[PS5] Dragon Age Inquisition World Timeline Doesnt Recognize New Character
I'd recently started a brand new inquisition playthrough on ps5 and I made it until I recruited Mother Giselle to Haven, then stopped to wait for the keep to be restored. Once it did I created a new character, but for some reason the timeline of the game doesn't recognise that it's a new character and should be "reset". Right after the first cutscene where the title screen is shown, npcs and the advisors immediately start talking as if I had already met and recruited mother Giselle. The tranquil that helps Minaeve is talking as if the mother was there when it's empty space and when I talk to npcs like Flissa or the Templar woman at the entrance of Haven they don't recognise it's the first meeting and go into their default starter 'Yes?' or 'Can I get you something?' When I get to the hinterlands the requisitions don't start from scratch, they start from where I left off that first character. I've already deleted both of those characters, started a new one, deleted and reinstalled the game and then created one again and the bug persists. This is really frustrating and is ruining my entire playthrough. What if this persists beyong the hinterlands? It would ruin the immersion completely. Anyone had anything similar? I have a disc version and I do not want to have to buy anything again.
Is the keep down for console?
I'm on PS5 and I've just tried to import my keep save to DAI a few times but each time I boot the game up it just says default world state. My connection is fine, my accounts are synced, however in the keep it's saying my world state has been imported but in game it has not. I don’t know what to do, please help.
I have Dragon Age II Standard Ed. How do I get Legacy and MotA DLC on EA app?
On the game page in my library it says "Standard Edition", I want to play Legacy and Mark of the Assassin DLCs. But I see no way to get them on the EA app. When I click Manage Add-ons it just shows Black Emporium, High res pack, and Promotional Pack. DLCs doesn't show up on the search either. How do I upgrade or buy the DLC? I tried this page but when I run the downloaded app it says DA2 needs to be installed. But it is installed. Help please
DLC Code Redemption Error
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a sealed Dragon Age: Inquisition Prima Games strategy guide off eBay, and I've been attempting to go through the redemption process for the promo DLC (mount + ring). I was successfully able to redeem the code on Prima Games' website (which tells me that the code was valid and unused), but the code that Prima gave me to redeem on EA is not working on the EA website or in the EA App. It seems to recognize the DLC correctly when I type in the code, but every time I try to add it to my account, I get an error message saying "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later." I've attached a screenshot of both of these messages. I did contact support and they were unable to resolve the issue due to the code not coming from a trusted retailer, which I cannot do anything about. However, I can prove that I own the product, both physically and digitally on Prima Games' website. I'm not sure if the issue is that the code is 10 years old and has some kind of expiration date, but there was nothing about that on the card inside the strategy guide. I did see someone had a similar issue back in 2017 (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/Dlc-code-Recognised-but-not-working/m-p/5868853/highlight/true), so maybe there's just some problem with this promo. If anyone knows how to help me, that would be amazing. Thanks!
Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition PS3. Bought new sealed game. Extra content?
Just bought this. The 12 digit code for the Signature Edition is accepted on the ps3 store but then when trying to download it, I get the following message: " The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid Please check your entry. " There is no expiry date on the code and when entering the code on the ps3 store.i get the tick icon next to it. Playstation Support told me to contact Bioware via their website. Bioware's website told me to contact EA. Photos are attached showing the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Dragon age the veilguad deluxe edition
I bought a physical copy of dragon age the veilguard deluxe edition. For the deluxe part you get an extra code that gives you game content. I first tried the code through the Xbox Microsoft store, this is normally how it works. But the Xbox says: there is an error try again later. If I Follow the intruction that goes though microsoft.com/redeem sort of same thing happend. What am I to do now? How can i redeem the code? The box says made in the EU and I'm in The Netherlands so it should be the correct region. Help!
Dragon Age Keep Not Working – Can't Receive Verification Code to Log In
Hey there! Since Dragon Age veilguard is coming out soon, like many other players, I'm replaying the whole series. Unfortunately, I'm having issues with Dragon Age Keep – it won’t work for me. When I try to log into my account, I enter my email and password, and then it says it’s sending a code to my email. But that code never arrives. I’ve tried several times over the past few days, and still no luck. My email and password are correct, so I have no idea why this is happening. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is there a way to submit a support ticket to EA about it? I can log into my EA account normally, and in that case, the code comes through just fine to my email, but for some reason, it's not working with Dragon Age Keep. :-( Any help would be appreciated!Game will not detect controller
I load the game, it will not detect that I have an XInput controller connected even though I do - it's a dualsense connectes via USB C. I have checked with other utilities and it's being read as an XInput device, I am not sure what is causing the issue. I tried with an Xbox Series controller and same issue occurs. Please help, I'm trying to get through this game ahead of The Veilguard but it's not easy going when I'm getting tech issues like this...
Problem with German Ultimate Version of DAO
Hai everyone, I recently bought a german version of DAO ultimate edition to have access to the dlc's Because i also own a single edition of DAO in english. But i can't get the dlc's from the ultimate edition to work with this english version ? So now i was wondering if this is normal or if there is any workaround to let this work ? Buenos días, El juego se me abre con normalidad, le doy a nueva partida, selecciono personaje y raza y me aparece la pantalla de carga con las tres cartas, pero luego se sale del juego y me devuelve a Windows. ¿Alguien podría ayudarme? I’ve been replaying Dragon Age II and I’m nearly to the end of act one. I went to Gamlen’s house and triggered the conversation between him and Leandra about the estate and then spoke to Carter about it, he says let’s go, but the quest isn’t showing in my journal or on my map regardless of it being night or day and going to darktown changes nothing. I’ve also gone back to old saves to try to trigger it earlier with no luck. I’m playing on pc and wondered if anyone else has experienced this.Keep not working
Character limit but my 2nd account I had custom State on is not syncing in game Edit: I started playing 2018 on PS, I didn't know I had account so made new one in 2023. 2nd account uploaded World State perfectly fine. Just finished playthrough today. Now a new State is not syncing. I am confused on where my achievments are, golden nug data, etc. Bc no achievements on account 2. Original account only has 6 year old default State. I just want to play this new World State, it shows synced on the Keep but making a character syncs 2023 State.
[EA app] DA:O Ultimate Edition DLC Not Showing in game
DLC / add-ons not showing up ingame in Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition I'm posting this so anyone facing similar problems might have use of the info. So in preparation for Veilguard I wanted to replay all the other games, starting with Origins Ultimate Edition. I downloaded it through the EA app, which said everything was downloaded and ready to go. I booted up the game, however none of the DLC showed in the Downloadable Content menu, neither as available nor ready. I thought it to be a visual bug, but pressing new game did not allow me to choose between Origins and Awakening. Thus began my search for a solution. I tried all the stuff with repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling, going through and copying addins.xml and offers.xml. None of it worked, though the EA app clearly showed that all add-ons were installed, even though it was not present in the install folder. This lead me to think that the problem was not with the game but with the app installing it. Luckily the first thing I tried with the app worked. I went to the hamburger menu in the top left corner and then Help and App Recovery. Then after restarting the app it clearly showed DA:O UE being intsalled, and by managing add-ons it showed that none were installed, and I was now able to install them all one by one.[PC] Flickering Red Statistics Bar When Comparing Items in Dragon Age
When comparing items in dragon age, I have a visual glitch in the statistics bar, when an Item reduces some of the character property, the reduced ammount becomes red, but it keeps flickering instead of a static red color. I'm running the game on a pc with the following specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB 16 GB RAM DDR4 WINDOWS 11
console command button problem
I'm sure many here have experience the frustration of accidently press the console command button by accident in the heat of battle, and seeing your character suddenly not responding to command aside from attacking. I look around the internet for a permanent solution to the problem. But I haven't found it yet. The best I found is press the button again to exit the console. Well I think I found the solution. But it's rather crude. My solution is that I pry off the tilde button and cover the hole with tape. I don't use the tilde button, so this solution work for me. But aybe there are other who use it regularly. Well tough luck.
