EA App opening itself constantly on MAC
Why is this an issue that I constantly have to deal with. The EA app enjoys verifying itself often and constantly through opening itself while I'm not even interacting with it nor any of its games at all. I can and will be doing anything else, ranging from scrolling randomly on the internet about animals to watching a movie, and it enjoys disturbing the peace by doing this. Why is this a thing? Why is this something the app can do? All by itself as well? The only way to actually make it go away quickly is to put it down with activity monitor on the mac, and half the time it has the audacity to make me enter my password as if it's some kind of high-admin task and potential risk I am performing. You are not my settings, EA, you're a horrible app that honestly acts like a virus 90% of the time. Stop this, and never do it again, preferably.Solved424Views0likes1Comment- 369Views0likes1Comment
Plants vs zombies 2 main problems. What do you think?
2 ana problem: 1. Android

Glitched behavior: The EA App opens itself when I close a game that is published by EA Expected Behavior A: The EA App never opens unless I expressly tell it to by explicitly clicking on it in the app list or on my desktop. Expected Behavior B: The EA App at least takes into consideration whether or not it was the install method for the game and use that fact to NOT OPEN ITSELF as much. Example: I have The Sims 4 installed via Steam, not the EA app. Because The Sims 4 is available in the EA App, the EA app will open itself when I close the game, even though the EA app has nothing to do with me playing the game, but was a forced install I did not want or ask for upon installing the game (because EA stands for Evil and Annoying) Pople have been reporting this glitch for YEARS, and it wasn't a problem on Origin. Fix it, literally this second. I'm sick of this stupid app, and I hope whoever made it gets fired for being bad at their job.Solved619Views0likes1CommentFPS counter - old topic
I know there are older topics about this, and I have posted about it myself. Couldn't find where it is and hasn't been mentioned for a while (as far as I can see), So: Is there any plan to add an FPS counter at some point? I think I know the answer, but thought I'd give it another mention. First request was when Origin was replaced by the EA app, quite a while ago. Other than that, I have to say I am now very happy with the EA app. Haven't had any issues for two years now. Plus, it's fast, and the "repair game," function which I use often as a verify game files tool is very useful. I've never had a broken game, but like to verify frequently as a preventative measure. It works well. Finally (forgive me for mentioning this again), I don't recommend purchasing from one platform which links to the EA app. (or any other app for that matter) For example, purchase on Steam which then links to EA app. It may cause problems as using two launchers for one game adds an extra layer of potential strange problems to happen. If I see a game I want on Steam, I close it and purchase directly from the EA app. One launcher, one game. Not a single problem since I started doing that over two years ago. However, this is just my opinion based on one issue ages ago which was caused by launching Steam, which launched EA app, which launched game. Got it sorted and it's probably the exception rather than the rule, but it just seems good sense not to add extra steps to get to a game.SolvedGawgPorkChop5 months agoRising Vanguard524Views0likes3CommentsMy career nationality issues
The fact that you can select a nationality for your players and not even have the chance to play for the national team isn’t fair. I grinded on my player for a good bit just to not be able to play. There should be an option to change it! Maybe a one time option? Or at least state when choosing the nationality you won’t be able to play for the team. Just really sucks!Solved459Views0likes1Comment- 564Views0likes1Comment
