Game Crashing [Info Requested]
Hard crashes in menu and had it crash in play now right on the intro. This has happened since last College football 25, I am on an Xbox Series X. [CM - updating thread title and tags for clarity and visibility] update- issue still exists but what worked for me was trading in Xbox Series X I had gotten last year for an Xbox Series S haven’t had any crashes personally could be something with certain years of Manufacturer of Xbox Series X’s causing the crashes, my old console last year on CFB25 crashed even after the supposed fix, I hope this helps for people not getting any traction from EA, I know it’s not ideal but my faith in an actual fix is probably lower than 0%.Can't import Active Roster or TeamBuilder to Dynasty
This happened to me last year and it never was fixed. It's happening again in '26. I can't import active rosters to an online dynasty, or inport a TeamBuilder team to it. It just gives me an error that EA servers can't be reached. However, if I import active rosters to an offline dynasty it's almost instant. In addition to that, I can't use a TeamBuilder school for high school in road to glory. The status bar never fills and after several minutes it says server error. It's only every with an online dynasty or trying to import teambuilder teams. I've downloaded the teams, I can use them in Play Now, but that's literally it.An Open Letter, re: NCAA Football 26
Dear EA, I'm writing this after my 35th+ attempt to complete a single game in NCAA Football 26. I've tried everything - different teams, game modes, saved files - and yet, every single time, the game crashes during gameplay. I am one of THOUSANDS experiencing this issue. For me, the pattern is consistent: the crash always occurs during a deadball situation - timeouts, between quarters, or after a play ends. Not once has it crashed mid-play. One time I was able to get deep into the third quarter, but I had to simulate the rest of the game just to avoid another crash. I’m convinced if I hadn’t simmed, it would’ve crashed again. In Year 2 of my offline Dynasty, after 19 attempts, I'm finally 1-0. 15 attempts later, and I'm still 1-0 because I cannot get through my second game of the season. Year 1 went completely smooth. During the offseason, I brought in 25 high school players and 10 transfers. As an invested fan of the game, I spent hours changing the names and gear of every single high school commit (I never touch attributes). Gameplay outside of the on-field experience has been solid, with no major issues. However, the core of the game is PLAYING THE GAME! And it's clear the gameplay is broken and no one is communicating any solution on how to fix it. Let me be very clear: I bought this game to play it, not sim my way through seasons. Right now, I physically cannot finish a game. EA_Kent and any other EA representatives: You owe the community a direct response. This is a widespread issue. I see others reporting it. And still - it's radio silence. It’s disrespectful to the loyal fans who waited over a decade for this franchise to return, to those of us who pre-ordered it before the 2026 release, and to those of us who spend their hard earned money on a product that they cannot enjoy. This matter deserves regular updates! This matter deserves information! This matter deserves an apology! And I even believe this matter deserves some type of compensation (gamer points, a discount towards a future purchase, something). Trust is broken with one of the most passionate fanbases in sports gaming and the lack of information and is incredibly frustrating. I'm not asking for the impossible. I'm asking for transparency, accountability, and a timeline for fixes. Acknowledge the issue. Communicate your progress. And please-don’t gaslight our community by pretending this isn’t a real and repeated problem. We paid full price for this game. At a minimum, we deserve the ability to play it. EA, fix this. I am trying to play a game on my online dynasty. Approximately a minute in I lose connection to ea servers. No other connection losses and can immediately reconnect only to attempt to play and servers to drop again. I have checked my connection and have plenty of speed. *Reset Xbox as well as shut down and unplugged *Restart router *shut down app *check for game and Xbox updates *cleared MAC address
CFB26 / EA Games Crashing
I'm making a fresh post as it seems EA_Kent , EA_Darko have stopped responding. Xbox Series X Gamertag & EA Account: Retropyro Game crashes to dashboard constantly. Now and then it will shut off the console. This only ever happens with EA made games, never any issue with Call of Duty, GTA V, Delta Force, Halo, Rainbow Six Siege etc. Xbox Series X. Fix attempts I have tried: Delete and reinstall the game Delete saved data Delete profile and readd Clear Alternate MAC Address Delete persistent save data Static IP (already done) Port forward DMZ Console cleaning (done by professional) Redo thermal paste (done by professional) Replace power cable Replace HDMI cable Use different profile Reset console Factory reset console Add external fan Remove expanded storage Move game to expanded storage Delete all games off internal storage except CFB 26 Turn off game capture Turn off auto updates All the above have failed. Looking to have the power supply replaced, but I don't want to spend the $125 to buy one only for it not even be the issue as the issue seems to be software. Would love to see some from EA fully acknowledge the issue. If it is something that is still being investigated, let us know. Give us a weekly update just to let us know. If you can't replicate the issue internally, I will gladly let you take my console for testing (so long as you send me one of yours to use while you test)Teambuilder Logos Not Working Properly
So i spent a couple hours doing my teambuilder team, it looks good on the site, but once imported into the game all my logos are very small and duplicated. This also happens to the field logos as well. Anyone else experience this or have a fix? Ive attached some pictures so you can see what im talking about. i’m in my second season heading into the playoff and the game won’t allow me to spend any energy points on desperately needed health recovery. Tried starting game to “automatically apply points to health” but still started the game without any recovery applied. Currently heading into the semifinal looking like the glass bones guy from spongebob. I guess a tragic late season injury is part of my character arc?College football 26 issues
I would like to start by saying I am very pissed at this game. I wanted it to be everything ea marketed it as but it’s just not. There were some quality of life improvements and some graphic improvements but that’s where the positives of this game stops. The gameplay is extremely buggy and feels extremely numb. The CPU difficulty is OP and broken to say the least. You can have the best roster playing against the worst team in the country and still loose because the cpu is just that good at knowing everything you are doing and knows perfectly how to stop it. Blocking, tackling, and playing any sort of defense is garbage. Great offensive lineman are getting beat by sub par defensive ends to get straight to the running back/quarterback on nearly every play which is just really unrealistic. Tackling and playing the pass is so numb it makes me want to quit playing the game. The short version is that ea’s frostbite gameplay engine they used in this game need to be thrown out and replaced with something that actually works. Content creators get flawless gameplay while normal people get a really crappy game. I have been playing this game for about 3 to 4 days now and it has left me pissed beyond belief. Currently I have been experiencing a lot of gameplay crashes where I will be trying to kick a field goal and as soon as I initiate the kick nothing happens except the whole team just starts attacking each other and bugs out to where I have to restart the game. All in all very very disappointed in the game and pissed that ea has taken about 10 steps backwards in a game that was supposed to be so much better than last year. I imported by 2025 team, spent hours making some updates, saved, submitted, but every time I search for it/preview or download, I get this error. Every time I go to my sharings and try to download it, I get this error. This is very frustrating, and I just really, really hope the only solution isn't to completely rebuild this team from scratch. Please help. Please. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER!!!
