Hi everyone, I wanted to get the Razer skin in BF6, but I had a problem linking my Steam and EA accounts. All my progress is gone. Now I'm entering BF6 at a certain level 1, and the problem I need help with is that I can't unlink my account until June 14, 2026. Note that I bought BF6 on Steam. Unable to Appeal Ban or Change Email, No Help from Live Support
In December 13th at approximately 2:30 PM (local time), my Battlefield 6 account was wrongfully banned. I want to clearly state that I have never used any cheats, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software. The only reason I use a network accelerator (commonly referred to as a VPN) is due to severe network connectivity issues in my region—this is solely to achieve a playable and stable online experience, not to gain any unfair advantage. When I tried to submit an appeal, the EA support system told me I couldn’t create a support case. After discussing this with other players, I learned that this issue might be related to my email address ending in @163.com. It appears that EA may have flagged or even blocked accounts using such email domains as “high-risk,” which prevents users from opening support tickets. I immediately tried to change my account’s email address to a @gmail.com address, but the website wouldn’t allow me to do so. Over the past few days, I’ve contacted EA Live Chat support multiple times using a secondary account, but every agent has refused to assist me, citing only “security reasons” without offering any further explanation or solution. I want to emphasize that I fully own and control this account. I have complete access to the registered @163.com email inbox and can provide any reasonable verification requested—such as purchase receipts, account creation details, or login history—to prove my identity and legitimate ownership. This is the first time I’ve ever pre-ordered a Battlefield game—and in fact, the first EA title I’ve ever pre-ordered. As a student, I’ve invested all of my limited weekend time and what little allowance I have into this game. Now, EA is telling me that my account—originally registered back in 2023—has no right to appeal a ban, simply because of the email provider I used when signing up. In summary: To appeal, I need to switch to an email domain that EA doesn’t block—but I can’t change it through the website, and live support refuses to help, hiding behind vague “securitySolved7Views0likes1Comment

In early September 2025, my EA account was compromised by an unauthorized account. This hacker linked their steam account to my EA account, a steam account that had lifetime bans issued to it for Apex Legends and FIFA/FC games that date back to 2023. I have never been issued a ban on any EA game whatsoever, but am now unable to play games I have purchased due to this hack. I also cannot unlink the unauthorized account because EA does not allow banned accounts to be unlinked. For about 3.5 months now I have continuously appealed the ban and explained the issue with evidence, such as my log in data that shows unauthorized login attempts from different IP addresses, and a specific timeline that details how I was able to play FC25 right before this hack transpired, proving that it is not my account that is banned. I believe it would be very easy for EA to confirm that I was playing these titles long after the bans were issued to this unauthorized account. However, my appeal is denied every single time and I never am able to get in touch with anyone regarding this issue. I have spent hours with live chat advisors and have taken every step they have told me to, but nobody is willing to actually take a look at this issue. Hello everyone, I got a year subscription of EA on my PS4 to play F1-24. Then i decided to build a Sim rig with a PC. I have Steam installed in the PC and the accounts are linked but it is asking me to pay for the game and not letting me play it under my EA subscription. Can someone please guide me on what it is that I am doing wrong? It is my understanding that the EA membership can be used along multiple platforms but you lose the progress. I have a Chinese Steam account linked to my EA account and I can't unlink it to link my steam account the Chinese account has been banned playing Apex through my account with hacks or something, therefore not allowing me to unlink it myself. I've had multiple EA support people through chat say they would help if they had the power because they can clearly see it's not my account, now I have done an appeal but obviously just got peeped at and declined. I usually play EA FC 26 on PS5 using my PlayStation Network (PSN) account. I recently bought a ROG Ally (Xbox/PC platform) and linked my EA account with my PSN. However, when I play EA FC 26 on the ROG Ally, my PS5 account progress (Ultimate Team and profile) does not appear and a different account is shown. Why does this happen even though the EA account is linked? Does EA FC 26 support cross-progression between PS5 and PC/Xbox?
