When a game is broken, its bad.
A year older, yet the same broken game. Recently got back into playing the game. Found it the same issues, after all the updates last year to "fix it". Take it this how the game is broken, I am Ohio State, taking on Delaware. The game starts simple, roll down the field and touchdown. I shut down Del the two plays. 3 and 21, blitz and the qb rolls out. Replay would show that my RE broke free only to have the RT who was turned around was about to spin into a block again after being turned around like a whirl spin around, possible one in 1000000. QB find a TE down the field, tosses it towards my SS who was right on top of their TE. I switch, highlight shows control by me, hit the swat button. Ball should have been knocked down, but instead my guy who was control just tacked him...going through the TE which Del scored because my next player CB who is far faster then the TE couldn't catch up...like how the game plays, TE got a speed burst faster then the fastest player at 99 speed, and Acc. If it was only thing, would be a broken game. But then the script flips, and the shifts to cpu getting breaks way too many times. I get the ball, first play pass, slants, simple and easy. J.S wide open until the ball the was right in to front, then Del jumps quickly to hit him just as he caught the ball which leads to him flipping the ball forward into an Int. strange possible but unlikely. Next time, three and out, all three passes, all three times caught then dropped. Cpu moves down the field, 7 passes, 7 catches, 3 runs, 43 yards. Seems like my team is late on every play, response is slow and coverage is blown everytime. OL solid, QB perfect, WR keeps on catching even when hit at the time the ball gets there. Losing by 14. I switch up plays, give to my rb, who watches OL fail to block, fail to hold blocks, and responds is confusing. Twice C turns into the G clausing def to run wild, broken plays, broken OL logic, broken responds time. Kept playing the game, same old thing until halftime. Losing 24 to 3. Julian is 9-23 0 Td 2 Int, J.Smith 2 catch 23 yards. Def was slashed for 200 yards. Some say I can't play or its just a bad game. In real CF there games like this, so nothing new but how the game plays is the issue. Gameplay is broken, favors cpu over user, But the game isn't over. Second half, similar play like the first. Julian couldn't get a wr or te, rb worked at first. Saw the same issues, missed plays, cpu out racing faster players, responds by the cpu faster while my own cpu team was slower, lack of sense and at times out of place. RB finally broke a big run, even scored until the ball came out after falling into the endzone...and cpu returned it for a td..cause my team couldn't catch up again. Worse tried to challenge it but couldn't do it.....cpu didn't review it and all scoring plays are reviewed. The issues with this game, like 25 and now 27 are the same. Scripted plays, broken logic on both sides of the ball, slow responses on plays by the user...like pressing tackle and watching the play gone before they tackle. Plays where cpu goes though user players, at times deflect balls, and Int other times. Again, changing the settings helps but it never prevents the issues in the game. Worse is that I love college but go back to ps3 cf 12. EA doesn't make the game to play they make it for the money, and pay people to promote a broken game.
A BIG idea!
EA I’ve posted a few times about updating Mississippi State’s stadium and adding some more alternate uniforms as they have many. And I’ll continue to push for that BUT today I have a larger idea that I think could be fun and immersive. In Dynasty as a head coach of a program we take on the full responsibility of the program. We are the ones placed in the hot seat after a bad season. We are ones who get bonuses if we do well. WHAT if we made this more immersive. Like adding a press conference when we take over a program similar to Madden? That way we have our AD expectations and we have our Fanbase expectations to do what we say we’re going to in the interview for the season. What if we added those little interviews as we’re heading to halftime. The losing coach could meet with Holly and answer what they need to work on in the second half. Say better coverage and your secondary gets +1 zone or man for the second half depending on the defense you run. Say run the ball better and your HB gets +1 to break tackles and juke moves. Say pass the ball better and your QB gets +1 to accuracy traits. I think this’d really help for this Big season changing games. Then we could add post game interviews. Saying what we need to work on in the next week and then our answers decide what our team focuses the most on in practice before the next game. I think this would be an immersive. Amazing addition that would be felt and liked by many.
Offensive Gameplay Issues
This is undoubtedly the absolute worst College Football game that has ever been created. How can you play any offense??? Heisman, All-American, Varsity difficulty levels…none of it really matters. At the end of the day the Offensive line doesn’t even make an attempt to block for you. Running play action is pretty much impossible. Running works sometimes. Good luck playing as a QB in RTG because no matter what, your O-line will not block and receivers can’t manage to get open whatsoever. You would think after the third iteration of the game, they would improve the gameplay. But in fact it has only gotten worse…A LOT WORSE. EA is a horrible platform to produce this game and I find it hard to believe I will buy another one of these games because how horribly they are made.
CFB 27 Rosters — Continuing the Push Toward Authenticity
Thank you to the EA College Football team for the recent roster update and addition of 1,900+ players. We appreciate the continued effort to make CFB 27 as authentic as possible. We understand players must opt in and complete the licensing process before being added, and that freshmen, transfers and late roster changes may miss initial deadlines. One important question: Is CFB 27 currently limited to 85 players per team? If so, we hope EA considers expanding that limit where necessary. The goal shouldn’t be 105 players for every program, because not every team has 105 scholarship players and specialists. Instead, each roster should represent its actual eligible scholarship players, transfer additions and specialists who have opted in, whether that’s 85, 90, 95, 100 or 105. We also encourage EA to use official team rosters as the primary reference for jersey numbers, height, weight, true positions, transfers and players no longer with the program. Since users cannot recreate missing real-life players, continued roster updates are critical to accurate personnel and depth charts. The 1,900+ additions were a huge step forward. Please continue building each program toward its actual eligible player pool to improve roster accuracy, depth-chart authenticity and the overall Dynasty experience.
College Football 27 Team Builder choices
I just tried out the New Custom Stadium choices in Team Builder for College Football 27 I am not one bit satisfied with the choices I have in the Team Building site. With the Stadium choices they give you its not enough. You dont get any choices of accessories from Track & Field tracks devider walls for the Endzones, position of stands on the field etc etc. I have alot of custom Team Builder Teams, I want to be able to choose what Stadium I want & Stadium accessories to add to the Stadiums I choose. I dont like what the Devlopers have to offer in Stadium choices for College Football 27. There nedds to be more Team Builder Stadium accesssories to choose from in this seasons College Football game.
Road to glory NCAA 26 is terrible
I genuinely can’t believe this game mode isn’t better… the mechanics are terrible, there’s no story line that’s even a little interesting. The way you upgrade your player is boring. I just think it was very poorly done. I’ve never wrote a review about anything in my life I just hate this game mode so much I had to share. They could make this cool but I guess there’s no micro transactions so they don’t care.
Help a College football out
I've played 2014 for over a decade. Bought 25 and 26 and put in more hours into both those games than any other game. Where is my 2027 beta code for Xbox??? I'm annoyed because I'm focused on online dynasty that I play with my best friend and now he is getting a jump on me. I'm not spending $120 to get access when I don't play madden and absolutely despise Ultimate team. Help a College football fan from Orlando out EA! We share the same county, we're practically family. That is all. LolS.O.S.
Welp it's season 9 of CUT and it's still Raggdey still can't play with one of my buddies at all and still only can call offense with another friend when playing duos .....oh and now it's something new the game os giving false info about how many packs you have 1sec it says 6 packs then it say 18 but guess what I have neither!!!!This is very very irritating I've spent alot of money playing this game this yr at this point I feel like I've been robbed.....smhNCAA IS GARBAGE. End of story!!
So you creators and such expect me to believe, that young people can play this on a difficulty other than freshman? Having to leave the pocket FOR EVERY SINGLE THROW TO EVEN HAVE A POSSIBILITY OF WORKING, is nowhere near realistic, Defenses of teams that are low tier, are not supposed to have the same level of coverage as the higher tiers. I can’t even play this game casually on Varsity, because the difficulty is at least 2-3 levels higher than it should be. NCAA 2014 was the last good one that was produced. I shouldn’t have to sweat my back off and get so frustrated over this game, and yet I do, due to the lack of attention to the game and how it should operate. If I wanted to be a sweat, I would play on the 2 highest difficulties. Fix this piece of junk game or you will lose A LOT of paying customers. Point Blank.Compensation
I sure hope the CUT community is getting some type of compensation for how raggedy season 8 was. Hopefully I'll be able to play DUOs with my buddies cause last season was truly terrible in that department. More importantly is hopefully the issue is fix and the game works and me and my friends can play.
