Linking DLC Packs to Steam Deck?
I am a current Mac user and I have several packs downloaded for the Sims 4. The problem is, it takes up so much space on my computer and I feel like my computer is overheating every time I play the game (plus, I am a big fan of modding). I have been looking into getting a Steam Deck instead for PC gaming since I love the portability of it. If I download the base game for Steam onto the Steam Deck, can I still use all of the packs I have already purchased on my Steam Deck without having to purchase them again?
lollyg17 Yes, if you link your Steam and EA accounts, which you would have needed to do when you installed or launched the game on your Steam Deck, your EA-owned packs should be available in the EA App game library. The App should be installed already; just open it and click Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons. If you can't open it on your own, it should be open while you have an EA game running.
If you'd like help getting Sims 4 to run better on your Mac, feel free to ask for help in the Mac tech forum. Please list your specs: everything under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.
