Is EA provoking Chinese players
This must be the worst company I have ever worked with! I received a permanent ban for no reason. I spent over $1000.00 on a product with additional components, and even couldn't play games. I contacted EA three times for this, and every time I talked to someone, I got the same answer. EA chatted. It seems that they are all programmed to say the same thing. It is almost impossible to establish contact with anyone there. I don't understand how they can take your money and kick you out of the game. There is no refund, no warning, and no way to truly talk to anyone to get the real answer. As long as they are willing, they will permanently ban you. For some unknown reason, they legally robbed the customers there. Since the first game was released in 2021, I have been playing this game and have been seen as deceiving them. Who spends over $1000.00 on the game and cheats?? What a joke!!5654847a2 hours agoNew Novice26Views0likes1CommentSOLUTION: How to enable Secure Boot on Gigabyte Motherboard
Enabling Secure Boot on Gigabyte Z590 Motherboard: Complete Guide Secure Boot is an important security feature that ensures your system only boots with trusted software. For Gigabyte Z590 motherboard users, enabling Secure Boot requires several preparatory steps and careful configuration in the BIOS. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the entire process. Prerequisites for Enabling Secure Boot Before enabling Secure Boot on your Gigabyte Z590 motherboard, you need to ensure several system requirements are met: UEFI Mode: Your system must be running in UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS mode 7 GPT Partition Style: Your boot drive must use GPT (GUID Partition Table) rather than MBR (Master Boot Record) 7 14 Updated BIOS: Ensure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard 12 TPM 2.0 Enabled: Windows 11 requires TPM 2.0 (though Secure Boot itself doesn't require it) 16 Step 1: Check Current Secure Boot Status Before making any changes, verify your current Secure Boot status: Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter In System Information, look for: Secure Boot State (should show "Off" initially) BIOS Mode (must say "UEFI") 7 Step 2: Verify Disk Partition Style Secure Boot requires GPT partition style: Press Win + X and select Disk Management Right-click your boot disk > Properties > Volumes tab Check "Partition style" - must be "GUID Partition Table (GPT)" 7 If your disk is MBR, you'll need to convert it to GPT before proceeding. Backup your data first as this process may erase your disk. Step 3: Enter BIOS Setup Restart your computer During startup, repeatedly press the Delete key to enter BIOS 16 Press F2 to switch to Advanced Mode if needed 16 Step 4: Disable Compatibility Support Module (CSM) Secure Boot cannot be enabled while CSM is active: Navigate to the BIOS tab Find CSM Support (may be under Boot options) Set CSM Support to Disabled 7 12 Save changes and exit (F10) Re-enter BIOS to continue configuration 12 Step 5: Enable TPM 2.0 (Optional for Windows 11) For Intel processors on Z590: Navigate to Settings > Miscellaneous or Peripherals Find Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) Set to Enabled 16 Save changes (F10) Step 6: Enable Secure Boot Now you can enable Secure Boot: Navigate to the BIOS tab Find Secure Boot option (may be under Security tab) Set Secure Boot to Enabled 7 If prompted about Platform Keys (PK), select Install Default Secure Boot Keys 12 Save changes and exit (F10) Note: Some systems may require you to first set Secure Boot Mode to "Custom", restore factory keys, then switch back to "Standard" mode 14 Step 7: Verify Secure Boot is Active After rebooting: Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter Check that Secure Boot State now shows "On" 7 14 Troubleshooting Tips If you encounter issues: Black screen on boot: Likely indicates your disk is still MBR - convert to GPT 14 Secure Boot option greyed out: Ensure CSM is completely disabled 12 Error about Platform Keys: Install default Secure Boot keys 12 Windows won't boot: You may need to disable Secure Boot temporarily to access recovery options Important Notes Enabling Secure Boot is not strictly required for Windows 11 installation (the system just needs to support it) 14 Some older operating systems or hardware may not work with Secure Boot enabled Certain games (like Valorant) require Secure Boot for their anti-cheat systems 14 By following these steps carefully, you should successfully enable Secure Boot on your Gigabyte Z590 motherboard, adding an important layer of security to your system.lNAPPROPRlATE17 hours agoSeasoned Veteran588Views1like3CommentsNTW Ammo Velocities Reversed?

Dear EA Support, I would like to report a critical compatibility issue between Battlefield 2042 and the latest AMD Adrenaline drivers (version 25.5.1). and it seems many players have the same problem. After updating to this driver version, the game consistently crashes during mid-game death scenes, making it unplayable. The only current workaround is to roll back to an older driver version, which is not ideal for users who require the latest updates for other applications or titles. I kindly request that the development team investigate this matter and release an update or patch to ensure Battlefield 2042 runs properly with the latest AMD drivers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, DragoGreeceDragoGreece23 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer3.3KViews49likes49CommentsGame crash without error nor apparent reason
Hello, as per the title sometimes the game crashes without giving any kind of error, the crash doesn't happen often but roughly is about once every 9 hours of game splitted in a session of 2 / 3 hours per day. The only think that I noticed is that at the exact crash time there is an event in the Windows Event Viewer utility that is described as per the follow: `Download of the file system filter 'EAAntiCheat' (version 10.0 date-time-and-unkmown-stuffs) completed`; this kind of event occurs every single time the game crashes, so I guess it's not a coincidence but I can't really understand how might I try to fix it. Several times I did updated and/or repaired the anticheat through the appropriate tool (located in the game installation folder) but with no difference at all. I'm sorry if the description might be slightly wrong or different but my operating system has a different language from English. If you wonder, I have everything updated except for the GPU drivers (I own a RX 6700XT) because there is a known issue with the most recent drivers and AMD 6000 series, other than that I really don't know if there might be a workaround or there is a need from the devs to fix it. I also attach the DxDiag just in case it would help, or if further informations are needed I'll gladly help and will try to do my best.Error code: 10610

The issue is with the controller right stick drift. Without any input, the aim will constantly drift upward. I've tried custom settings, default setting, and nothing helps stop the drift upward. I've seen this issue before, and one of the previous updates fixed it, but now it's back. Please fix this issue as it makes the game unplayable. I'm using Steam, Lenovo & Dell PCs (both have this issue) and an xbox controller.evo1902 days agoNewcomer7Views0likes0CommentsI was mistakenly killed by the EA anti cheating system
21Views0likes1CommentPacket Loss IN on Brazilian server (AWS sa-east-1)
Hello EA team, I'm experiencing consistent “packet loss: IN” while playing on Brazilian Battlefield 2042 servers. The game connects me to the IP 18.230.23.73, which resolves to a server hosted in AWS sa-east-1 (São Paulo). I get low ping (20–30ms), but persistent packet loss that ruins the match experience. I’ve tested with PingPlotter and confirmed: - Route is stable until IX.br (Rio de Janeiro). - At the final hop (the server), 100% packet loss appears (likely due to ICMP block), but this matches the in-game issue. Details for investigation: - IP: 18.230.23.73 - Hostname: ec2-18-230-23-73.sa-east-1.compute.amazonaws.com - Date/time: 11/07/2025 at 22:17 BRT Please check this server instance. It may be overloaded or misconfigured. Thanks.MAC4BRO_TTV3 days agoRising Newcomer8Views0likes0CommentsWeapons progress not registering or going backwards??
Hi, over the past few months (I don't get chance to play that often) I've been trying to unlock a weapon where on of the challenges is to get 'Kills in a round with and an assault rifle at a distance more than 50m'. I was really struggling with this and wasn't making any progress, I put it down to not getting the distance or just me being crap. The other week I started making a real effort and taking note of the kills and distances and noticed I was actually getting the kills but it wasn't showing up in the progress. I did manage to get to 6 of 10 and thought that I'd cracked it but I checked the other night and it was back at zero. Has anybody else experienced this? How do I complain, the chatbot thing is **bleep**e and I cant seem to contact anybody at EA? With all the negative shenanigans of late with secure boot and all, I'm contemplating not playing battlefield any more they aren't the games they once were. Look forward to some expert insight, thanks in advance.70MM03 days agoRising Newcomer8Views0likes0Comments[INFO] BF2042 Patch 8.8 (May 27) – Secure Boot Requirement for Supported Systems
With Update 8.8.0 on Battlefield 2042, we will require that Secure Boot be enabled for PC hardware that can support it. This will provide you with a higher standard of trust and safety while you play select EA titles. As cheat developers keep evolving their tactics, we're stepping up our game, too. To keep Battlefield 2042 fair and fun for everyone, we're strengthening our defences, especially against cheats that try to sneak in during the Windows boot process. This move supports our Positive Play commitment and helps ensure a level playing field for all players. If you attempt to load the game following Update 8.8.0 without Secure Boot enabled, but are on a piece of hardware that supports it, you will be prompted with a message stating that Secure Boot is required. Secure Boot is a feature available for Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices, and you can learn more about how to enable this functionality via our EA Help article here. (‼️At Your Own Risk‼️) How to Reset Secure Boot if Battlefield 2042 Does Not Recognise It Before you proceed, consult your motherboard manual for precise steps. BIOS/UEFI menus vary by manufacturer. EA is not responsible for any damage or loss of data. ‼️This is at your own risk.‼️ Incorrect changes to BIOS/UEFI can render your system unbootable. Verify that Secure Boot, not just UEFI boot, is required. Ensure your system boots properly with CSM (Compatibility Support Module) disabled. ‼️Consult your motherboard manual‼️ for precise steps. I’m facing a serious issue in Battlefield 2042. The game consistently crashes to desktop immediately after I die in any match. This started after updating to AMD Adrenalin driver version 25.6.1. I’m using an AMD RX 6600 XT. I've done the following troubleshooting steps: - Verified game files via EA App - Clean installed drivers using DDU - Disabled overlays and other background software - Lowered graphics settings to minimum - Reinstalled the game None of these fixed the issue. However, rolling back to driver version 25.4.1 solves the problem, which confirms this is likely a compatibility bug between the game and newer AMD drivers.HustleMB4 days agoNewcomer55Views0likes3CommentsWhat Does 2042 Network Graph Mean?
Hi Guys: I've been having issues when playing 2042. It just locks-up, stutters. Sometimes it plays very well, but not often. Anyway, I displayed the network graph and the bar. When this happens it becomes obvious because the graph just goes off the map. There's different colors in the graph related to different things. I just don't know how to read them. Make note of the red packet icon in the upper left corner. Anybody got any ideas I'd love to have a conversation with you. ThanksConfuzzo4 days agoRising Rookie61Views0likes5CommentsFalse BAN....
