Region lock
I just played a match where I was called the N-word for 5 minutes straight by a chinese player who aim botted. He and his friend both finished the game with over 18 kills, we won, they both had new accounts. During the match I was killed by level 1 players and a bunch of under level 20 players beaming across the map. Can you Please region lock so that NA players don't have to deal with this BS any more? The ping is insane and we're getting players from the region with the highest amount of cheaters. Can't even report the players because they don't use english characters. This needs to endCheating is still bad
I'm getting killed in the most unusual ways, by players with the most unusual player tags. Some say "temp random number" and some names are like they just needed to think up something on the spot. Games get worst after 9pm mountain standard time in NA. I got knocked down to silver 4 from diamond 1 and I'm player players that have aim like they're preds. It gets worse at a certain time each night which I think the player base knows why but respawn refuses to region lock... Level 20 players dominating lobbies against people who have been playing religiously since season 1 isn't normal if you haven't noticed. Not 80% of the player base are prodigies...please keep up the cheat detection, this game is still in a really bad state even with the recent cheat detection upgrades
Universal Melee not disclosed as random at place of purchase.
I know this is on me for the most part, but I haven't played apex in like 3 years, and in that time universal melee's have become a thing (I like them). So I decided as a treat to myself I would buy one. BUT after buying all necessary packs, I open the last one and find out its RANDOM. Nowhere does it disclose this from seeing the packs in the shop, to purchasing them, to opening them. NOT ONCE. If you click into browse pack items it tells you, but like HUH? Surely it needs to be disclosed before you purchase and proceed to open all of them? Obviously I didn't get the one I thought I was purchasing, I guess that's on me, but please for the love of god, ADD RANDOM TO THE SHOP TITLE. Like this feels like either a super scummy way to trick people, or a silly legal issue. Anyways, waiting to hear back from EA support on getting it refunded.HORRENDOUS energy ammo idea
Cool concept, makes sense In reality tho it is impractical. Wildcard for example or big gunfights, you'd usually be recouping that ammo as you fight, but with energy ammo it depletes and you're stuck. Has kind of rendered energy weapons redundant. Especially that poor old RE45 - requires charge up - burst fire - ammo can run out and need to recharge Worst weapon in the game along with the charge rifle.
Crimson Ripper - The Heirloom's Problem. ???
Just got the Serpent Sting heirloom from the universal pack event of the S30. Bought the Crimson Ripper animation. I'm sorry, but WTF is this, Respawn? I can't unequip it, I even didn't see the original version in game. After all the universals that already present in the shop with their customization options, you still didn't add an ability to unequip the Crimson Ripper variant from the heirloom??? Unbelievable. Respect your buyers, please.Need help unlinking Steam from wrong EA account (linked less than 1 year)
Hello, I accidentally linked my Steam account to a new EA account by mistake. The current linking is less than 1 year old, so the system does not allow me to unlink it myself. I keep getting the message "This issue isn't supported by advisors" no matter which category I choose on EA Help. Please help me unlink my Steam account from this EA account so I can link it back to my original EA account that has my Apex Legends progress and items. Important question regarding Time-Limited Mythic Items
Just wanted to open this up firstly to find out something myself but also to possibly alert/make people aware of this when possibly purchasing the new Skippy Mythic Alternator skin. To anybody that has purchased the Epyon Whip or the Beam Saber Mythic Melee Weapons from the Gundam Event in March, are you still able to spend Exotic Shards in the shop to unlock other items for these Mythics (different colours, deathboxes, etc...) or did these options vanish after the event ends? Thanks if you can provide info on this, it might help you decide whether it's also worth getting this skin, it's pretty cool but it'd suck if you can't get the rest of it's items after the event ends despite the fact that you own the base skin.

Mostly it was reshuffling of upper management and a lot of kumbaya about the future of gaming. A couple of questions I would have liked to hear addressed: How does EA plan to continue to produce new products while saddled with billions in new debt? Does Apex (or for that matter, Respawn) even have a future within the company, since, while it's been a "succuess," it has certainly not approached the success of EA's sports titles, or games like Sims. Just ask the developer of HiFi Rush what counts as success these days. Shuttering Respawn could end up being exactly the kind of quick accounting trick that makes the company look leaner for five seconds without hurting any of the real EA cash cows. And even if they don't kill Respawn out of the gate, can anyone seriously imagine that Apex will get anything but the barest maintenance for the foreseeable future? Has it got anything more than that for the past few years? What of Apex 2.0? Another victim of the unsustainable acquisition frenzy that killed so many titles, and studios, when Microsoft bought Activision? All of this corporate ownership is great for the previous owners who got the pay day, but has mostly proved disastrous for gamers, gaming, game developers, creativity, and stewardship. If you thought that EA was the post child for the en**bleep**tification of the gaming industry... you haven't seen anything yet.
Spotlight pass needs legendary loot?
I bought a spotlight pass for Gibi the other day and Im stuck on this one last challenge where youre required to look legendary items. Ive looted mythics and legendary items in br from airdrops and looted golden shields from control and team deathmatch however none of these seem to do anything for the counter? Either the pass specifically wants the golden attachments that are no longer in the game or it is bugged and I'm unsure how to finish my spotlight pass.
So we can't buy Skippy variants after the event ends?
So I cleared the entire event and unlocked Skippy - spent about $200 doing so. But after the event timer hit zero, the option to buy the variants just disappeared. I don't get it - I already paid real money to get the mythic alternator, so why can't I buy the recolors afterward? It feels pretty unfair to lock customization behind a limited window, especially for those who already supported the devs. I would like to know the reasoning behind this decision.
Bring back no respawns
Randos consistently put their teammates in hot drop no loot scenarios. I'm even tied off people from my friends list thinking this is ok. There used to be a penalty in ranked for leaving the match at any point even if your spectating and your respawn times out. It's killing the player base and the quality of matches. Crafters should only be for items, not banners for respawns and respawn becons along with deathbox respawns could also go. It's a luxury over utilized by players who voluntarily make poor decisions so that their teammates spend the rest of their game finding ways to get them back instead of being able to take reasonable fights while they get high damage points with minimal kills. Apex used to be about preserving your team and being strategic. I won't say what it's turned into..
New cheat on duets?
The pattern is the same – solo pathinder, without teammates, playing cautiously until the last team is dead, then destroying them with aimbot to earn win streak badges on new accounts. But if he kills you early and you report him, he either kicks you out or leaves, changes his nickname, and starts a new game. What the **bleep** is this and when will you do something about it?
