A Replay System isn't just a "luxury"—it’s the Anti-Cheat tool we actually need.
First off, I want to acknowledge the work the Security Team has put in lately. Seeing nearly 30,000 bans and the drop in the "infection rate" reported in the April 24th update is a step in the right direction. However, as many players in Diamond/Masters and high-level pubs can testify, the "player experience" still feels heavily impacted by soft-cheats that go undetected by automated systems. We need a Post-Match Replay/Theater Mode, and here is why it benefits Respawn as much as it does us: Higher Quality Reports, Less Noise: Currently, players report out of suspicion because they only see a 2-second kill cam or a jittery spectate view. A replay system allows us to verify if someone is actually "beaming" through walls or using a DMA card before we hit that report button. This means fewer false positives for the security team to sift through. Crowdsourced Evidence: Communities like r/ApexSecurity or dedicated Discords already do a lot of manual work to catch cheaters. Giving us a tool to capture 360-degree evidence of a "soft-aimer" or a "6-man team" in Ranked makes the community an extension of your anti-cheat team. Lowering the "Infection Rate": Respawn’s own metrics for an "infected match" rely on reports leading to bans within 14 days. A replay system speeds up the "Time-to-Ban" because the evidence provided by the community would be undeniable, taking cheaters out of the ecosystem faster. I know the Source Engine makes this a massive technical hurdle, but as we move further into 2026, the gap between Apex and its competitors (who have had this for years) is becoming a major pain point. If we want to keep the integrity of the "lowest infection rate in history," we need the tools to help you maintain it. Would love to hear a Dev’s perspective on if a "Theater Mode" is even on the long-term roadmap at this point. I've noticed something about the bots that appear in modes like Bot Royale. Only bots for nine legends—Bangalore, Fuse, Wraith, Octane, Bloodhound, Seer, Vantage, Lifeline, and Conduit—appear. The remaining 18 legends—Revenant, Mad Maggie, Ballistic, Pathfinder, Horizon, Ash, Alter, Crypto, Valkyrie, Sparrow, Gibraltar, Mirage, Loba, Newcastle, Caustic, Wattson, Rampart, and Catalyst—do not appear. To Apex Developers Just wondering if it would be a good upgrade to the devotion if it kept some of it's charge when winding up, similar to the Nemesis. Perhaps to balance this you could add a short delay before the pressing the fire button similar to the RE45. would be a good gun then. It does have a long reload time after all so wouldn't necessarily make this an overpowered gun. Dear Apex Legends Team, I’d like to suggest two changes to improve game fairness and player experience. Separate matchmaking by input method Currently, controller players benefit from aim assist, which — especially after recent tuning — allows for very smooth target tracking. In contrast, mouse and keyboard players rely entirely on raw human input and focus to track enemies. This creates an unfair advantage in cross-input lobbies. I propose matching controller players with controller players, and MnK players with MnK players. This would preserve competitive integrity while respecting each input’s strengths. Ban devices that spoof controller input (MnK-to-controller adapters) Cheaters use adapters (e.g., Cronus Zen, XIM) to use a mouse and keyboard while the game thinks they’re using a controller. This gives them controller aim assist plus the precision of a mouse — making them nearly unstoppable. It ruins the experience for legitimate players. These devices should be detected and permanently banned. Games are meant to be fun, not frustrating. These changes would go a long way toward making Apex enjoyable for everyone again. To Apex Developers I'm a Rampart Main. Can you make it so that her tactical is click-hold and release, similar to Caustic Tactical. (I.e. press and hold the Tactical button to hold the wall in hand, then release the Tactical button to place wall). Currently you have to enter setup mode using the Tactical button and place walls independently with a click of the Fire Button, sometimes this can lead to setting up a double wall, when doing quickly, this is very clunky. I believe Revenant could be in a better spot, capable to be more deadly while not being majorly meta-defining. I originally assumed Revenant's place in the Assault class didn't make much sense, that he'd get better snowball capabilities as a Skirmisher with Charged Knock's (and his old ultimate which instantly refreshed his shadow shield). However, it makes more sense to see him as a scout entry-fragger assassin who plays off of weaknesses and makes calculated decisions; that being said, it could be improved upon if his stealth portion of his kit is focused more. I suggest that he gets new upgrades, here are some ideas to implement: Silent/muffled movement After Shadow Pounce Usage During Forged Shadows Faster crouch-walk Speed boost towards highlighted enemies Highlighted enemies have reduced healing speed Faster weapon ready on climb/mantle Shadow Pounce cooldown reduce when landing near enemy Forged Shadow's enhanced climb/crouch-speed Silent/muffled Shadow Pounce Usage Fully charged Shadow Pounce grants: No landing fatigue Faster weapon ready The idea is that these upgrades/buffs (if implemented into his kit) help with stealth, punishing isolated enemies, and calculated movement.16Views1like1Commentuna nueva comunidad para apex en nuevo modo de juego

The Hemlok's burst mode should be removed. I agree with the intention of wanting to change the weapon environment while saving memory capacity, but this adjustment was not good. The Controller class, which was already in a slump with a low pick rate due to being a poor match for Ranked mode, has had its deployables neutralized even more easily by this mode. When selecting a character in ranked matches, I went to the bathroom and when I came back, the Legend I wanted to use was already taken, and a different Legend had been automatically selected. I think it probably picks the Legend I've used the most in the past, but it would be great if there was a "priority Legend" function in the settings. This is about limitations of controller settings(at least on Xbox). There are some actions that use the same button. Too often at times while playing Wattson there are instances where I want to res a teammate or open a door after I've put down some fences to discourage opponents pushing me and I press the X button to res but instead wattson disables the fence I just put down. The down button on the D-pad is already employed for this character action and I haven't found a way to remove the X button from this function. Next, I think Apex needs to be better at attracting new players, though that was obvious from what I could tell. I believe having so many locked characters is counter-productive to this goal. It would take about 2 months or more of casual play to be able to unlock all of them with LTs. I believe it's better if new players had more options to start with as well as an easier and shorter time to unlock all characters.
