Update the AI
Well, after one and half year trying with feedbacks and suggestions and bug reports, i commented every possible social platform, so i try here last. Fix the ai jets problem that in the game for years now. The jets not dogfighting not even trying to shoot down each other, however they can lock onto the player for a short period of time, or if the player move in one position they can shoot you down. However they wont naturally but they could because as i said they have the intelligent to do it. And also they should have rocket weapon against armored vehicles because when they shooting the ground infantry or vehicles the cant penetrate the armor. Also they never killing anyone when shooting the ground they inaccuracy as hell. The bots, why they can't use all of the weapons, if they have the intelligent to use them? I tested it with every weapon in the game, every main weapon, when an ai teammate was down i changed weapon before i revived him/her, and they used perfectly even the Rorsch MK-4. Dear dice why? Hm???? I reported for year and nothing, they not even touched to allow them to use all of them, at least in portal but ofc not.... when you try to allow them those weapons that they cant use naturally they wont have any weapon.... And the biggest joke the bots using the vault weapons that got into 2042 era in portal but in 2042 they cant, hilarious. The attachments, in portal bf3 and other they have attachments with their weapons, why in 2042 ai they not have at least a scope and barrel and underbarrel? Hmmm??? The solo ingame mode that total useless because of the server hertz rate that lower than other servers so it looks like battlefield 2042 from 2021. Add the last two vehicles to the bots, the lcaa and the bomber. They can use every vehicle in the game why they not using this two? Why the bots not using the stationary machine guns and row-s? Why in portal bf3 and the other ones when i play with bots i see how many bot are on the battlefield from each class but in 2042 portal or ingame solo, there is zero numbers always? The gadgets, i think they use too less, the medipack, ammopack, recoilless m5, the prox sensor. And also the tracer dart in portal bf3 and other. I think the rpg and anti tank grenade should be easily added to their arsenal, and also the claymore and smoke and the explosive launcher and the mine, the other not needed at all just this. It would be amazing if i could customize completely their loudauts and vehicles. It would give so much fun and freedom. Because it is interesting to see they using weapon system perfectly that they not use in naturally. Some vehicles the ai not using some sytem, like in the mc5 bolte the mine, or in the futuristic helicopter the bombs in stealth mode, but the gunner can use emp bomb, it is interestin btw. I really dont understand at dice, who reading the feedbacks, they fixed in last update the ai helicopters not using repair kit, but the jets still not fixed after years... Thanks, but i feel these will never happen sadly, if i know how i could do it i would do it by myself all of this....
Weird kill cam (glitches)
So, when I die, the kill cam is look like I'm prone but it's not, actually I'm die. It happen usually when I've a very high ping, above 150ms. Anybody know how to fix this?! I've already tried all possibilities, like: Reinstall the game Repair the game REINSTALL MY OS Reinstall my driver Crosscheck my GPU temp etc Please help me...
Weird plane/helicopter issue in solo/coop
Hi, I play BF2042 on a Xbox Series D and when I start a solo conquest game I can select a plane or helicopter and everything is fine. But then if I die and try into use a plane or heli again I think it spawns somewhere weird, like under the map, or stuck in a building. I tried spawning in the draugr and night bird and it did the same thing. So far I have only tried one map (Kaleidoscope) I haven’t tried other vehicles, or maps yet. I’ll try other vehicles/maps and let you know if it does the same thing.

PLEASE FIX THE GAME IT'S UNPLAYABLE ON EVERY PC. The cpu is at 100% even at ultra graphics 40fps, it's impossible. Stutters happen even at low graphic with CPU still at 100%. Settings are the stock ones 1080p ultra preset, ray tracing disabled, vsync disabled. Amd driver: 24.12.1 OS: WINDOWS 11 PRO 24H2 BUILD 26100.3037 CPU: RYZEN 5 5600x GPU: RADEON RX 6600 XT 8GB RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHZ SSD: 256GB
I just got robbed of the "Battle Angel" title
I got in an Infantry Breakthrough game and since I got Stadium which is a very close quarters map I decided to farm for the 3000 heal part of the title since I already had all the others. 80% through the game of just spamming syringes I got the "Doctor Falck in the house" achievement. At the end of the game I finished around 3520 heal ifrc, just the achievement alone proves I got more than 3k healing in a single round, then I checked the titles, everything was filled up but I couldnt equip it. I thought it was just a lil progression bug and restarted the game, only to find out that my healing in a round is back to 0, I took a lot of games to farm this title since you basically need a long game on a perfect map to get it. This tilted me quite a fkin lot.
Oh, look, another person experiencing random crash to desktop. Help please :)
Hi All, seems I'm one of many experiencing random crashes for no good reason. System specs and what I've done so far through process of elimination to try and resolve. Asus ROG Motherboard (forgotten the model of the top of my head, not at home but it compliments the CPU/RAM below) Intel i9 14900k CPU 64Gb Corsair Vengence 5600 RAM Sapphire Nitro+ 7900XTX 24Gb GPU (running at factory settings) Lots of colourful fans and funky stuff. Logitech G502 and G815 Keyboard. Windows 11 (up to date and completely virus checked) 2 x Acer Predator 32" 4K monitors. Problem: Random crash to desktop when loading the next map Or simply a random total drop to desktop in the middle of a round. Fine when I'm doing rubbish (well, not really), really annoying when I'm doing good (Rare 🤣) What have I done to try and fix?: Repaired BF2042, Cleared all cache's Reinstalled the EA App and BF2042 after a complete strip down of anything related in the registry. Reinstalled AMD Video drivers. Rolled back and tried earlier video drivers Reinstalled the latest ones again. Even tried (and currently running) the Pro Edition 24.Q4 video drivers. (I do use Davinci resolve so these are quite useful in that respect). Game runs very nicely (until it crashes). I do run an OC Profile on my PC. However, I have completely defaulted the BIOS to optimised defaults with NO overclocking. Completely disabled XMP (not just redued it a touch, disabled it entirely). I've tried closing down Armoury Crate services before loading the game (I have not yet disabled it entirely in the Motherboard BIOS) Disabled ALL Overlays. Switched between Borderless to Full Screen Set to run as Administrator. Actually created a secondary profile within Windows to try and resolve. All of this and to no avail. It just crashes. Sometimes, I can go for days, even a couple of weeks without a crash, the next I'm crashing in between every round and it seems to grown exponentially worse. I'll repair / reinstall and it seems to be ok for a bit. Then it'll randomly start acting up again. Nothing is over-heating. The CPU isn't maxing out at 100% The only thing I haven't tried yet is adjusting priority to high for the CPU (I'll do that later this evening) and I haven't yet disabled full screen optimisations but I will also try that later. If anyone has any magical words of advice that can help resolve these very annoying crashes, I'd be forever grateful (well at least until the next BF comes out with whatever exciting challenges that brings). Thanks in advance. PS. no other game crashes. As such, I refuse to reinstall Windows based on one single game crashing.

Just installed the latest MS update and now my gameplay is awful? I have reinstalled EA app as wouldnt open after MS installs. My gaming on B2042 was perfect before?! My internet is very quick and yet am getting networks issue spikes showing? please can anyone help me with this?
Vehicle / Lis Bug on Solo/Co-op Play
This problem only started after the last update. Description: Spawn in a vehicle and die, then spawn as infantry and try and use G84-TGM, or call in another vehicle. The camera detaches from 1st person view and remains static, you can then watch yourself fly away if using a Pondhawk. Changing to secondary seating position and you can then eject and parachute back to safety. If you call in vehicles, or just jump into vehicles after this the same thing happens, no matter what seat you sit in, the camera/pov changes to outside of the vehicle or sometimes under the map and the only way you can resolve is to terminate and restart the game. Same with the G84-TGM, this rocket fires off, but you are only shown the first frame of the animation. But the sound shows the rocket still moving and will only return to 1st person if you eject or it gets shot down. I did try a repair through the EA app, but that didn't make any difference. It is however only in Solo/Co-op Play.
Portal Servers Stuck
I have a portal server that is stuck. I can't shut it down and I can't host another experience until it is. It consistently displays in my active hosted experience regardless of how I try to shut it down. I try shutting it down from the host menu and it gives me an undefined error. I also cannot join the server from the host menu, I receive an unauthorized role error. The only way I can actually join the server is to search it from the portal server list. Once I have logged in I have admin rights like I should. If I try to shut the server down, it tells me it's closed and all players were disconnected. However, the server remains active and does not actually shut down. It's still displayed in my host menu as active, and is still joinable. I need to be able to shut this down in order to host another experience. Can someone please help me with this ASAP?
