Cross Progression
Is there a way to recover your BF 2042 progression? I played BF 2042 on PSN, then later bought it on my steam account (my steam is linked to EA). I tried linking my PSN to my EA, then found out it was already linked to my Dad's account (back from when I was a minor). I unlinked it, then linked my PSN to my EA account. I have since started BF 2042 on both my PC and PSN, and it has reset my progression to the beginning. How do I recover it?Solved115Views0likes4CommentsHow am I being stuck in same lobbies with repeated Cheaters>?

After the recent updates to Windows 11 - Battlefield 2042 was stuck on the Anti Cheat screen for literally 40 minutes - I checked the forums and also repaired the In-Game. Still after a restart the EA Anti Cheat would pop up and open several processes (Task Manager overview) So I decided to delete the game and re-install again. Now the damn thing is taking hours to download. Before you ask - this is a Top Spec PC with the latest Intel i9 chip, 64GB Memory with M2 SSDs (3TB) my internet connection is a 300Mbit download with 100Mbit upload. Steam has no issues with the games I upload there and play. Only using this crap EA App launcher it basically does not use the resources available. I followed many post suggestions from limit the bandwidth, Re-install (but the download is dead slow) Cannot repair as it is still stuck on this crap EA Anti-Cheat process. Network speed fix Open Windows PowerShell as an admin, and run this code: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal If you're done downloading and want to return the setting to their original state, run this code: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled Reset the EA Cache - no effect Complete delete and cleanup of the registry - done no effect Re-installing with the new EA App version - downloading at 3% - speed 66KB/s DSL Speed check 322.2Mb/s download with 59.8MB/s upload LAN configuration check - no issues Windows Defender/AVG firewall allows EA Apps through. Any other thoughts ?Solved409Views0likes9CommentsEmpty servers in Batelfield 2042.
Hello, I am a player of Battlefield 2042. A week ago, after the introduction of the micro-update Holiday Protocol (I don't remember the exact name), I ran into a problem. Firstly, the loading of the menu takes longer than usual and often gives an error with a code that starts with 1 86001S. You have to wait longer than usual just to get on the menu. Secondly, the most important thing. When I'm looking for a game and a map is found (I only play capture and breakthrough - the two most popular modes in the game), I'm thrown into an empty lobby, where I'm the only one waiting for players who won't come. I'm looking for the game again and the problem repeats. And it can take a very long time, until eventually the game starts working and I start being thrown into full lobbies. That is, the main problem is that I get thrown onto empty servers that have no one in them and it goes on like this for an hour or more. I've tried a lot of things. I rebooted the router, rebooted the game, turned off and turned on the cross-platform, rebooted the PC, cleaned the Steam and ea app caches, changed DNS addresses, turned on the VPN, but nothing helps. It just goes away for a long period of time. But it really pisses me off. I'm telling you right away, I live in Russia, I have a cross-platform enabled, and I have a good Internet connection. How to solve this problem?Solved157Views0likes1CommentAccount banned for no reason
I recently started playing Battlefield 2042. Today I tried playing but received a message that my accounts is banned. I only played Solo/co-op with my wife. No PVP etc. So only played against AI. the ban don't state why and for what..... I can log into my EA account so I presume its is not hacked - should be no funny activity. Anybody experienced something like this ? PS: I did dispute the ban.Solved168Views0likes3Commentsnot able to look around

I installed a fresh version of windows 11, no user data carried over from a previous PC (except some photos and documents) The very first thing I did was install the EA Desktop app, and Battlefield 2042. After download and install, the game failed to launch. I then double checked that all drivers were installed updated, and made sure to download/install MS VC++ Redist 2022, .NET, and Directx to ensure all were up to date. Tried again, same result. This is when I started doing some googling, and discovered NUMEROUS other threads online about other users having the same issues as I was having, some of them for up to TWO YEARS. I tried everything I found online as troubleshooting steps, but I still get the same result as others. The easy AntiCheat splash screen appears with the battlefield graphics, loads, and disappears. After around a minute or so, BF2042.exe shows in the task manager, but the game never launches. Additionally, I cannot end the BF2042.exe task, access is denied. (My account is full admin) I have tried the following as resolution steps: - Updated all drivers - Updated DirectX, .NET framework, and MS VC++ Redist 2015-2022 - Removed all older versions of MS VC++ redist that were downloaded as part of the windows install (2010, 2012, 2013) - Deleted and reinstalled EasyAntiCheat using the tool provided - Modified permissions of all EXE files to run as administrator. (EA Desktop, BF2042.exe, and EasyAntiCheat) - Launched the game from the Xbox App, EA App, and the desktop icon (with all apps open, and with one app open at a time) - Deleted DLL files in EasyAntiCheat (which threw an error) and had to reinstall EAC again - Repaired the game files multiple times (which required 45 minutes of downloading game files every time) - Removed and reinstalled the game completely Suggestions from the EA Support team: - Shift+Right click, run as different user, run as admin - Log into admin profile instead of my personal one, attempt to run (Same results) - Suggested that I delete the CryptBase.DLL file. (This was not located in the game files as they instructed, but in my system32 folder. I created a backup and attempted to delete it for grins and giggles, but was denied access) - Update .NET (Already done) - Update MS VC++ Redist from the game files _Install/vc directory (This is a 2015 install, I currently have 2022 installed which is newer, and is labeled as 2015-2022, for x86 and x64) - Verify my user is in administrators group (Done) - Disable all antivirus and monitoring (Windows Defender is disabled, no other antivirus or tools installed) - Delete : C:\Users\-username-\Documents\Battlefield 2042\cache (Does not exist, because the game has never successfully launched and created that cache yet) - Disable User Account Control (Done) - Disable CFG for BF2042.exe (Control Flow Guard) with an exception override within windows App & Browser control) After two days, three long chat sessions with EA Support, and about 50 different methods, this game will still not launch, on a brand new, clean install of windows and BF2042. Experiencing graphics driver issues when launching Battlefield 2042, reporting "The graphics card has been physically removed. ” In fact, after checking, I am sure that there are no issues with the graphics card installation and drivers. I checked for updates to my graphics driver as suggested in the error window, but my driver is the latest version (Geforce gameready566.03) and that still doesn't fix the issue that 2042 won't boot. I followed a friend's suggestion and tried to disable the computer's built-in GPU to enter the game, but the frame rate stabilized at 10 fps with severe stuttering.
