Lost all of my extensions and add-ons when I switched from Origin to the EA app
I got the notification to switch to the EA app after logging onto Origin for the first time in a long while to play the Sims 4, so I did. However, now all I have access to is the base game. All my extensions and add-ons I bought are completely gone. They don't show up in Manage Add-ons, and if I go to the store to try to redownload them, it wants me to pay for them all over again.
I cleared the cache through app recovery in the help drop bar, I've "repaired" the game, I've restarted both the game and the app several times. I keep looking through the app to try and find some magic download button or something, but I can't find anything that will help me. I don't know what to do.
I tried to contact EA support directly, but to be honest, I have no idea how without going to social media about it. I just keep getting sent to troubleshooting articles that don't help at all, or a "how to contact ea support" page that also doesn't help at all. 😕
I spend SO much money over the course of many years since the game came out. I doubt I'll be able to prove most if any of my purchases now.
I'm sure this must be an easy fix, there has to be something I just don't know about. If anyone knows how I can get all my purchases back to me, or how to directly email EA support, I'd be really grateful.
