First of all i like it i like it very much can it be better YES IS CAN BE. First I want to say the only mode I play is offline dynasty, it's addicting. CFB 25 I think was a basic game, but still finally a college football game! It was very basic from the gameplay to RTG and dynasty. CFB 26 is better even though it very buggy(which will hopefully be fixed in patches), but the changes in Dynasty are small. Most are things that should have been a patch last year. Just simple fixes is all we got. Dynasty really needs a complete overhaul to fit the modern CFB landscape. So I have gathered a rather long list of ideas that I would like to see. Even though I am not sure if EA even checks these forums. New Recruiting Calendar Players leaving and Transfer portal The players leaving tab opens as soon as regular season is over for teams not in playoffs or Conf. Championship game. Starting in Bowl weeks is when the recruiting window will open for transfers. Playoff and Conf championship teams’ players leaving window will pop up after elimination. Every week you will have new players wanting to leave, not just one screen of all the players, but spread out over weeks. You will need to convince them to stay or they will leave. Every week new players will be in the portal available to recruit. Also the encourage to transfer or encourage to enter draft screen will pop up after playoff elimination or regular season. This also affects your team for bowl games, players in portal will not be playing. The National championship teams will have the screen pop up during a Season finale week, recapping the season. Showing Heisman winner, National Champs, a way too early Top 25 for next year and NFL mock draft. The teams that played in NC game will have transfers go into offseason recruiting. Players leaving screen will also have the draft prospects you need to convince. You will also have some top transfers have the NFL as an option to recruit against. You will also have portal flips, and a transfer commit decide to go to NFL. Offseason recruiting You will still have a pool of transfers but not as many as when portal first opens during bowl weeks. You will have 3 weeks to recruit remaining transfers and Freshman, but also in those weeks you will have the pool for next years freshman you can begin scouting. Balancing this year and next year’s class with your hours. After those 3 weeks of remaining transfers, freshman, and scouting next year’s class. You will have second NSD for final rankings. The recruiting window will then open for the next years class after NSD and you will have weeks to start recruiting and doing more scouting for next years class as offseason progresses. As well as visits for these recruit. While also setting team identity training for spring, positing changes, training results, and encouraging to Transfer. After the (post spring training) encouraging to transfer window is over the recruiting screen will then have another influx of Transfers in the portal. Though you can only sign for the roster spots open. But if you are a power 4 school you have 5-10 spots for preferred walk-ons which sometimes can surprise and jump in OVR after training and seasons. Then later you can offer scholarships, but if they are good and you don’t give them a scholarship they will transfer. Starting into the season you will have already have commits that you will need to continue to attempt to keep, continue recruiting uncommitted prospects and maybe even working to flip a commit from an opposing team. Odds and ends Transfers that transfer because a coach leaves whether it be OC, DC, or HC, will most of the time have the school that coach goes to as a preliminary interest. Risers and fallers in recruiting rankings. A 3* you start recruiting in offseason ends up a 5* by signing day. A #1 overall players ends up out of the Top 100 players. Option of hosting summer camps to get recruits on campus, which will require a lot of hours, but will get a bunch of scouting done in one swoop and more interest in your school while also getting some of their interest revealed. You can only invite so many, but not all of the ones invited will come. Maybe has to be unlocked under the recruiting Archetype. Recruits committing via social media posts, or cut screen to a player you are in on announcing. Watching a recruits signing day ceremony. You don’t where he is going to go until he chooses. Recruit has behavior issues. Sometimes you can fix, sometimes you have to kick him off team or suspend him. But this is sometimes known when recruiting the player. Do you have the right culture to keep him in line? Can be unlocked under a certain coach archetype, possibly Motivator. Quick scout button. Instead of the constant hitting the scout button until the player reached 100% scouted. 1 button for a certain amount of points, but if you only have a few remaining hours you then go into the scouting screen and do only the amount you can afford. Scouting isn’t always 100% accurate. So having some recruits that say Gem but actually aren’t and some that say busts but actually aren’t. The accuracy depends on your coaches abilities to scout or a scouting staff. Scouting staff for recruits and transfers, a good scout makes a difference letting you know there is 3* transfer or recruit that he believe is a gem. A 5* that is a head case and will not fit our culture. 2. Other Dynasty Changes Draft results will not happen until after NSD. It also lists if one of your guys was #1 overall, top 5/10pick, mid 1st rd, or late 1st rd. You also get a boost if you have guy go #1 overall or the more top 5/10 picks you have. Also could generate recruting momentum. Spring or offseason training identity- being able set positions of focus and players of focus. This is where you start forming an identity for your team. Run heavy, pass heavy, or balanced offense type of training. Aggressive defense that creates turnovers, a fundamentally sound defense, or a balance. Your schemes play a role in training also. Which players need to focus on putting on or losing weight. Strength coach that has impact on weight loss or gain, speed, and strength. Loyalty ratings for coaches and players. A players loyalty rating can sometimes be unlocked in scouting or you find out when he gets on campus. It judges how likely he is to transfer if his dealbreaker is not met. Some kids are more loyal and will not transfer and will sit and learn even after losing a position battle. They won’t transfer until their JR or SR seasons, and that’s only if they are not playing. This also affects recruiting if they are more likely to stay committed or decommit. Even if they rise in rankings. Coaching loyalty/character rating. A grade that affects recruiting, which is kind of baked into coach stability, but I believe coach stability should be if you are on the hot seat and staff turnover. I think this should be a different grade that is just dependent on the coach. It’s affected how long you stay at a school, recruits that you force to decommit, transfers you encourage( true Freshman in particular), and how you handle player situations (IE discipline, injuries….) Forcing decommits- let’s say you landed a transfer and you have a recruit that hasn’t signed you no longer want or need. You can force a decommit, but sometimes can have a negative impact for a pipeline and coach loyalty rating. True Freshman can enter the post spring portal after just signing. You can also encourage to transfer but comes with negative impact on coach loyalty. Being able to upgrade stadiums, add alt uniforms, and subtle changes in background scenery. Even CPU teams having these changes if they have successful seasons. Cut-ins during gameplay showing highlights or scores of meaningful games around country. Different score bug In games, depends on which crew you get calling the game. Make a nicer score bug feel different for the bigger games. But you have the score bug change over time in dynasty. Export to Madden. I know because of NIL that cannot be, but after all of the players that are on NiL agreement are gone being able to then export the generated players to Madden. Hype one of the older sports games would have a talk radio show as background, recreate using AI. Players and sometimes coaches taking shots on social media. Draft buzz for prospects- During the season and offseason using social media tab and radio talk show in back ground. Mock drafts during season showing what players of yours might go in RD1 and which ones or on the cusp. Which will be showcased during in-game presentation. Screen showing which players are thinking of leaving early and draft grades. Schedule will be set ahead to allow hype in offseason. So at beginning of 2025 season you will set schedule for 2027. Offseason hype for big games. For instance you will see social media posts, magazines covers, and radio talk about the games, hyping up a season opener game for a top 5 matchup of let’s say Georgia and Clemson. Also this goes along with Heisman hype and hype around dominant players, big incoming transfers or Freshman. Stories about coaches or players against former teams. Recruiting flip story lines during game presentation and on social media. Weekly or season long strategies- especially if you have injuries or season long injuries. Notification and it’s on main menu screen in dynasty that you have a player injured (like Madden) Wear and tear is big so if you have an injury your strategy changes. Season long injury will take you to season long settings to change your team identity. If you lose that star running back for the season you might switch to a fresh legs approach or maybe pass more. Maybe it’s a lesser opponent this week and you want to get your young QB more reps and keep your RB fresh to prevent injuries and wear and tear. Maybe the QB is hurt for the week. So this week, not changing the season long identity, you run the ball more or have shorter easier passes for a young QB. WR - being able to say I’m going to feed my WR1 or spread the ball around. This even goes for Tight Ends if you have Brock Bowers type. Not sub, but manufactured touches. Along with moving the that WR1 to the X,Y,Z positions to get better touches. Moving the TE around for a better matchup on occasion. 3. Starting Point Start in offseason. Starting after second NSD. You begin with a lot of hours so you are not behind other teams in scouting. When you are new coach you don’t start in the fall but start in winter in previous year and this is the cleanest option. EA_Kent EA_Barry While gameplay is a core issue, they haven’t done enough for everything else. Recruiting is stale. The non ability to create your own recruits is laughable, considering the gateway of being to do this is just put in rtg’s player creator and put it in dynasty. It would be a step back into the right direction because of this dynasty gets really old at times with the same wash a. Repeat cycle. It’ll add a different element. Another thing is importing draft classes….. which is ridiculous because just make it to the point that you can only import players after year 5 and above in dynasty. Literally all players who are under NIL are gone. This would actually create a real life scenario and actually feed into the theme of following our recruits from college to the nfl once more. Dynasty is marginally improved, which is a problem because the advertising made it seem like it was be leaps and bounds better and in all honesty, it’s worse. Y’all don’t like repost but yet continue to not add what we are asking for. I think majority of us know in terms of gameplay, glitches and all type of animation based issues are just apart of it due to EA using frostbite as the engine, which makes that a separate issue. I’d like to think majority of us would be willing to give grace if you actually allow us to customize how we would like to. This game is TOO stale. Especially in dynasty. Equipment is still bland, recruiting is laughable considering we can’t edit appearances on the cpu generated NOR just make our own players but yet can do it on team builder??? And dynasty becomes boring after awhile because I have a bunch of great players from my recruiting classes that I would’ve LOVED to play with in madden. But yet, we can’t even import them yet.if money is all you all are trying to accomplish, YOUD have more if you actually allow these things without having to be so adamant of MUT and CUT. You’d have multiple options because by allowing what I just said above, life is actually being formed into franchise and dynasty, making an actual universe element to it. This simply isn’t gonna cut it and this needs to happen this year. Because until then, I’m not buying madden 26. And neither should anyone else if you all can’t meet us where we are at. And I’m gonna keep saying this message until y’all ban me at this point. Because influencers like Eric, Bordeux, Kurt, and many others aren’t telling the truth and keep playing in our faces when it comes to the issues of this game! Yet Ryan moody, divine, and many others get slandered for actually speaking on the core issues of the franchise and are called negative. I will start by stating that I am currently in year 4 of an online dynasty with freinds. I have won 3 national championships in a row as Louisville. I have ceo and program builder with the 2 pipeline coaching abilities in program builder maxed. I have raised the program level to 4 and a half stars. I had a whopping 3 recruits in the entire nation that had me 1st on their interest. How does a 3 time national champion have 3 people with their interest at 1st? I would think that would be much higher. The dynamic deal breakers seem broken or do not work correctly. Case in point year 1 the starting running back for Louisville (who was a sophmore and now a junior) left because he wanted a championship contender. I literally just won the national championship. In year 3 I had a very good season with my transfer qb and he was going to the nfl. In the off season every qb on my roster left due to playing time. Why would they all leave when the starter is getting drafted. One of the people leaving was my 5 star gem pocket passer qb who was second on the depth chart and was going to be the starter the next year. Another thing that made no sense was the coaching carousel and job offers. I had won 2 national championships, had ceo and program builder and the Clemson job and lsu job came open and I was not offered either. It feels like the game does not prioritize winning over the scheme you run. I had 2 other friends get offered the Bama and oregon job. The person who got the Bama job was year 2 and they had only went to the playoffs and lost to me in the semis. The person who got the Oregon job never even made the playoffs. The thing that they both had was that they ran the same schemes as the team that they got offers for. Not sure what all goes into choosing who gets the offer but it does not seem to be winning, having top recruiting classes or even having ceo or program builder. I know in 25 there was a visual glitch where when you advanced to a bye week, practice would be gone. But to fix that you had to back out and rejoin the dynasty. This year has the same issue. I'm on a double bye (week 3/4) in my 32 user league and want to at least be able to play with my guys and get used to them/test out my custom playbook with my team. The whole jersey tucked up under their shoulder pads is ridiculous. Nobody wears their jersey like that in a game, because its against the rules..........they might wear in in practice that way. a. 3 to 4 years into a dynasty, when starting new season, there are NEVER any 5 star guards or centers. There are never any 5 star SS either b. Despite 99 speed, players run like they are clenching their cheeks. c. despite 99 speed and a 0 threshold setting, I get walked down by slower players d. I cant run the ball in the redzone/goal line to save my life, despite have a superior OL/team, while attacking gaps or weakness of the defense. e. Amazing AI........How come when I hot route, 3 defenders will cover that hot route or WR??? Also when going into hurry up if I run a jet motion, he runs forward then sideways for a False start penalty f. Either make coaching abilities cheaper or increase the coach level. Why cap a coach at level 100 if level 100 doesn't unlock all the attributes???? I thought EA would have learned their lesson last year when coaches where capped at level 50. g. EA automatic depth chart, I guess it cant figure out its right from left or left from right. Constantly putting LT in RT or REDG in LEDG and Sam in Will position. It will switch/sub a backup 92 LT and a backup 92 RT h. Championship contender rating drops for NO REASON i. after about 10 years into dynasty...........5 star a few and far between. 4 stars everywhere though. j. I know there are a ton of posts on this issue as far as the game crashing (in mostly the 1st quarter) when playing online dynasty using teambuilder. My issue though is, I've followed EA's troubleshooting and have gone as far as resetting my entire PS5. While I have backed up game files, I've lost my entire archive of screenshots and vidoes that I have collected over the years which is pretty devastating. And it was for nothing. I don't get much time to play the game so when I finally do it would be nice for a game you spent $100 on to actually work. Can you confirm this only effects teambuilder online dynasty modes? At least I can start a non-teambuilder meanwhile and hope it doesn't crash? My championship contender grade has been dropping each week despite not losing, having the highest blue chip % by far, and being #1 in the polls since week 0. It makes no sense. EA_Kent PATCH HAS SIGNIFICANTLY hurt recruiting. Some of your YouTube lackeys claim it's how it was originally supposed to work but let's review the results. Oregon, back to back championships, some of the highest possible My School ratings. Prior to the update, signed 30-35 recruits every year including about a dozen early ones. Top 10 class every year with 4 top 5s. I've finished 2 season since your patch. Both times, less than 5 commits until the very last week, lose about a dozen recruits where I was a large #1, and this year only 21 recruits was the final number for a #18 rank. I am getting false start penalties non stop if I get within 10 seconds of the play clocked ending & do a hot route & it never fails I get a false start penalty before I can snap the ball. It added 15 yards worth of penalties on to a 3rd down try in a very close game. That is very unrealistic...I was on the road at Bowling Green. I mean I wasn't even at one of the toughest places to play & that was happening. That is a bug that needs to be patched. We want realistic play & that is not realistic at all. It happened in CF25 as well but no where this much. I don't want to cut false starts off in the dynasty settings. So, I am in my 4th season with Kansas. I have a Jr running back that is 83 overall and just signed a 5-star freshman RB that is 82 overall. I decided to have the freshman be my starter. However, during games I will get maybe 7-10 carries with him before he disappears for the rest of the game and the backup becomes the main running back. I’ve gone into my depth chart to switch things around and move the Jr backup down the list, thinking maybe they are doing it because he’s 83 while the freshman is 82. Well, instead of them putting the freshman back in, they just have the 3rd and 4th string guys that I moved up to the 83 overall guy’s spot and the freshman is still a ghost. Can someone tell me what’s happening and how to fix it? So I am starting my 3rd dynasty because of this and I don't really know how to fix it. Everytime I set up divisions and protected rivalries it will mess up teams schedules. For example I changed the SEC to 9 games and set up divisions to protect rivalry games but now it took away all the SEC ACC last games of the season. For some of the players that we are able to edit, primarily the AI Gen players, their styles revert back to their original ones. When I edit one player’s styles (ball carry, run style, stance, etc…), it reverts back once I exit out of my dynasty. Wear and tear has a good concept but is completely over exaggerated. My half backs are set to “keep fresh” and autosub out at 90 stamina and by week 3 my starting HB’s season pool is less than 25% at 12-18 carries/game. His injury, toughness, and stamina attributes are all 85+. I get that wear and tear is supposed to add realism and it could, but it should never be able to be almost fully depleted by week 3 of a season especially when your subs are set to the max “keep fresh” setting. While playing my online dynasty, my game keeps crashing after about a quarter and a half of gameplay. My game was just fine until the update before the newest title update. I deleted the game and reinstalled it and it's still doing the same thing. I've never had crashing issues up until now. CAN YOU PLEASE FIX IT! For context I'm in my second full season, 6th game on the road at Oklahoma with my Teambuilder created team on the PS5 Pro.
