New Gameplay Add-On: Pantry Shelves

So I'm continuing this discussion from Redrogue60​'s post regarding Grocery & Garden Stuff Or Game Pack because I was super inspired by the mention of pantry shelves in said post mostly because I had a similar idea after seeing this cc kit on Mundo Sims called Pantry Party.

If pantry shelves were functional in keeping items like sugar, flour, canned goods, etc. it would count towards the ingredients needed for meals with the Simple Living Lot Challenge. You can hover your cursor over the items and see how many you have left in stock instead of having to open your inventory and scroll all the way down until you come across the item, or having to open the fridge to see which ingredients are available. 

Fruit and veggie baskets can also be an item where you can keep such ingredients. The kit also includes a chest freezer where items like prepped meat, veggies, seafood, dough and batter can be kept. 

If the developers aren't interested in releasing a kit like this, I think at the very least when you hover your cursor over the fridge, it should display what you have in stock, much like the crystal tree from Crystal Creations (it shows which crystals are available for harvest).
