Hearing enemies is impossible
It's impossible for me to hear any enemies. Even if I'm standing 100 meters away from all the action and an enemy runs up behind me I still can't hear them. This issue isn't as bad with vehicles, but tanks for example are also often way too quiet unless they are directly on me. This issue somehow resolves itself when I'm dead and I can hear everything perfectly fine, but while I'm alive I can't hear enemy footsteps at all. A few days ago I asked about this on reddit and was told that nobody else has this problem. Since then I've reinstalled the game, deleting all the files in the process and redoing all the settings, etc. This obviously did not resolve the sound issue. Now I don't know if this is actually a bug or just some messed up setting, but since resetting the settings didn't resolve it idk what else to do. If nobody else is having the same issue it also can't just be that the game still has awful footstep audio.
Banned account
I've also posted this in the general discussion but thought I would share it here also to potentially have some sort of response: My account was randomly banned on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 2042. I wanted to go back to these games after having fun playing the BF6 beta. Last time I played Battlefield 1 was towards the end of 2023, but after trying to sign to play in August of this year I was notified that my account has been banned from playing on July 1st. I honestly didn't think this was a massive issue as I had 2042 I could still play. I was able to play 2042 for maybe 2-3 days before I got another message saying that I was banned from 2042 as well. I appealed both bans through EA help only to have my Battlefield 1 appeal closed, their reasoning was "this is a duplicate of an existing appeal" and I can't resubmit. My appeal for 2042 was also denied. I asked for reasoning as to why the account was banned, the best they came up with was "Violating User Agreement" or using "Gameplay Enhancements". I've asked that if they have the means, please review my gameplay for the proof that I have not used any exploits or cheats of any kind. I never use in game chat and exclusively talk with my friends through discord. The appeal was denied again. "We have received your most recent correspondence expressing concerns about the action that was taken on your account. After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account." I refuse to buy Battlefield 6 because of this. Absolutely no specific reason was given to what I have done to violate their terms. If anyone else has had a similar experience and had it rectified please let me know
Very bad performance on BF42 and BF6
Hello ! I have a huge problem of performance on this two games, on BF42 my performance are worst than the first time i played it with my old CPU (5600X) and 16 GB of DDR4 than my new setup. I experience stutter, my fps drop sometime to 45 fps on both game, and i have a maximum of 90 fps on both. 130/140 fps in menu. When i see on youtube people on ultra 1440P with the same config having 100fps while i have it in low/medium on both game Here's a video : https://youtu.be/jbcaSw2NQfI My config : 9800x3D RTX 3080 64GB DDR5 6000 MT/S NVME MP700 14 000 MO/S As you can see on the video : BF6 and BF42 > I've put Lowest preset setting possible + lowest resolution possible + dlss performance ultra = 90 fps on both ~~ DLSS Performance Ultra + Lowest resolution is equivalent to play the game at a resolution of 240x180 or something like that i think. BF V > Ultra preset setting + 2K + No DLSS+ DXR = 90 fps Okay the game is old, but i have NO DLSS, the game is in 1440P not in 640x800, If i optimize the game a little in settings i can get 130/140 fps easely. So i have the SAME fps than BF42 and BF6 WITH DLSS on LOW QUALITY than on BFV with NO DLSS and ULTRA QUALITY and DXR. And i have similar performance than people having the same config than me on BFV, it's only with BF42 and BFV that is worst. And if i put my BF6 on balance quality mode i get around 60 fp s with big stutter and drops of fps below 45 fps Same for BF42 it runs really bad. I tried Do benchmark with Superposition/3DMark for GPU/ Cinebench 24 for CPU, i have a normal score I tried to install a new windows (11) on an other SSD and try with a completely fresh installation : the EA Overlay enable tips, doesn't work i tried uninstalling both time my gpu driver with DDU, no internet and windows update disabled, do nothing i tried disabling resizable bar, do nothing. I tried installing NVIDIA DRIVER 577 and 566.36 : Same issue Please, I'm desperate. I know that some people's games are running better than ever, but that's not the case for me and some people. I don't know why, and I haven't found any solution whatsoever. What's more, I only have this problem with these two games! Please help EA.Weird death glitch
So I got killed and hit revive. After seeing it wasn't going to happen in time I hit the button to die. That annoying flatline noise was stuck on and I wouldn't die. I tried several times but just laid there for 5 full minutes doing the princess wave and then someone revived me. I've only seen it that one time
Fix portal host servers
The game is a complete success. Thank you for allowing those of us who want to play more relaxed games to still level up and gain experience, but why can't I host my server on the portal? This has been a problem since day one. I want to play a 32 vs 32 conquest game, but I can't because of the maximum server capacity. Limit creation to one server per person and that's it. Until yesterday, assault mode could be played 15 vs 15, but today it can no longer be hosted. Please fix this and thank you very much.
GPU Hang Detected
I've had this issue on/off with 2042 since launch. Sometimes once the main menu loads (where it shows your character in 3D) the game will freeze. Sometimes I'll get an error like below, sometimes not. Sometimes this happens when I'm alt tabbed out of the game. I've been building my own PCs and using them for 30yrs. I've covered all the basics. Drivers, updates, disabling overlays and BG apps, etc etc. I've tried playing on low settings (even though ultra is 144fps+), still, this can happen. My new PC is only 6 months old. It's a Ryzen 9800X3D and a PNY RTX 5080. I have 64GB 6000mhz ram, and the game is installed to a healthy M.2 drive. I only have issues with 2042, no other games (including all of the currently available Battlefield games, including the BF6 beta). This issue ONLY happens in 2042. Sometimes when I do get an error, it's GPU hang. Sometimes it's some other issue. Everything everyone suggests is always stuff I've always tried. Please, DICE or EA or whomever, needs to look into this.
Account restriction issue — "Waiting on Studio" response since August 31
Hello, I’ve been waiting for an update on my Battlefield 2042 account suspension case since August 31 (Case #221576999). The case status still shows “Waiting on Studio”, and I have not received any response from the EA Terms of Service team. I’ve already received several automated replies from EA Support (most recently Case #224152896), but none of them provided specific details about the reason for the ban — only a generic explanation. I respectfully disagree with the decision and would like to fully cooperate to clarify what exactly led to the suspension and to restore fair access to the game. Please help me escalate this issue to the studio or provide any information about the current status of my pending case. This situation has been unresolved for more than a month, and I really want to resolve it properly. Thank you for your time and understanding. Best regards, Kolebastrik. (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Anytime Summarize your bug Whenever I host my portal server It never puts it in my own region causing me to have 160+ ping and then it eventually lags me out and kicks me out of my own server for no reason. I am currently US East and it seemingly never goes near me. How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Host a portal server, its random occurrence from what i've heard when it affects people but has been hitting me every single time I host. What happens when the bug occurs? It kicks me out of my own server. What should be happening instead? We should have the option to change our server host regions or at least have the auto system actually work. I've had this problem to a degree for years now and no matter what i've changed like NAT type, Internet provider, or where I even live, the ping is always ridiculously high. It happened to me in BFV so I quit that for that reason. It happened in BF4 until community servers saved it, it happened in hardline, it happened in 3. How? I Just want to love this game man, please EA, give us a break for once.ISSUE for "Road to Battlefield 6" Battlepass tier purchasing, please help
Hello, I was on tier 50 of the "Road to Battlefield 6" Battlepass, I bought the BFC (Battlefield Currency) to complete the 60 tiers of the battlepass, which was 1,500 BFC. When I went to purchase the remaining 10 tiers, nothing happened, I waited and nothing. When I reopened BF2042 the "Road to Battlefield 6" Battlepass was no longer there. If there is any help or suggestions please reply.
Still having "3 files failed to validate" crash
Having this issue in bf2042 and I had it in the BF6 beta. Ive tried every single option I have seen nothing works. About 2-3 games in the game crashes, either closing program or hard crashing restarting the computer. I play through steam. After validating files it says "3 files failed to validate". It happens every single time. Im so excited about BF6 but i Dont think I am going to buy because I dont want to crash and have to validate files over and over. Ive checked so many forums and files and no one seems to have a working answer.
