previous items/features/gameplay from previous installments. Why haven't we been told "________ is still being considered but only if we can pair with an applicable EP". Or "________ is a animation/coding heavyweight that we cannot implement without more issues than we already have in game". Transparency really helps/goes a long way with an old loyal fanbase. No dev/rep ever responds to the feedback forums, so how do we really know we are being heard? Yes, you cannot please everyone, but silence and ignoring without word—is really unhelpful too.

  • Exactly, the fact that they're giving more effort on already existing and low quality things instead of things the community have been asking for 2 or more years (some 10 years ago) is really disrespectful.

Also i think that the boycott from creators have to do with it. I say this at least based on CAS content (which are the ones i'm more interested in) because the inovative things for CAS are usually made by LGBT community and its allies, so now that our safe place is being selled to a anti LGBT organization makes it really hard for the amazing creators to engage the game at this stage.
