Nose Height Slider No Longer Responding
I noticed that the nose height slider (up and down) quit working, but I have no idea why. I have zero issues with any other CC, all of my other sliders are working as they should. The only thing I updated today was Tmex's BBB. I've removed all sliders from my mods folder, tested with half and half, tested with 1 or 2, redownloaded all sliders, tested on already made sims and a new sim on a new save game. I'm lost and confused as to why just one slider won't work. I've googled if there is a slider limit just for Sims 4, could not find any information (only for Sims 3). I have 117 sliders, but just the one is having issues now. I need some ideas to try - apart from removing all of my mods, since everything else is working fine. not able to enable cc and mods after the update
I recently updated sims 4 after not playing for some time. I also updated all my mods. I then started my game like usually and clicked to enable cc and mods again. I applied the changes and restarted the game again but when the game opened again, it says that they were disabled because of the update and the checkmark at enable cc and mods isn't ticked even though I did it before restarting the game. This happens every time. Whenever my mods folder is empty, it works but otherwise it doesn't. I have already repaired my game but it didn't solve the problem either. i can’t place any furniture in my houses

I cannot for the life of me, find the "My Downloads" folder that the site apparently sends the files I want to download. I have looked and looked but cannot find a folder marked "My Downloads". So, I googled it and found that there's a folder in "My Gallery", that is marked "My Library". Well, I can't find either of those. Main household won’t let me play
Can someone please please help me I had a major problem recently with my sims 3 folder being synced with my one drive which btw totally ruined my game. I had to do so much work to fix my game after one drive decided to duplicate and put deleted files back into my computer/files I finally figured out how to get rid of it completely and now my files are stored locally on my actual laptop. I restored my current saves and mods after that and made sure all my mods are up to date which they are. Well now I’m having trouble with getting my main household to load. It forces me to the worlds screen everytime I try to play as that household. Idk what to do.l next. I really don’t want to start a new save and lose my previous town or sim. I have been using better exceptions to find the issue and resolve it still nothing. the new pack “Life and Death” does not appear in the game
I pre-ordered the new pack and then downloaded it. My EA app shows that I own the pack. I can also see it on my Mac with the other packs in the folder. However, the new world does not appear in my game. However, I get the notifications from the festivals in Ravenwood and have the new objects in build mode (but without the little symbol of which pack they are). I also can have my Sims create a bucket list on the computer and carry out the soul journey. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled everything. UI is absolutely destroyed post life and death pack
I can't even make a sim in case cos it won't let me add traits. It barely let me even add a profession without it glitching out then becoming borderline unplayable. Is there a way to fix this and is there anyone else dealing with this issue??? Messed up buttons?
After the recent patch, any time I have mods on, all the buttons mess up and don't display correctly. IE: the backgrounds of the buttons shift about, the confirm and cancel buttons are just mangled to hell and back, and sometimes the actual symbols on the buttons just don't show up at all. I'm planning on finding any outdated script-type mods and deactivating them (thx mod manager lol), but idk if that'll help or if i have to get rid of all my pre-22/10 mods (or even get rid of everything except MCCC). Not Such a Huge Update?? Huge Consequences - Puzzling!
OK, so most of us know that yesterday's patch was BRUTAL on mods, and people said a BIG update was coming. But according to the patch notes, this patch seems kind of small, or maybe medium. I can't yet see HOW this patch affected, like, MOST mods from this list https://simsvip.com/2024/10/22/broken-updated-mods-life-death-ep-patch/ I know that these things don't always make sense, but I seem to recall that they used to, as far as I could tell!! (I took a 4-year break from TS4.) So ... does anyone know why this update caused all this mess??? It really seems to me that it was a limited update NOT affecting this many systems. Game won't load with any mods or CC
My game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen when all my mods and cc are installed. I have tried doing the 50/50 method to find a mod or cc that's causing this but anything I put alone the game still goes through an infinite load. I recently took a break from The Sims and decided to go on a CC haul. Upon booting my game and getting to the menu screen, everything is COMPLETELY broken. When I say broken, I mean the screen is super glitched out, and I can't click on anything, or exit the game. I literally have to use task manager to close the game out. Since I've had a similar problem with More Columns and The Color Sliders before, I figured it was possible those mods were causing it, or that one or multiple of the mods I had just acquired were breaking my game. I deleted the More Columns and Color Sliders mods and used the Mod Conflict Detector to fix any dupes/conflicting mods; which did nothing. So I updated all my mods that I knew needed updating (only CC since I don't use/have script mods), and still nothing. I then decided to try removing all the mods I'd just gotten since I figured it could have been one of them that was causing it. And STILL....NOTHING! So then I went and removed ALL OF MY MODS and IT WAS STILL BROKEN.I also tried repairing the game and verifying the files, which still did absolutely nothing. I am beyond frustrated that with every update the game just breaks more and more. I updated The Sims 4 two days ago and since then it won’t let me play. I can’t get past the main menu and nothing I click on works, I can’t resume a game, create a new game, open the gallery or settings, I can’t even exit the game. I’ve already had previous problems with the UI from the last update but this is just worse. Library is missing some of my room files
So for this year i have been saving pictures ive taken ingame of my sims to a blank wall / room and saved them to the library to keep backups since i take a lot of pics (plus i still get the black photo bug when putting the pictures in a keepsake box etc) and after updating my game i went to do it again and noticed in my library that all of the rooms that had saved pictures are now missing completely even if i toggle the include custom content icon. Ever since I updated my game, some of my playable Sims that I've created keep disappearing. I remade a few households yesterday, but when I saved them, they disappeared again. This us in the sim inventory screen if that is of any help and all the NPC sims are unaffected. Has anyone else come across this issue or can help me out, please. Game broken due to mods
Hi, the newest update broke my game as well and I wanna share how I fix it cos it took me so many hours and this could help others who use CC. I have too many Mods, CC installed and so many of them are broken now. After update all my Occult sims was disappeared and had all kind of science fiction glitch I never seen before. The reason was the script "Occult stabilizator", after removing it that was fixed. Next I had problem with households, some of them couldn't load. The house in bild mode was ok, I could enter but not the live playing households. I figured those unplayable have something in common so I downloaded and installed Tray Importer and I save all my unplayable households in the gallery to check them trough Try Importer. Ofc, they had so many CC such as makeup, clothes, body pres, and update messed some of that. I deleted all my broken mods on households and after that, they was playable. How to use Tray importer can be found on YouTube. I think my biggest problems was mods with Body shapes so If anyone have that, remove it. Also, you need to check for all instaled scripts in Mods folder cos they are mostly the main reason for broken game - as I said at the beginning; my problem was Occult stabilizator. How to search for scripts in mod folder can also be found on YouTube. I also installed Sims 4 Mod Manager and started to use it in order to help myself with searching for broken Mods. Update causing infinite loading
Since the update any save I had before the update is unplayable. I can get into manage worlds but as soon as I try to play my current household it won’t load me in. I can load up other households in the save but not my played households. I can also make new saves and play in them fine, it’s just the old ones. I’ve taken out all my mods, deleted the cache, repaired my game, did a fresh sims 4 folder but none of it has fixed it. I saw that some people who had this issue had lot challenges (specifically off the grid) but they’re not on any of the household lots.
