Nike Event 'Collect the Bearings' Challenges Are Impossible
Seriously EA, enough of the "frustration is fun" crap. I literally cannot get through a single line of 'collect the bearings' in the Nike event. I think the biggest issue is the forced restart if the player falls off the board. If you can't even get to the end of the challenge by not even attempting tricks, then the challenge is literally impossible. I believe there are many gamers who do not want to sit and try to do the same thing over and over, hour after hour, without any successful completions. Frustration is NOT FUN. Allow the player to get back on the board, if even for just a couple of times per run attempt (like you get fall off the board up to three times before the attempt is forced restarted to the beginning), to at least make it somewhat possible (and dare I say enjoyable) to actually play the challenge. I can't even figure out where all the bearings are in the map of some challenges because of the forced restarts. Above all else, try to remember that FRUSTRATION IS NOT FUN.Skate board customization
Honestly like the game overall, plays well, with plenty to do. I think when it comes to board customization there should be multiple save slots. This would make it so you could easily switch boards set ups through the menu. Same could be added for clothes but not as necessary since it’s a lot easier to get free board items than clothing.Can't even play the game anymore
Hi, I'm trying to play the game for two days now without being able to connect to the servers. When I launch the game on my ps5 it says "Isle of Grom" which is the last place I was before closing it a couple days ago, then the game crashes. I bought the season pass and I can't even play the game now, I tried every thing I could. Even deleting the game and downloading it again doesn't work. It's a shame because I'm enjoying the game, put money into it and I feel betrayed in some way. I can't progress my season pass or the daily tasks.Skate.Pass tickets not adding to my account.
I’ve done countless challenges and my tickets have stayed the same. I didn’t realize it until I was on the dramatically difficult challenge at the NikeSB area. I finally gave up and completed 4 out of the 6 tasks on it, but noticed my tickets didn’t change. Also is when I accepted the few tickets I earned and ended the challenge, it shows I have done no tasks on that challenge. Decided to try again and got 3 out of 6 complete this time, ended the challenge for it to show the same thing. No tickets and no progress in the challenge. I don’t even realize how much time I’ve wasted trying to 100% a challenge, just for me to complete every tasks, end the challenge and see no progress was made AT ALL. I get other skaters are dealing with other issues, like not even being able to play the game, so I wasn’t even going to complain. So I closed the Skate. game. Opened it back up, started and 100% a challenge just for it to not give me any tickets again. It’s happened in the past, but I was ready to get off the game at that point. But it is aggravating considering what they want us to pay for this game. I paid for the season 3 pass, I would love to complete it and unlock every item. Hard to, when the game is working against me.
San Van Bucks Glitch is still here…
Had the problem a couple months ago and it got resolved after a month of posting and messaging devs. After the resolution I decided to buy upgrade from basic to deluxe founders pack, as thanks and in order to buy the adidas pack that came out and others (additional presets/loadout, clothing cosmetics, etc.) Which left me with 550 SVB, with the rumoured SB NIKE update I planned to use this and buy some SVB. But when it came I looked at my SVB and it was 350 short and looking at my locker the vans bucket hat was bought. Must of happened similar to last time, when redeeming items from legacy pass. Honestly, you should just add a refund option. Either a 24hr duration after bought or 3 to 5 max refunds per season/lifetime. I still plan to purchase the SVB for the SB Nike event, but this needs solving ASAP. TLDR: last time it happened issue was resolved but it had happened and again, there’s needs to be a better alternative for these issues such as a refund option.
Hedgemont's Plaza needs love
Hartcore Plaza is one of the first major areas of San Van that new players will see. In my opinion it really needs a rework I never see anyone cutting clips here, I rarely do myself, and that's because it's just not very interesting. If I had to give some pointers for a rework, I'd say have a higher number of smaller elements, rather than a low number of fairly large elements. Make the planters lower down, shrink banks, and change the X in the middle to be something else consisting of smaller elements. I'm aware someone out there is going to think there's literally nothing wrong with this plaza, if you're that person just don't bother commenting
Face Scans?
I hear the occasional complaint about everyone’s character looking the same so I think face scanning could solve that issue. Like most other sports games today face scanning is a standard feature, but only few games let the player import their own face, look at NBA LIVE or NBA 2K for example how they’ve had companion apps that prompt players to scan their face using their phone camera and it will upload in game. Maybe EA could somehow bring this feature to skate.
Ive been left out of XP or hasn't registered
I have been playing for quite a long time. Beta Tested multiple occasions yet I seem to be missing out on EXP. My friend recently started playing and has caught and passed me on levels. We mostly play together and Co-Op all the time. How is this possible?Need some new hats and durags need to be added
“We’d love to see a broader range of headwear styles to better reflect real-world fashion and player identity. Adding different types of hats, durags, and bomber-style caps would give players more freedom to customize their look and represent their style. This kind of variety makes characters feel more unique and keeps the experience fresh.” And if y'all do decide to add this plz have different versions of drags and colors some that's rolled up at the back and some that are not would be really nice
Skate. causes GPU to crash on launch
When I try launching skate my GPU usage goes to 100 percent then crashes, which causes my monitors to restart. When the screens finally show my desktop again; skate is windowed, unresponsive, and showing a white screen. I then have to go into task manager or steam to close it. I was able to run the game perfectly fine before the update, I have a very capable computer so I see no reason this should be happening. Sometimes it works and I get into the game, but that's only once every twentyish attempts and I find myself gliding during challenges. Everything is up to date on my end, is this an issue with the game? I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well as verified the game files multiple times. I tried that AI 'Next step' bot thing and it didn't respond after I told it my issue. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?
Implementation of local text chat.
Why not include a local text chat feature? This would greatly improve the game's community interaction experience. It would make everything much more interactive and fun. This idea, on the other hand, would make players more engaged in the game; few people use voice chat, but many would use local text. Often, even true friendships could develop within the game. Developers, please consider this option. 😄
Bearing Line/Speedline Tweak
I think the collection size for this needs an increase. I feel it's too small as there are times where I'll ride right by them and they don't trigger as collected. Plus it will give a little more freedom to skate how I prefer versus dealing with the rigidness of the line.Loot Boxes Locked
I went to spend Rip Chips at the store and realized that all of the boxes have been locked for me. I've already purchased a majority of them, but even those are currently locked. I still have the items I've purchased beforehand, but cannot spend any Rip Chips currently due to this bug.
