Battlefield 6 purchased in Steam is not displayed in the EA App library.
I bought the game by pre-order on steam, everything works, I can log in to play, but there is no battlefield 6 app in the EA app, I cannot receive the veteran's award and other awards.Steam and EA app are linked to each other, I tried deleting the apps and installing them again, it doesn't help. There is no such problem with the EA 25 purchased on steam, and it is displayed correctly in the EA app. I did what the employee advised: reinstalled the EA app, Use the built-in EA app recovery tool , I see Star Wars purchased on steam and need fo speed also purchased on steam Only battlefield 6 purchased on steam is not displayed in the EA app. 5 EA employees with whom I chatted could not solve this problem and the only thing they could advise was to post it on the forum.Solved101Views0likes7CommentsSIMS4 PC Playing history GONE!
I logged in to find the last two years worth of playing has vanished! I get to the main menu, and it only lets me play "scenario" or create a sim. I spoke to the chat team and did EVERY trouble - shooting step. ( i did every step over 3 times! - My pc has not changed. I deleted the app, reinstalled , repaired.. Did their " file change suggestion" and still all my history from the last 2 years is gone! - Nothing has changed, no firewalls etc. I can see all my add on packs etc. However, it will not load or show any previous game play. The rental houses are not there. The household is not there to play. It has all just vanished...... Has anyone had this happen to them????7Views0likes0CommentsGames Bought On Xbox App Not Showing Up On EA app
Hello, I recently purchased Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II through the Xbox app. However, when I open the EA app and check my library, neither game appears. In the Xbox app, the only option shown is the Ultimate Edition for each game, but I am not able to download them. Instead, I’m prompted to either purchase the Ultimate Edition again or subscribe to EA Play/Ultimate Pass, despite already owning the base games. I have confirmed multiple times that my Xbox and EA accounts are correctly linked and that I am signed into the same account on both apps. At this point, I’m unsure how to access the games I already purchased. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.6Views0likes0CommentsRegion problem during payment
I'm trying to subscribe to the annual ea play pro plan so I proceed and put all the correct card info and that I don't want the card to be saved, I tried 3 cards The first card was a uae issued international Mastercard and I put the region as uae and it proceeded to pay then got hit with the "wrong region" message, I readded the same card but with the region set to Egypt as if it'll fix the issue and still nothing happened and the transaction is halted by the same error Then I tried paying with 2 Egyptian local visa cards and put all the correct info and region is set to Egypt so it's local and still the same message halts the transaction. I changed my account's region from uae bcs it was the country I set my account in to Egypt where I'm living rn and still also nothing changed when I tried all 3 cards, it's becoming frustrating tbh and I hope anyone from the ea support team gives me an actual guide on how to fix this Thanks in advance8Views0likes0CommentsEA Game Versions
If I have two versions of a game, one license on Steam and the other license from the EA app. Does it give me the ability to choose which platform to download and update the game? For example: I have Battlefield 2042 on Steam, but it does not give me the option to buy the EA Version or even download from the EA app stating that I should manage the game from Steam. So what happens if I redeem a EA app version of Battlefield 2042 alongside my Steam licensed version? Does it add a EA app version of the game, does it merge both licenses giving access to both platforms, or does it reject the license because I already have it on Steam? I tried this with Starwars Battlefront 2, I originally had a EA App version of it, and I also have a EPIC Games Store version. Upon installing the EPIC Games Store version, it changed my Battlefront 2's artwork cover adding the EPIC logo on top of it in my EA App library. It allows me to download either from the EPIC Games Store or the EA App, I did not even need EPIC Games Store installed because it recognises my EPIC version even without the EPIC Games Store being installed. Now from what I undestand Steam manages it's own installation and updates, where as EPIC required the EA App to cover the backend installation. If I did not own an EA version of Starwars Battlefront 2, then would that mean I would only beable to initialise the installation from the Epic Games Store and not the EA app exclusively. If you can not manage multiple platform versions, then this really should be looked at by either allowing the individual to select between EA App, Epic or Steam. Additionaly, I also want to point out that the inability to change the games artwork to remove the Steam or Epic logo is also rather annoying. EA App Artwork: No Logo identifying the EA app version. Steam and Epic Artwork with Logos identifying the version. But what if we own two versions of the same game on different platforms, what happens to the artwork in your library?KreigAnth3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer162Views0likes4CommentsEA App Linux
Hi everyone, Back to gaming after fairly busy time (two or three years). I've still been following the advances in gaming at least a little bit; technology is progressing rapidly in all sectors. Today, we can even launch a rocket into space and have it land in the same spot several hours later... And you can even find the SpaceX code on GitHub in collaborative mode... So I'm returning to gaming without any fear, as I didn't even ask myself if it would be a little bite complicated to install a poor application launcher (we're talking about the launcher and... not even the game itself). Naive as I am, once again, EA Games is plunging us into the Stone Age, where we still have to perform 10,000 perilous manipulations before even succeeding to install on linux a poor application launcher... in 2025? Hey, is there someone at the helm of the sinking ship? Crash in progress ;-)Solved86421532456 days agoSeasoned Novice1.2KViews2likes7CommentsHow can I make the EA App launch library tab by default?
Hello, In the old Origin app I could select the option to launch the Origin app Library by default. But here as you can see the Library tab does not open by default and there's no settings within the application. Instead it is the Home tab with the store that launches in the background. I would like only the Library to open when launching the EA App like how it was before with Origin. Even Steam lets me open the Library by default. Any help will be appreciated.BLaZiNgSPEED7 days agoSeasoned Rookie3.1KViews6likes18Comments- OARX814 days agoNewcomer14Views0likes1Comment
payment methods for Egyptians
Due to the currency crisis, most credit cards now have limitations on USD payments. Additionally, EA ignores virtual credit cards if they don’t match the account’s region, making it even harder to make purchases. As a result, many of us have no choice but to buy games from other platforms or third-party sellers—who are often rare and charge higher prices.so I was wondering if anyone has found a workaround or alternative payment method? Or is there a chance EA could address this issue?Levmz714 days agoSeasoned Newcomer219Views3likes4Comments- Fr0styNL21 days agoNewcomer25Views0likes0Comments
Games have been removed from my account?
Subject: URGENT: Missing Games and Purchased Add-Ons EA Support, I am reporting a serious issue: several of my legitimately purchased games and add-ons have been removed from my account. Most notably, Dragon Age: Origins, including all purchased add-ons, is no longer accessible. I still own the original Origins and Awakening discs, and I purchased every add-on directly. I am also missing add-ons for other titles, including the Mass Effect series. I was told these were linked to a different account, possibly an old Xbox Live account. This explanation does not make sense: these purchases were made before Xbox Live was ever linked to my EA account, and the Microsoft account in question was only closed last year, long after the purchases were made and used through EA. I have invested a significant amount of money into these products, and losing access to them is unacceptable. If this issue is not resolved, I will have no reason to continue using an EA account or purchasing EA products in the future. I need my games and all associated add-ons restored immediately. Thank you.Solved58Views0likes1CommentMy EA wont open at all
