i just updated the game cuz i have not played in almost a month, and only updated 3 mods, before when i played it NEVER did this to me, now it wont let me play a household, i click play on my household and it boots me to the world select screen, i even tried to make a new game and it still does it.Even does it without mods, and i even tried to repair the game, on the sims 4 discord i see a lot of people having the same issue, and they even tried reinstalling the game and NOTHING has worked. what is going on? is there more people having this issue?

Hi LydiaLunamore What did you try yet ? Did you try renaming your user folder ? If not, please do so: - Close the game- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old- Repair the game- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. - Start a new save game- Check if you still have the error- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

I moved this to gameplay. We had a new patch and still no one has provided a save game where this is actually an issue on a vanilla problem outside of what is already known. If you need help with this, please provide the info ask. Posts without info will be moved to mods.

When loading up sims i have gone to go onto a game, picked a family and this takes me to the worlds page.. i have then clicked on the family as usual in which id like to play and after a while of it loading it keeps taking me back to the world page. I have since deleted all the families i have to see if this helps the issue, however it hasnt. I am unable to get into any family or play the game as it just gets stuck on the maps page.

Hi! Mine doesn't launch at the minute but I use something called "Sims 4 Mod Manager" downloaded from the internet to do a search on my mods/cc to see which requires and update. I also have another app called "PlumbBuddy" which again, scans my games for broken mods.

My game keeps kicking me back to the world menu when I try to load in a household. I haven’t played since the update before the one that just happened on 9/18 for this reason. I have no idea what else to do, I have researched any and every step to take to fix this issue and nothing is working.

I'm having the same issue i keep getting the world selection after i updated my game & got rid of the bad mods i have a test save with a family that i'm trying to use for this problem but it keeps happening this has never happened to me before🤬

Ever since the new update came every time I try to load into already created households, it sends me back to the world selection screen. And if it’s not sending me back to the world selection screen, it just doesn’t load it stays on the spinning plum for like up to hours on end. I just wanna play my game. :( I removed all mods and cc to see if it was a broken mod issue or the game itself and unfortunately it’s still not working.
