Have to always launch the game twice to connect to online services
It seems I have to launch BF2042 twice in order to connect to the online services through the EA Desktop app. First time I launch it, I am in space watching a looping video of satellites. So I close the game and I launch it again. Now BF2042 splash screen appears and I'm now connected to the online services. How can I fix it?
Audio drops out entirely throughout entire PC
So when i boot the game, i get maybe 5 seconds where i can hear audio in the main menu before it cuts out my device entirely and not just within battlefield its my ENTIRE PC, all sounds from system and any other apps. I use XLR headphones through a scarlet amp so i think battlefield may be having issues with it as if i switch to my speakers it works just fine and audio comes back but if i switch but it all cuts out again. Ive tried updating drivers and lowering the bitrate through my headphones but the issue prevailsAudio drop out on my focusrite 4i4 3rd
This is only happen on battlefield 1,battlefield v and 2042 when start the game go in to a match de game freeze a second and all my audio on my pc is gone didnt have this problem before but I have only focusrite as source as audio so it cant change to other audio source its a bug cant even have fun and play
Wheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.

I don't have any software from DiscSoft or any daemon tools, I don't have input mapper software installed etc. there's no interception.sys too in services. Tried all fixes in discussions, youtubes and google. Still I can't play the game and can't just refund it cause it says I have 6 hrs game time in steam. How to fix this?

Bug Report: Battlefield 2042 Crash on Death Animation So earlier today I started back playing Battlefield 2042 after not playing for about a year due to the new Dead Space collab with the new Outbreak mode. However, I'm having a serious issue where every time I die, right as the death animation starts to play, the game freezes and crashes immediately with no error message. This happens in all modes. I've looked online and seen others with similar issues. Some reported that deleting the cache folder for the game helped, but it was only a temporary fix — the issue returned within 30–45 minutes. Since deleting the folder didn’t help, I decided to reinstall the game, even though it’s large. Unfortunately, the problem got slightly worse: it started freezing even faster, sometimes before the death animation even starts. I then consulted ChatGPT, which recommended analyzing the crash dump file using a program called WinDbg. I did so, and shared the analysis with ChatGPT to interpret the results. ChatGPT Response Summary: Root Cause Summary: The crash was due to an Access Violation (0xC0000005) — specifically a read from a null or invalid pointer (0x0000000000000008). Crash Details: Module: amdxc64.dll (likely part of AMD graphics drivers) Function: Boost Serialization (boost::archive::detail::iserializer::load_object_data) Crash Reason: Attempted to read from RCX + 8, but RCX was NULL (0x0), leading to a crash. Contextual Clues: Crash occurred while BF2042.exe was running. Involves amdxc64.dll — a common AMD GPU driver library. Occurred during Boost serialization and DirectX 12 GPU pipeline operations. Likely Cause: A pointer used by the AMD graphics driver during deserialization or pipeline setup was NULL, causing the game to crash. So at this point, having done nearly every troubleshooting step and even running diagnostics with the help of ChatGPT, this is the closest I’ve gotten to an explanation. Hopefully someone from the developer team can help investigate further. And yes, before anyone asks — I did try switching the game to run in DirectX 11. The same issue persists. The new weekly event seems to have a bug for me, no matter how many points I have I simply cannot purchase anything from the buy/call in menu or spawn. So whenever i try and click on anything in store to purchase or add a coin the screen freezes , i can still hear the game sound but the screen is freezed i tried : overlay enabling windowed mode verifying game files none of the above worked , need a solutionProblem running the version

I am certain that there is no program with that name or anything else that could support what this program is doing. On 14.05.2025 I got this error when i tried to open BF2042: "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: Interception" I tried by myself to search for a solution and nothing i tried worked, i talked with EA support and i did all the steps they gave to me and nothing solved the issue. To be mentioned game worked well till that day. on that day something changed and i do not know what. I already did: restart PC and apps, disable all start up apps and restart, enable all start up apps and restart, check files integrity for windows and game, reinstalled the game, reinstalled the anti cheat, deleted the files from C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts and from C:\ProgramData\Origin restart and checked the game, checked the task manager for Interception app, checked the installed apps for this name or similar apps and nothing, changed the mouse restart and tried again, uninstalled the windows update that were done on 14.05, loaded a windows backup from before that date....nothing solved. If you know what can cause this or what ca I try next I am open for ideas.
