Should I change my creator name?
Hello, everybody. I have a couple (sort of) of questions. And I thought this forum might be the best (if not, please let me know and I will move it). Should I change my creator name? What content would people want the most? I've had the name LolabelleSims for quite some time now, but I haven't really done much with it. I have a Tumblr and a TSR page, but that's about it. For a while, I was active on Sims 4 Studio as Fwecka, as well. My point is that I'm not well-known, but I am somewhat-known, if that makes sense. I'd like to really do more with my stuff. I'd like to have a name that people know, and...LolabelleSims. It's a silly name! Not exactly professional. (Plus, I think there are a couple of creators out there with similar names.) The name Lolabelle carries meaning for me — it was my daughter's nickname. She passed away 11 years ago. And she is why I'm hooked on Sims in the first place! But does the name work if I want to appear professional? I don't know. What do you think? As for content, I love, love, love gothy/vampire-ey things. The drama of it. But I also like cutsey-Kawaii things, too. But I also love romance (lace, rosebuds, etc.), too. But I also love high fantasy (as in Lord of the Rings, Skyrim, and Witcher) type of stuff, too. But I also love period items (the 1700s, the 1800s, the turn of the century), too. (I'm talking about European and American styles. I would happily provide content from other cultures if it's something people would like.) Do all of those genres? Some of them? None of them? CAS only? Build/buy only? Both? (I want to do both.) Bonus questions: What else do people like to see on a creator's Tumblr page (or whatever site a creator would use)? Tutorials? Do people enjoy gameplay shots? WIP shots? What about WCIF? Would that make it worthwhile to visit a creator's site? I would provide what you want and what you would appreciate. Bonus another question: Is it better to stick with one type of thing? e.g., just shoes, or just hats, or just lamps, as DOT did for Sims 3 at TSR. I would rather widen my range, to be honest, but it's not about me. I want to know what matters to you. Please share feedback!LolaBelleSims3 days agoRising Traveler13Views0likes0CommentsLooking to get back into the community - advice?
Hi everyone! I used to be active on the forums back in TS3 days. I've been playing plenty of TS4 over the years, no doubt about that! But I've been looking to do more and maybe get back into the community. I thought maybe I could start here to see what's up these days! And I do have a few questions I'll start with: Where we at these days? I was mostly on the EA TS3 forum. I know we're not super thrilled with EA these days. Are people still hanging here or elsewhere? Is Simblr still alive? I think I lost my Simblr account but was thinking of making a new one if the activity is there. I haven't even been on Tumblr in a decade+ so not sure if Tumblr is even active these days lol #eldermillenial I used to do Sim Stories back in there and thought I might try my hand at a machinima. I've seen a few people doing them but haven't researched it super thoroughly yet. Do people enjoy these? Where are the best places to put them? I'm guessing YouTube is the most obvious answer but wasn't sure if they were shared / cross posted to forums or anything. If anyone has advice with starting one, I'd love to hear! I am familiar with mods and poses as I did a lot with those in TS3 days, too, but any other general technical/recording/editing advice would be great! Lastly, is there a big market for Sims content on Patreon? I don't have a reliable steady income, so I'm always looking for ways to supplement a little, however I can. Most of the creators I see on Patreon are making mods and cc, so I'm guessing that's where the money is, but I can't make mods or cc. I figured I could probably do a Patreon or Ko-fi for a general support but definitely wouldn't rely on it. Just figured I'd throw it out there in case any one had advice in that area. I'm not a content creator / social media influencer and never had luck with that so it's unlikely I could go that route for a side hustle xD That's it for my main questions! I appreciate any advice you have! I look forward to being a part of the community again :)Skwittlez5 days agoRising Newcomer28Views0likes0CommentsThe Sims Medieval through Steam
I was repeatedly told by EA support to post this issue in the forums, so here I am. The Sims Medieval will either crash immediately or run as a background process through Steam no matter what I do. I've tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and Windows XP v 3, I've tried using Powershell to run it through CPU 0 and CPU 1 only (it will not apply to TSM.exe no matter what I try), I've tried running everything as an administrator, I've tried a clean boot with zero programs running- nothing works. I've been told that the "concern team" will reply to me here, so please advise. I bought the game only ten years ago and wasn't expecting it to be completely inoperable by now, especially with all the troubleshooting I've done. I tried activating my CD key in Steam (again), in the EA launcher, and in the Sims 3 website, but I haven't had any luck with activating a "fresh" version of the game, if anyone's wondering.PiderSensei18 days agoSeasoned Newcomer29Views0likes0CommentsEA App will not launch Sims Medieval
Title speaks for itself. The app will not even open the game, it simply reverts back to itself. I have tried a few different compatibility modes and running as administrator. OG Sims, 2, 3 and 4 launch fine.nualla_610918 days agoNew Veteran65Views0likes5CommentsSims Zombies
So I know there is a mod but I always thought that EA should make a Sims Zombies spinoff kinda like how they did Sims Medieval. This one would be years after an outbreak. Houses would need upgrades and repairs. You could board windows, repair vehicles, scavenge inside or outside of town, and skills would also include mechanical, marksmanship, gunsmithing, etc. I feel like there is so much potential for something like this.Mother_Phoenix19 days agoRising Newcomer11Views0likes0Comments- 0_Jassi_020 days agoRising Newcomer18Views1like1Comment
My Black Friday gift to myself..
It will be an interesting read, but it's an US recipe book, so most recipes use different boxes of cake mix and other different mixes that cannot be found anywhere else, so most recipes are useless for us who are used to cook from real ingredients.BylineBelife22 days agoSeasoned Ace26Views2likes2CommentsLet's break the Net, with this question

My computer is just dumb and refuses to run anything from that era due to some secure boot nonsense. Please kindly consider remastering the game for Windows 10 and 11. And MOST importantly, keep the amazing soundtrack! Don't touch anything else in game, just make it work on modern computers. Thank you!Win32KernelFile29 days agoNew Vanguard30Views4likes0CommentsSims Medieval missing from account?
I had The Sims Medieval and Pirates and Nobles DLC on my Origin account, and recently came back to find it's become "EA App" and the game is missing from my library. Trying to re-enter my CD keys in EA App refers me to the Sims 3 store page, but my keys are 20 characters long originally from Steam, not 16 characters for the form on the Sims 3 redemption page. It's ridiculous that I can't directly contact customer support lmao2954cc2560d545bc30 days agoSeasoned Newcomer43Views0likes2CommentsSims Medieval Disc Code

Thanks😅Solvedfloquens31 days agoSeasoned Newcomer41Views0likes2Commentsthe sims medieval is unplayable
so far, with every quest i've encountered, there has been a bug that has made it impossible to progress. made the mistake of decorating my own castle, because that made the messenger post UNUSABLE. got the responsibility to send a guildmaster to the stocks, had them there but the game didn't register it thus FAILING it. tried to marry my build master, but kept getting cold feet because i dared to NOT use the church despite the game telling me it was an option. somehow fixed that just to have my husband UNABLE TO COME TO THE CASTLE to consummate the marriage. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. the game has been out for over a decade and there's still bugs? are you not embarrassed?!? and to add insult to injury, the amount of time I WASTED trying to fix these problems, i've now played it past the hours allowing me to RETURN THIS ABHORRENT MESS to get my MONEY BACK. shame on you, EA. shame on you.swillify2 months agoRising Novice20Views1like0Comments- 2rkow5jpb4ro2 months agoNewcomer47Views0likes2Comments

Hello! I am currently taking a UX design course and I’m looking for Sims 4 players of all experience levels to share quick feedback on how you feel about the current UI and tutorials/onboarding. I'm analyzing what players currently like or dislike about the UI, navigation, and tutorial and how that may be improved. There are 10 questions and the length is about 5–10 minutes. Responses are anonymous — the link is below. https://uwmadison.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Kz5ojW1kqOHUYm Thanks! Goliath Games has announced a new card game inspired by the popular game series “The Sims,” featuring the iconic language of gibberish known to fans as Simlish. YaGoBuGi is a card-based game of real-time communication and negotiation where players must speak solely in Simlish based on the cards in their hands. It’s a rapid-fire game style, with no turns and no waiting, making for a game filled with silly conversations that sound just like the original games. “Simlish has always been part of the fun and laughter that make The Sims so special,” said Lyndsay Pearson, VP of Franchise Creative at The Sims. “Through YaGoBuGi, we wanted to bring that Simlish charm into a card game that’s easy to pick up, makes people smile and lets Simmers old and new connect over the language we all love.” https://www.giftsanddec.com/trending-gifts/kids/the-sims-fans-can-embrace-the-simlish-language-with-new-game-from-goliath/74Views3likes1Comment
