Ever since the update I can’t even get through a game without it crashing. I’m in the orange bowl on the final season of my road to glory and the game crashes before the 2nd half everytime I play. I’m in PS5. I’m pretty upset I paid for this game because after the update it has become completely unplayable.
Custom Playbooks/Coach Suggestions Don’t Work In Dynasty
I created a playbook and rated the plays in gameplan for every situation. Coach suggestions are the same 6 plays over and over, regardless of down/distance/situation. Also it defaults to suggesting Onside Kick every time. Makes the game unplayable until this is patched.Dynasty Trophy Room Not Working on PS5
Do trophies only appear in the trophy room if head coach in dynasty? I earned several trophies in my first season as offensive coordinator, including Broyles Award, and none are appearing in my trophy room. I was signed in and there were no issues otherwise. Trophy room is just empty, despite the alerts and banners to indicate all the new trophies unlocked. This was one of the best updates to the game this year, so I’m disappointed it appears to not work.Player position changes screws up skill caps
I just noticed this but DO NOT CHANGE ANY PLAYERS POSITION AFTER THE SEASON. I had transferred a 5 star elite LEDG to REDG and they went from zero skill caps to so many skill caps like I basically recruited a 3 star normal rate player. Thanks a lot EA. This needs to be fixed ASAPwith fixing all previous position transfers. I don’t know how you would do it but give us a break. The game is not enjoyable at all in its current state. Ball snap issue even though there is a work around in most cases with OL options, can’t change existing player numbers, can’t do in season position changes, post season position changes screw up the player progression for worse, dealbreaker for playing style is way off, playing time deal breaker is way too strict for recruiting new players, can’t do free practice in dynasty with multiple users so can’t try out playbooks and make favorite plays, I don’t care about this as much but my son is young and plays on freshman to learn and he said he misses that the edge rushers were able to not go off sides in 2025 but now they do, I don’t know about that one being a big problem for most players but he wants me to bring it up because that’s a feature he wants turned on. Just seems like EA didn’t pay at all for beta testing and letting pre orders do all the heavy lifting. I will have to go back to 2025 because if you can’t change player positions without this huge penalty it’s not worth it. I screwed up about 25-30 players skill caps after the season as I switched a ton of new recruits and existing players and the whole first year was a waste.Online Dynasty Free Practice broken
I currently have a dynasty with 4 participants, but everyone's free practice shows Appalachian State as the team on the right hand side. This cannot be changed by any of us. One of the players is playing their dynasty as Appalachian State, and they are able to free practice, presumably because it is correctly defaulted to their user controlled team.Dynasty Stadium Atmosphere grade not working
I havent seen anyone mention that stadium atmosphere is staying the same for all schools in dynasty. User schools in rebuilds stay at a d or F regardless of stadium size, attendance, team prestige. Cpu teams also stay the same as day 1 of a dynasty start teams that drop to 2* staying in top 15 of stadium atmosphere. If you watch any youtube videos of dynasty gameplay you will also see that the grade never changes. This is an issue for team prestige if the team prestige grade is tied to all school grades like last yr plus the obvious gameplay issue of not having dynamic home atmospheres for good teams.Playing Style Grades Incorrect
The playing style grades are completely broken. The stats are wrong, the grades and rankings are incorrect. This is causing players to transfer and missing out on top recruitis. Playing style rankings and the stats of other teams must be fixed. I shouldn't have to pass for 700 yards to have a decent grade.Custom Playbooks Not Working
When creating a custom playbook, the "Coach Suggestions" section in-game always present the same pool of plays, regardless of your star ratings/selections in the "My Gameplan" section in the custom playbook menu. Obviously, spending lots of time on creating a custom playbook with unique ratings for the coach suggestions, and then for it not to work is quite frustrating. Let me know if I can provide any more details! I've tried raising and lowering the adjustments, even going as far as having several plays at "100" or "5 stars" and the same 15 plays appear for each situation (1st down, 2 & long, etc.). Seems like others are having this issue too. I’ll continue testing and trying things out, but this definitely seems like a bug/issue.Team Builder Bug: Some created uniforms won't load in the game
For one of my team builder teams, I have 2 custom uniforms (out of the 5 my team has) that won't load in the game. With one of them, it shows only the helmet as an option but when I try to select it, my player goes invisible and the game freezes and sometimes crashes. I've tried deleting the team in the game and reloading it, re saving and re submitting it from the website, etc. On the website the uniforms show up without any issue. What do i do??Field goals
I tried kicking a field goal and after hiking the ball and setting the power meter, the ball was snapped but the kicker never kicked the ball. The O line and D line kept blocking each other and the play never completed. This went on for several minutes before I left the game and restarted it. It has not happened with every field goal so it doesn’t seem to be a global glitch. I was playing a Dynasty season game as Akron vs Toledo in Week 5 in PS5. I took a video of it but the file is too big to post. Happy to email it to EA if provided with an email address.Custom Playbooks have bugs
I have seen that the custom playbooks are not working correctly. But was disappointed that a Fox was not coming on the next update. I see advertisements about the extra playbooks coming but nothing if the playbooks are going to be fixed. The custom playbooks does have something buggy going on with them. The default to onside kick and the coach suggestions do not work has been mentioned before. I have trouble finding a play when the playbook gets too large. CFB25 wouldn’t let me rate anymore plays at a certain point but that hasn’t happened in CFB 26 as of yet. Also, when I select a stunt on the custom playbook I think it breaks the favorite mechanic. I have not tried it on a non-custom playbook as of yet. But during a game I lose the ability to favorite a play. I will double tap the button to add it to favorites and when I use a stunt it will no longer work, it will just select that play. I use that to put my favorite plays on top of the favorites category, so the best are seen first. I really liked the coach suggestions when I have all my plays rated for situation. That gave me a mix of plays to call to keep my opponents guessing but now I have to look for them and really cannot remember them all. Lastly I tried free practice in dynasty with my team and custom playbook. It did not give me the option to respot the ball, etc. at the pause menu. I think only half of what is usually at the pause screen was there. I love using the custom playbook and tweaking it until it’s perfect but for now it doesn’t work and it needs some attention.Couch Co-op QoL and bug
I suspect couch co-op is not a huge point of emphasis, but I'll post this here just in case. These two issues have persisted since 2025. Quality of life improvement: with two or more players in the game, the ring below every player looks the same. It is impossible to immediately identify which player you are controlling, and this makes getting to the defensive player you want to control challenging. I understand the ring shows player fatigue, but adding a colored ring around that would be incredibly helpful. Bug: as anyone other than player 1, my ability to show the play by pulling the right trigger is randomly taken away. Once it's gone, it's gone for the rest of the game. The screen still pulls back, but no play art is shown.Unable to persuade players from leaving
I’ve come across an issue where after Year 1 you cannot persuade any players to stay. Every underclassmen leaves and ever transfer leaves. It doesn’t even allow the option to try and convince them. Apparently you get 10 chances for your whole career. Attached 2 seasons for proof
