Double Points?
Usually the last week of the Mayor’s contest is double points (was previously 4 weeks, now 3) is this not available this season? I have 6 days 13 hours left on the season so this is the last week right but as far as I can see points have not increased - or if they have it’s not double… am I missing something?Solved120Views1like5CommentsUnlawful Advertising
EA, The past couple of weeks we have seen advertisements in the gaming platform for Simcity Buildit that according to Federal and our Sate law is illegal and it violates those laws. What are we talking about? THC products. We have contacted the in-game help to alert them about this. They have sent a reply saying: "we will make a detailed case for this and send to the appropriate channels". Just like all of the other issues we have let them know of - and nothing ever gets accomplished. So we will use this forum to get these ads removed. Each of the Federal and State laws (that we live in) state: you cannot use TV, multimedia, and/or a platform that involves minors to advertise on. Plus if an ad is allowed there, it has contain a warning about the side effects and or health related issues. The ads we have seen in SCBI do not contain these warnings. So take this as a notice to remove these advertisements or we will report our findings to the appropriate authorities. I have a doubt that I've posted to EA Help Service. Surprisingly, after having explained it three or four times (they pretended not to see the question), they said it was understandable to have this doubt, but they couldn't check it or take proof on the game to inform me.... So if EA is unable to explain if buying (with real money) a booster is useful or not, I can only ask the players. Please let me know if someone here knows the answer: In the game they offer to buy different boosters to increase in 50% the amount of cat and dog coins we can get. But for each coin there is the possibility of buying the weekly booster, which would apply only for the present week, or to buy the season option which will last until the end of the season. I thought they were excludent, and the season booster would be the same as buying the four week boosters appearing along the season, but a bit cheaper. So I bought the season booster. Surprisingly the game still offers me to buy the week booster, so I have the doubt if it's a bug in the game (not cancelling the weekly booster once you bought the seasonal one), a tramp for idiots like me (you buy it again and it does....nothing!!) or if maybe the 50% increase of the week booster would sum up to the 50% increase of the seasonal booster I already have, and they would do together a 100% increase of coins (which I think it would be THE ONLY WAY to achieve 225.000 cat tokens needed to upgrade the pet amusement park). I think I have a legitimal right to know it before buying it with real money, and that information should be clearly explained in the game, but EA has decided to make it all a mistery and obligue us to risk money for nothing. I've looked for that info everywhere in the game and in forums and I found anything. I've asked the EA Help Service and they failed to help (Oh, surprise!! They only help you wasting time). I don't recommend to ask them about anything. They never never never say anything. My only possibility is finding here someone who has risked to buy both weekly and seasonal boosters for the same coin type and who knows if they increase 100% the initial amount. That is my question. Hi everyone, Recently, I encountered a technical bug with the Mayor’s Contest Wheel. This glitch caused my account to be flagged incorrectly, and I’ve been placed in the "Isolator Server" (banned?). I can no longer see the normal Global Trade HQ or participate in Club activities. EA Support instructed me to use the in-game "Contact Us" feature to submit a ticket. They stated this is the only way for the technical team to access my data and fix the bug. However, the "Contact Us" button is stuck on a perpetual loading screen. I’ve tried switching networks, clearing cache, and reinstalling the app, but nothing works. I even tried looking for the old 「simcity-buildit.zendesk.com」 portal I saw in YT, but that site is now defunct. Has anyone successfully loaded the in-game support page? Are we allowed to use Forums to invite other clubs to merge with? Lots of players have dropped out after 2.0 and we’d like to merge with a suitable club.. Connection issues after update 1.65.1
For WAY over a week I have had to CONSTANTLY restart my game. Having connection issues with train/com/depot server. Resuming game also fails to load and I have to restart. I have lost out on buying items, completing assignments, and interest in continuing the game. Reinstalling the game does NOT help any of these issues. This is on IOS. Not sure if Android people are having these problems as well. I know you are a small indie company and probably generate less than 100,000 a year on this game...oh wait. Indie companies actually fix their issues and compensate their players for time/issues. Will we see this happen from EA? No *snip* WAY! In the latest update, the daily task for sending trains in the Mayor’s Contest is not being counted. I send the trains, but the progress doesn't register. Please fix this issue. Don't know if this is fully a bug or a ridiculous design flaw (hard to tell these days) but you can store services acquired in the Maxis shop or awarded from event tracks, etc... ... except water services. I've now lost 2 water buildings using them on blueprint challenges thinking the 1st one was a one off glitch or a misunderstanding on my part. If it's a bug, I want the water items back that I spent seasonal currency on. Another services bug is emergency services saying they're not covered when they were and no buildings have been upgraded. But if I move a residential out and back in again it says covered. I'm a new player, and my problem is with the current Mayor's Pass (Super Service 3). I'm currently at level 38, but my level has stopped increasing before the weekly cap. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't spent money to use the premium Mayor's Pass. I've checked other players' levels, and they're all stuck at level 38, while one player using the premium Mayor's Pass is at level 45. Why is it impossible te earn maxis headcentre in cityalbum because 8 months ago I did not earn egyptian hospital? This is sssooo stupid EA. 2 of my team members were removed from the club involuntarily, presumably by EA. One has rejoined after I sent an invite, but his team challenge points are zero. What is going on here? Can their points be restored to the team totals? Normally if someone leave of their own choice the points stay in the team total. Gameplay is fine for 45 seconds and then there are 4 brief freezes during an 18 second period. This started when Mayor's Pass Super Services 3 began on February 18, 2026. This has been repeating non-stop 24 hours a day since the season started.
