Portal Servers Stuck
I have a portal server that is stuck. I can't shut it down and I can't host another experience until it is. It consistently displays in my active hosted experience regardless of how I try to shut it down. I try shutting it down from the host menu and it gives me an undefined error. I also cannot join the server from the host menu, I receive an unauthorized role error. The only way I can actually join the server is to search it from the portal server list. Once I have logged in I have admin rights like I should. If I try to shut the server down, it tells me it's closed and all players were disconnected. However, the server remains active and does not actually shut down. It's still displayed in my host menu as active, and is still joinable. I need to be able to shut this down in order to host another experience. Can someone please help me with this ASAP?
Battlefield 2042 PS5 Hazard Zone permanently stuck on “Discarded”
Hi EA/DICE team, I’m reporting a critical issue in Battlefield 2042 (PS5). Every time I try to load Hazard Zone, it gets stuck indefinitely on the Discarded map loading screen. This makes the entire mode completely unplayable. I’ve already tried all standard troubleshooting steps: Reinstalled the game Cleared PS5 cache and rebuilt database Changed DNS and NAT settings Tried different networks and even a different EA account The bug still happens 100% of the time, even on fresh accounts — meaning it’s almost certainly a server-side or corrupted session issue specific to Hazard Zone in this region. I purchased the game for $69, and it’s extremely frustrating that one of the core modes is broken without any official fix or acknowledgment. Please escalate this issue to the Battlefield 2042 live-service team and: Terminate all active sessions for my account Reset or clear any corrupted Hazard Zone data Investigate the backend server cache for the Discarded playlist on PS5 EU servers Thank you for your attention — I really hope this can be resolved soon. — A disappointed but loyal Battlefield player.
Can't create an experience
When i go to the website to create an experience after creating an account, the website is glitched out and won't let me pick a game mode. When I try to manage I cant even put a name or a description nothings working.i cant seem to find any forms about this issue. If it matters im using a phone on Samsung internet app.
Battlefield 2042 – Portal Server Hosting Error “No server found // 9:7205636470
Hello everyone, I'm currently having trouble hosting the server from another guy (with his CODE) on the Battlefield 2042 portal. Every time I click on “Host Server” in the game, I get the error message: MISTAKE No server found // 9:7205636470 Other portal servers (of other players) are online and working without problems → the problem only affects my own hosting. My settings: Cross-Play: ON Allow followers: ON Persistent Server: ON (also tested with OFF) Game message: OFF Welcome greeting: nothing Previous attempts at solutions: Tried turning persistent server OFF → same error Cleared cache in EA app and restarted game Tested without VPN/firewall/AntiVirus Is this currently a known bug with Portal hosting or any possible workarounds until EA fixes this issue? Do I need to open or forward any ports on my router or PC for this to work? But i dont think so ? Thanks in advance for any help!Vehicle Pass Not Spawning
After completing a couple different missions for vehicle passes that are marked as a reward, they dont come? All i get is a box full of supplies then an empty one. I cant be a tanky boy without a take. Help me dice devs I beg 🙏playing on XBOX Series X Otherwise absolutely love the game even when I suck. No other issues other then minor bugs that im sure will get worked out over time. Yall are doing a good job dont let people's unwarranted hate get to you. You beat COD every time in my book. [Bug?] Sound of gunfire does not scale to range
There are times when I am shot with an AR from, say, 30+ meters away and the audio makes it sound as if the shooting happened right next to me. This is misleading and should be corrected. Not sure if it is the audio of the gun shot (so it needs range modifier) or the sound of bullets hitting me (so it needs less loud sound).Permanently Banned for Farming AI in Portal - No Way to Appeal
Subject: Urgent Appeal: Wrongful Permanent Ban & Unable to Submit Case - Battlefield 2042 Dear EA Help Team, I am writing to appeal a permanent ban on my account (WinterS771) in Battlefield 2042, which I believe was issued in error over a month ago. I am also unable to submit a formal case through EA Help, and I desperately need your assistance. Here is what happened: I was playing in a custom Portal mode, battling AI bots to efficiently unlock weapons and attachments. This is a mode officially provided by EA. After a few hours of gameplay, I was shocked to find my account permanently banned. I want to state unequivocally that I have never used any cheat software, exploits, or unauthorized tools. I was simply playing within the game's provided framework. My situation is particularly frustrating because I tried to appeal. I first submitted an appeal in Chinese but, worried about translation issues, I withdrew it to rewrite it in English. Upon withdrawal, my ban case completely disappeared from the EA Help system, along with any further option to appeal. Every attempt to submit a new case since then has been unsuccessful. As a legitimate player who has invested time and money into your game, this situation is incredibly disheartening. To be banned for playing an official game mode, and then to be stripped of any right to appeal, feels profoundly unfair. I humbly request that you: Manually review my case and the circumstances of my ban. Investigate whether this was an automated error related to XP gain in Portal modes. Restore my account, as the permanent ban is unjust. Thank you for your time and understanding. I eagerly await a resolution and the chance to return to the battlefield fairly. Battlefield 2042 Xbox Crashing or Shutting Down console
@EA_Atic I’ve seen you active in posts in the past regarding EA games causing the Xbox Series X to crash. I also experience these issues. I’ve tried everything listed in all of the support posts and nothing fixes it. Sometimes the game crashes at about 5 minutes in other times I’m able to play 10-15 minutes before crashing. This happens in Madden 23, NHL 23, F1 22, and NFS Unbound. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I’ve been a huge fan of EA over the years and look forward to your titles, but I’m beginning to resent that. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on your last few games to not even be able to enjoy them. I don’t just but the regular editions, in most cases I but the limited editions. Please tell me there’s a fix to this very common, known issue. CM edit: edited title for clarity.
Tap/Hold X to give up glitch (make hold a tap also)
“PS5 Pro” user. In conquest and other large scale game modes, I have to hold X to give up after dying. But In Team Deathmatch and other CQB modes I have to just tap it. But a hold doesnt also count as a tap in this game so I’m constantly doing the wrong thing and it’s costing me time-back-to-battle and aggravating me. The “hold doesn’t count as a tap” affects many other actions as well since there’s no rhyme or reason when some action is a hold and others are a tap. Please just mage everything a tap or else make holding a button an immediate tap as well when that is needed.Terrible Game Server - Lobby Performance
Since the start of FREE PASS with all the BF6 goodies, every server is lagging. All of them spike with SFT into 25 , i have seen servers that even peak 30 SFT. Its now 3 weeks with SFT issues, but there is no message from DICE/EA about the issue or a (hot)fix for it. Didnt ya scale up enough servers , are ya being ddos, any fault rack or cable issues. Really everyone is complaing about the lag , stutter , rubberbanding ect ect ect Ya should shame ya self for those bad and terrible performance for those server issue and no feedback to us , the clients. When its searching for a server it takes 1 minute 30 seconds or even 2 minute vefore it will fill a lobby. Then ya have to wait the time in the lobby before the game round starts. Now it is very rare that a server is being found under the 1 minute of search. Is there any compensation for us , cause this issue is still going in week nr3 ! <> x24 hour !!!!!!! I really hope there will be some explantion to us , the clients what to expect till the time before BF6 is launched/ Cause if this stay till launch of BF6 , then ya got real bad advertisement setup !!! WHen I try to load battlefield 2042, it loads a green bar on the splash screen, but after some minutes, I get the following error. Can you please help me EA support? : EA Javelin Anticheat found an error. Extreme Lagging leads to Disconnect/ Sent to TIMED OUT from inactivity screen.
Since the new update I just started experiencing major game breaking bugs. This is the worst. I'm in a match actively playing (continuous controller input) and randomly the game will begin to lag, objects in the world begin slowing down and floating, then I disconnect and am sent to the Timed Out from inactivity screen. I'm not able to play for more than 10 mins. I've closed and reopened the game on the Playstation menu. Turned the Playstation on and off. The Issue still occurs!!! I also get the black screen spawn beacon bug,VKB Gladiator NXT/EVO
I know this is an old thread, but- I tested my VKB Gladiator NXT/EVO first in Battlefield 6, then in 2042 after seeing they claimed to have “joystick support.” Two things popped up... Problem #1- The games wouldn’t see any button numbers higher than 17, so I remapped what I needed into 1–17 and turned the rest into keyboard keys. Problem #2- The real issue was the thumb mini-stick. When I first tested this out, I was still running my Star Citizen profile that I have used for a few years, which disabled the mini joystick and replaced it with a virtual mouse input. During this time the stick was recognized and worked just fine. The other night I reset everything back to factory, not realizing that the only reason the stick was actually working with Battlefield was due to how I had that mini joystick set up. Once the default axes were reassigned to the mini joystick (X Rotation / Y Rotation), the game started treating my VKB like an Xbox controller instead of a joystick. When I switched that mini-stick back to a virtual mouse inside VKB’s software (which removes X/Y Rotation), BF6 and 2042 immediately recognized the device as a normal joystick again. Took me a while to narrow it down, but this is the root cause for everyone who's had issues running higher end sticks on Battlefield these past few years. Basically for some reason the sticks of an Xbox controller and those two axes for joysticks share the same hardware ID profile. Doesn't matter if it's VKB, Virgil, JoyToKey, or VJoy- if either X Rotation and/or Y Rotation are enabled, it'll come up as an Xbox controller. So, how to fix: In VKB software, disable X Rotation and Y Rotation on the mini-stick and set it to act as a virtual mouse. Alternatively, z rotation causes no issues and can still be used, so if you wanted to instead remap the y-axis of that mini stick to Z Rot, you could. No third-party remappers needed; there are several YouTube videos and guides out there that show exactly how to remap buttons and set up VKB’s virtual mouse if you haven’t done it before. Or if you wanted to get a little more advanced, you could use v joy to create a virtual joystick and joystick gremlin to remap any and all of your BKB buttons to be what you want on that virtual stick. Just make sure when setting it up that you uncheck X Rotation and Y Rotation. I've confirmed that a virtual joystick created this way will not come up as an Xbox controller. Using this method, if you have HOSAS or HOTAS, you can also combine the inputs on both into one virtual joystick, if that's how you wanted to fly. If anyone ends up ever actually reading this and wants help setting any of this up, feel free to message me here or on Discord (Silversquirrel) and I'll happily jump on a call to walk you through it. I can confirm that using the VKBs to fly in both Battlefield titles is pretty epic.HUD category in Settings + Minimap size
Anyone else experience this? Go to Settings / HUD Try to leave Settings page pressing ESC You are stuck on this screen unless you select a different settings category and the press ESC While in HUD, changing minimap size to Large and then trying to change again to other size - stuck. Minimap size seems too small now.
