Battlefield 6 BSOD — DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER (eaanticheat.sys)
BugCheck 0xF7 = DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER → almost always a bad kernel-mode driver (anti-cheat, RGB/motherboard utilities, audio “enhancers,” overlay tools, storage/USB filters). RAM instability can mimic it, but 0xF7 nearly always points at a driver that corrupted kernel memory. In my case, WinDbg shows the faulting module as eaanticheat.sys while running bf6.exe (Battlefield 6). Looks like EA Anti-Cheat overflowed the stack, causing a system bugcheck. Has anyone else run into this with the latest update? Any official word or workaround from EA yet?
missile and bullets not hitting targets
Fix your **bleep** game. Bullets flying through walls, missiles and bullets not hitting other people and choppers. whats going on? and you nerf the chopper. runner over opsticals and getting throwen up in the air. kill feed not working good enough. getting killed with no info at all. inviseble walls, people can lie on the ground and you are not able to hit them because of some detail on the map, debree and stuff.?Weird death glitch
So I got killed and hit revive. After seeing it wasn't going to happen in time I hit the button to die. That annoying flatline noise was stuck on and I wouldn't die. I tried several times but just laid there for 5 full minutes doing the princess wave and then someone revived me. I've only seen it that one time
Battlefield 2042 & JoySticks
To EA, DICE and to those who have joysticks or looking to purchase. This is to serve more a warning to those who are looking to acquire joysticks to use with Battlefield 2042. I saw that within the Battlefield 2042 controller settings a joystick option and remembered enjoying the battlefield 2/3 immensely with one when it came to jets and helicopters. So I ordered myself a VKB Gladiator EVO R based on other recommendations for flight sticks as I plan on using it in Star Citizen as well. Oh boy did I assume and make an * out of myself. As you can guess this fancy and yet complicated stick isn't even detected within BF 2042. Long story short, Battlefield 2042 didn't ship with joystick support and it was only added as an after thought in 2023 from what I can find out via forums and the plethora of complaints on this subject. Many people made a suggestion to use a utility called joy2key, but this will not work, the game will not start (basically this utility violates the games t&c) and rightly so, basically the way you have to solve the joystick issue is the way aimbots and hackers would take advantage of a game by pretending to by emulate a Human Input Device. It is appalling from EA and DICE to introduce a joystick option but have no mention of it in any update changelog(release notes) and to make NO mention of any supported model/vendors. The stick does appear as xbox controller but my gosh is it clunky and re-mapping is a horror show. I really do hope there is better consideration for joysticks in the next game and hopefully something in the works for Battlefield 2042. I have been an avid fan since Battlefield 2 but they lost me with hardline, 1 and VLis’s g-84 missile is bugged on solo/co-op game modes
Lis is my favorite specialist to use and I can only play solo games due to my bad internet but what really drags me down as a specialist for her is after a few times using the g-84 tgm the camera gets stuck to the ground and you won’t be able to see and guide the missile and redeploying won’t fix it either nor using another tgm what’s even worse is it carries over to a vechile where the camera will still be stuck to the ground and you won’t be able to see to drive the vechile/air vechile I’ve tried switching vechiles and redeploying but it still doesn’t fix it and I’ve tried switching to a different operator to see if it at least fixed the vechile issue but it doesn’t and it is still bugged if I switch to a different class and then switch back to lis to see if that fixed it but it doesn’t work the only fix I know is to leave and start a different game can this bug please be fixed or can someone give me a way to fix it without leaving the game?
Mouse input choppy bug / Controller is smooth.
Mouse input makes the game look low fps / bad frame pacing / judder. But on controller this issue isn't there. Use a controller and the difference is immediately noticeable. Not related to mouse HZ or DPI. Mouse input is not affecting frame times or stability (maybe).
Game suddenly terminated randomly
"EAAntiCheatService The game bf2042.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005" Tried Uninstall, Re-install, Repair, Update , Clear_cache, Turn_off_ingame_overlay, Run_As_Admin. I did not change anything before this happend only update GPU driver but after the update its still playable until now.Banned account
I've also posted this in the general discussion but thought I would share it here also to potentially have some sort of response: My account was randomly banned on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 2042. I wanted to go back to these games after having fun playing the BF6 beta. Last time I played Battlefield 1 was towards the end of 2023, but after trying to sign to play in August of this year I was notified that my account has been banned from playing on July 1st. I honestly didn't think this was a massive issue as I had 2042 I could still play. I was able to play 2042 for maybe 2-3 days before I got another message saying that I was banned from 2042 as well. I appealed both bans through EA help only to have my Battlefield 1 appeal closed, their reasoning was "this is a duplicate of an existing appeal" and I can't resubmit. My appeal for 2042 was also denied. I asked for reasoning as to why the account was banned, the best they came up with was "Violating User Agreement" or using "Gameplay Enhancements". I've asked that if they have the means, please review my gameplay for the proof that I have not used any exploits or cheats of any kind. I never use in game chat and exclusively talk with my friends through discord. The appeal was denied again. "We have received your most recent correspondence expressing concerns about the action that was taken on your account. After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account." I refuse to buy Battlefield 6 because of this. Absolutely no specific reason was given to what I have done to violate their terms. If anyone else has had a similar experience and had it rectified please let me knowSprinting Bug?
Hi! I‘m playing on the Xbox and I’m sprinting forward when moving my left stick forward. I usually play COD and used to this mechanic. That usually works fine 90% of the time. But somehow I’m getting a bug where I‘m not able to sprint, I’m stuck in a slow movement until I let go of the left stick, stand still for a moment and then I’m able to sprint again. I don’t recognize a pattern when it happens, it seems kind of random. Does anybody also have this issue? Is it a bug are maybe intentional?
Game has become unplayable due to Directx12 crashes
so... I have always had the same Directx 12 error that crashes the game.. however today i can no longer play the game without crashes. I ahve had 6 crashes in about 30 minutes and have been unable to join a game. please see the error below. --------------------------- DirectX Error --------------------------- DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070", Driver: 55541. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- its clearly not a issue with the GPU and I can be tabbed out of the game and click on something random(a link on a webpage) and this would cause the above error. I have done everything including. reinstall battlefield and verifoied the game files, reinstalled windows, reinstalled all my GPU drivers and software, reinstall stream, reinstall EA, all programs are set to Run as Administrator. I have done a clean boot, I have turned DLSS off, I have turned down the graphic settings, ive tested my Ram, I have checked for overclocking. I cannot uninstall Directx 12 and when i go to overwrite it, it just says the latest version is present so no download is required. I am dumbfounded that this has got worse and not better and i know cannot play the game. is there any hope or am i just out of pocket again thanks to EA. Ive had the game for about 2 weeks now and its completely unplayable. Huge time nudge issues where it feels like im running in slow motion and after tons of research on the internet, at least for me, the issue appears to be that I'm auto connected to the Santiago Chile Server when I'm in the US. If I do US servers in customs, the game works fine, however its absolutely Absurd that I spent $70 on this game and am limited to a tiny portion of the game and am at the mercy of hopefully finding an actual lobby in custom servers. I see zero acknowledgement from EA anywhere about this issue and on X I see a bunch of posts from Battlefield pretending like there are no problems with the game anymore. I'm on the verge of returning the game due to this unless there is some sort of quick fix to this MASSIVE issue
Autohotkey Error start to appear after recent updates across BF1, BFV and BF2042
I have never used any type of software and suddenly after recent update this started to happen. I have seen many users having this issues lately. Only software running is NVIDIA control panel, MSI after burner and Logitech G-hub ?!! I have a problem across all recent BF games BF 1 , BF V and BF 2042. I still have to try some of the things, will see what happens, but this is concerning. It truly is ! Ensure AutoHotkey or Similar Programs are Not Running Check Background Processes: Sometimes, AutoHotkey scripts or similar software may still be running in the background even if you don't actively use them. You can check Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to make sure there are no scripts or programs running that might be triggering the anti-cheat. Close Background Software: If you're using any programs for custom keybinds, overlays, or macros (like Razer Synapse, Logitech G Hub, etc.), try disabling them temporarily and relaunch the game. Verify Game Files Corrupted Files: EAC might flag certain files if there are corrupted or missing files. You can try verifying the integrity of your game files via Steam (or the respective game launcher). Right-click on the game in your library > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Check for Other Software Interference Security Software: Anti-virus software or firewall settings can sometimes cause interference with anti-cheat software, thinking it's an intrusion. Try temporarily disabling or adding exceptions to your firewall/antivirus to see if it’s causing the issue. Overlay Software: Disable any third-party overlay software (like Discord, Nvidia GeForce Experience, Steam’s overlay, etc.) to see if that resolves the issue. Run Game as Administrator Admin Privileges: Sometimes, anti-cheat issues can arise from permissions. Try running the game and/or the EA app as an administrator (right-click the executable > Run as Administrator). Reinstall EA AntiCheat Reinstall EAC: If none of the above works, you can try reinstalling the EA AntiCheat. Go to the Battlefield directory, find the "EA AntiCheat" folder, and reinstall it. If you're using the EA app, you can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Check for Conflicting Keybinds Keybind Conflicts: Even if you're not using AutoHotkey, certain keybinds or macros (even if manually configured in software like Razer Synapse) can sometimes be flagged as "suspicious." Try resetting your keybinds or clearing any macros to see if that helps.
Very high ping after last update - South asia
im facing the issue of extreme high ping after the last update, i used to play with ~50 ping till last week, now all of a sudden all my games are `300+and upto 600 ping and unplayable, im from India, i think the issue started after latest update, is it a problem with dedicated server being down for my region, or something else? its not my Pc/network problem since other games like Apex legends has no problem with ping. please fix it asap.Error code: 1:86001S:66003S:-4688822970:0B
