Make Apex fun again instead of obnoxious
Why are we Nerfing fun legends like ash an sparrow and buffing obnoxious characters like caustic and seer this makes no sense you wanna talk about overpowered nerf ash dash but give seer double jump and the ability to freeze himself in the air and wall hacks that goes 70 meters and a tactical that can go just as far that gives him a speed, boost and cancels the person‘s abilities that doesn’t even include his upgrades like you can’t be serious no pun intended then there’s caustic who can unlock all four perks gas damage that starts at 10 and goes up every two ticks an the gas covers, so much area. You pretty much can’t go in a building if a caustic plays it right an ultimate that comes back every two minutes when it takes ashes three not to mention this doesn’t apply to mouse and keyboard players, but gets rid of aim assist which is really fine but this is ridiculous. You Nerf, the fun, legends and buff the ones no one really wants to play because they’re obnoxious turning them into raid bosses like make Apex fun again. These are terrible changes. Caustic can have all four perks but Ash can’t have two ults bro. Gas starts at 10 and can tick up every two ticks. But tethered damage and duration was the problem. Y’all must be smoking, meth or something. Not to mention seer gets more of a speed boost than Maggie does from her ult. Like y’all’s balancing has to be the worst in gaming history. Because a fun character is getting played on every team you decide to Nerf her you would think this is a good thing. How about instead of nerfing characters with high pick rates into the ground you make the other characters equally as fun instead of just buffing them out out of this world there’s so many fun mechanics you could add them instead of making them obnoxious please make Apex fun again pick rate is not a bad thing. What will make apex legends better? Wall running and solo ranked. we as the apex community will love wall running, everyone loves wall running, for some reason when you add wall running everyone eyes get locked in on the game plus gameplay runs better. I can say I played apex since season 2, put your egos aside and add wall running or at least add it as game mode but DO NOT MAKE A LEGEND WITH THAT ABILITY, that will take the purpose out of it. I guaranteed you guys will bring more of the apex community back, besides Black ops 7 is coming out soon with battle royal, theres a chance you can benefit from that. You guys have a chance to add some key favorites thats gonna get apex back on top of the gaming community. You know everyone wants Titain fall 3, yall just gonna add wall running and boom you got the gaming community on lock. Then Solo royal is self explanatory. In all of the matches today there are 5-6 squads left before the 1st ring has closed. Small ring size does not help the situation as intended, it just makes the lobby even more sweaty. No time to loot if one wants to participate in the match. No use trying to hot drop, since not every match the majority decides to hot drop straight away or at the busiest spot of the map. So it is a guessing game if you happen to decide dropping at the hot spot or not. Decide too late? Right after I started the game, I encountered a lot of Pathfinders who used their ult right from the start and who were clearly using wallhacks. Isn't there a lot of cheating today? Are other players noticing this? They're quitting and abandoning matches immediately. Hello devs and fellow gamers. I would like to address the issue that I noticed during first 3 ranked ladders. I've seen a lot of people complaining that that their rosters consisted of lower rank players. That was the same experience for me. Despite achieving Tier 1 in all 3 ranked ladders, last one was extremely frustrating. Since ranked ladder counts your best 10 matches, the issue arise that the cost of entry between different ranks are drastic. Costs taken from official material: https://help.ea.com/en/help/apex-legends/apex-legends/apex-legends-ranked-mode/ In general, higher ranked players will have a net loss against players from lower ranks: Rookie/Bronze: 0 RP x 10 = 0 Silver: 20 RP x 10 = -200 Gold: 35 RP x 10 = -350 Platinum: 45 RP x 10 = -450 Diamond: 65 RP x 10 = -650 Master/Predator: 90 RP x 10 = -900 My ranked ladder journey looked like this: *All other players nicknames erased for anonymity. 1 Ranked Ladder: Started in Gold, quickly progressed to Plat rank. Managed to earn a lot of points in Gold rank. From all other players, only second placed player was in Plat rank and had higher lifetime scores than me. Other players were a mix of Silver and Gold, but since I started in Gold I didn't mind that. Ranked Ladder 1 Final Score: Second Best: 2 Ranked Ladder: From the start I noticed missing players from Plat rank. It was a bit harder to gain points, but at the end of the ladder, nobody managed to progress to Plat. While I managed to progress to Diamond. Overall, my roster consisted of player with lower level and stats than mine. Ranked Ladder 2 Final Score: 7 other players, that achieved Tier 1 in Ranked Ladder 2: 3 Ranked Ladder: Since I started in Diamond it took me way more time and energy to achieve Tier 1, barely surpassing competition. I checked EVERY player in my roaster. Not a single Plat player, all players are Bronze, Silver, Gold rank. (Even one Rookie) Ranked Ladder 3 Final Score: 7 other players, that achieved Tier 1 in Ranked Ladder 3: Main issue: As you can see, highest scoring players are from lower ranks, where their cost of entry significantly lower, compared to higher ranked players. Example: Silver player will have flat -200 points across their matches, compare to flat -650 for Diamond player. 450 points can be the difference between placing in a higher Tier. I don't really want to get into the notion, that lower ranked games are significantly more "chill" and prone to greater scores, than higher ranked one. But keep it in mind. Suggestions: A) Remove Cost of entry from Ranked Ladder scoring. This way there will be no disparity between lower/higher rank. P.S. From my understanding, Rank promotion bonus already doesn't count towards Ranked Ladder scoring. If we excluding bonuses, we should also exclude penalties. B) Adjust Ranked Ladder roster to ensure that 100 players are close to or in the same rank at the start of the Rank Ladder. P.S. I consider myself a "mid" Apex Legend gamer, but holy moly am I this bad that I'm getting rostered with these players? No offense to them tho. It's doubly funny since in pubs my team (solo q) almost every time marked all the way to the right side of player distribution chart. This is the reason why I actually like to play Ranked around Gold-Plat rank. Feels more balanced than Pubs, but this is whole other topic. The amount of times I get into games with teammates the skill level of a bronze is insane. My skill level is diamond. You seriously need to fix this issue and its a really big problem for players. This is why a lot of pros solo queue. EA you really need to stop adding new things and focus on the current ISSUES such as match making to better improve the game and by doing that you wont have so much new/old players quiting your game. The reason is that if this is not made clear, some serious players will be at a disadvantage. Being too serious can be a problem, but there will be a certain number of players who do not use gray areas. The difference between certified skills and glitches is unclear. I think it's something that can be understood if you think about it using common sense, but at the moment it's all down to the development team. Please clearly propose official skills and glitches, and keep the glitches updated. Footsteps have been almost impossible to hear lately — not just for me, but for my whole squad. Enemies are super quiet while allies are way too loud. The friends I play with all have the same issue, so I'm sure it's not a personal bug. We've checked our settings and setups, and it's consistent across matches on both PC and console. It's really hurting awareness and making fights feel unfair. Stability, ping, and overall matchmaking quality have all taken a hit, affecting gameplay at every level—from casual pubs to ranked. Current Issues: Server instability: Regular packet loss, ping spikes, and lag. Average latency often double what it used to be. Forced single server: All EU players are now on one server, making every match a gamble for stability, latency, or packet loss. Increased cheating: It feels like cheaters are more common since the migration, further harming competitive play. Impact on Casual Play (Pubs & Mixtape): Mixtape example: Ping averaged 63–67ms, normally around 28–33ms, on the older servers Dying around corners or missing shots that should have landed is far too common. Casual modes feel less enjoyable, and sometimes not worth queuing. Impact on Ranked: In roughly 7 out of 10 games, I experience: Packet loss, server lag, or ping spikes (sometimes all three simultaneously). Getting killed through walls or around corners due to latency. Teammates/enemies teleporting or rubberbanding during fights. Squad fights decided by who experiences fewer latency spikes rather than skill. Missed rotations or failed ability usage due to delayed inputs. Consequences: Directly affects ability to climb and enjoy ranked. Losing matches to factors outside my control is demotivating. Overall enjoyment of the game is decreasing. Suggested Improvements: Enhance server performance to reduce lag, packet loss, and spikes. Reintroduce multiple EU server options for better regional distribution. Hey there, i´m very confused now, i play Apex since Season 0, coming from Titanfall so i know about this game and now i have no words for those changes and i´m sure, Devßs doesnt play this game by there own :(. So we have Movement Legends, we have Recoons, Assault, controller, Skirmisher and Support. Our Movement Legends has always been Octane (!!), Pathfinder these 2 was THE Movement Gods in the Game, whart happend to them ? Octane is a joke, his perks are Trash, no , they are a big Joke and Trash, Pathi is still a Fridge but know, a Legend who is in the game to Scan the entire Lobby, a Legend who exist to know where the enemy is hiding, is now getting the strongest Movement of all ! C´mon, this is the Idea to buff a Legend nobody is playing ?? In the Dome, his movement stacks with mantle, supreglide ... this is such a big bs for the game. I'm a player who's been passionate about Rampart and wrote a lot of feedback recently. Rampart's barrier is always useless, and if you're traveling long distances and get hit by Vantage, Ashe, or Hans's abilities, Rampart will get stuck and die. Even if you're lucky enough to get inside a building, you'll get hit by Ashe, Wraith, or even Hans' silent abilities again, and you'll die alone. I always die first. This game just doesn't suit me. Rampart's barrier defense has been lowered slightly, and the barrier build speed has also slowed down. Rampart's Legend interaction voice lines haven't been updated, while the other Legends are. It feels like a tragic experience for someone like me who loves Rampart in this game. I wish EA would pay more attention to Legends with low win rates or who aren't used much, because there are people like me who love them. If you were going to neglect them so much, why did you include them in Apex in the first place? To the developers, thank you for all your hard work. I participate in ranked content both as a full squad and as a solo player. I'm having some trouble when playing solo and would like to ask for your consideration. My problem is being matched with a duo. I feel this is particularly unfair when there's a rank difference within the duo . I understand that the team has implemented measures for party restrictions and matchmaking. However, I believe that duos should be restricted to players in the same rank tier. For example, let's say I'm teamed up with a Gold and Silver duo. Both the enemies and I are matched in the Gold tier, but our squad is the only one to be exceptionally given a Silver player. What's more, I'm a solo player and they're a duo. Isn't it a bit harsh to be matched with a lower-ranked player, especially when team communication is already difficult among players of the same rank? I believe duos should be changed to a system where they can only be composed of players in the same rank tier.
