Ich habe mir am 01.02 Sims 2 installiert, ich habe festgestellt das meine Sims gekocht haben und sich dann zurückgesetzt haben und das Essen weg war. Unter anderem hat mein sim sich zurückgesetzt wenn er essen sollte, er konnte nur Snacks essen. Ein paar Tage später habe ich festgestellt das meine Sims sich manchmal verbugen und keine sozialen aktionen ausführen können, jedesmal wenn ich einen sim angeklickt habe, haben sie sich zurückgesetzt auch wenn sie von selbst zu dem sim gehen wollten. Später konnten sie auch nicht mehr zusammen in einem Bett schlafen da hat sich der sim der im Bett lag zurückgesetzt und der andere konnte trotzdem nicht ins Bett. Danach konnten die Sims auch nicht mehr techtelmechteln. mich hoffe euch hilft diese Information und hoffe das ihr es beheben könnt.
My Sims 2 file does not save
I bought the re-release of the Sims/Sims 2 game on the EA app. I was having a great experience and was saving regularly but, when load the neighborhood the next day, all my progress was gone. Can we please fix this issue before anything else? This is a loss of money for no reason.My sim does not cook or eat
Hi, I've had this problem recently in The Sims 2. I put my sim to cook and when my sim is finished cooking, the character resets and I lose the food I bought. When he manages to cook, then he can't eat and it resets again. It's causing me a lot of problems with the gaming experience.

THANK YOU EA for releasing the first Sims 1 and 2 games complete with all DLC and Windows 10/11 compatibility !!!! One of the best decisions you've made, I'm over the moon, you're bringing back my childhood memories !!!! A BIG THANK YOU <3 Unfortunately, I've noticed 1 big problem that are ruining my experience in the sims 2 game and I wanted to let you know ! : Customizable stairs do not work properly (not the predefined ones). When I put one, I can’t delete it anymore, my bank account is filled to infinity by clicking on delete. Secondly, the stair railing does not work very well at all, when I place several stairs, they do not remove, and when I place a ramp, the ramp is put on another staircase further and I can’t put ramps everywhere on stairs. It is very unpleasant and exhausting... That’s what I wanted to share with the EA teams, thank you for reading me. Have a nice day ! A Old Big fan of Sims 1 and 2, Lorenzo Pinello.
TS1 Imported Families Causing Game To Crash
I have old FAM files from years ago that I wanted to import into TS1 Legacy. I think the last time I played these files was probably around 2012/13. While I'm able to get some of them to load correctly and play them without issue, I'd say about half of them do not. Some crash immediately upon loading, while others crash when the welcome wagon arrives the next morning. I have to evict and bulldoze the lot and move them into a new household. It only seems to happen with these old FAM files, not the pre-mades or new Sims I've just created.

BUG 1 Thumbnails missing job/focus/school icons BUG 2 The Picture-in-Picture window is missing a close button, and a sim pie menu head may appear on it when clicking on something in-game, check out the video in the attachments named PIP BUG 3 The relationship panel lacks a button to scroll through sims, and the friend counter is grayed out, which differs from the original game BUG 4 In the official "Maximus" family by Maxis, there is a graphical bug - a gray void in various places. I guess it's a pool/landscape bug? It looks okay in Build mode but breaks again in Live mode, check out the video in the attachments named MAXIMUS BUG 5 Pools appear pixelated when zoomed out to 2x and 3x BUG 6 There are graphical artifacts at the seams of two-story buildings at 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 resolutions. Additionally, wall-mounted objects clip through walls at all resolutions BUG 7 After the latest update, there seems to be a bug with the new UI background stretching - it doesn’t apply to the panel that appears when you grab an object, causing the tiles behind it to be partially visible BUG 8 At resolutions higher than 1920x1080, the grass starts to resemble green linoleum, and the grid gains extra dots. Please keep both consistent across all resolutions, matching their appearance at 1920x1080, just like in the original game BUG 9 Please restore the original sim thumbnails. Families from the base game have an original thumbnail style, while families from The Sims: Unleashed and new generated sims have different ones. Make the thumbnails consistent for all families, like in the original game, focusing on faces rather than hats and accessories. It's confusing when sims with hats have smaller heads in thumbnails compared to others
Sims 1 LC - Windows Media Player possible bug?
I think there may be a bug with the intro video playing, as on my Laptop, I cannot get to the intro video at all and the game stays at a black screen. The only way I was able to fix this was to rename the intro video (this depends on your language, eag_us.avi is used for English) from eag_us.avi to eag_us_backup.avi. After doing this change, when the game still got stuck at the black screen, I pressed the Windows key, or Alt-Tabbed out, and the game minimized itself. However, once you tab back into the game, or select the Sims icon on the taskbar, the game will maximise and should proceed to the loading screen, although the load loop will play, the game may still be a black screen, simply wait until the game loads and it should hopefully display the neighbourhood view. If anyone tries this and it fixes the issue for them, please please please let me know! :D On Steam Deck for instance, I get a “Fixme: WMP” red screen but goes over to the load screen pretty quickly. This is a bug I believe with either Proton or Wine since Windows Media Player isn’t actually used for obvious reasons, so either program just does a placeholder to prevent crashes. (I can only presume WMP means Windows Media Player lol) I have however heard that installing it and using the codecs required will still cause a black screen, but the issue of the intro video not playing will most likely need a fix from the LC team, or possibly the user depending on what’s going on. I’m unsure as to what is causing the freeze atm. :)
Sims Legacy - Superstar Bug
My Sim is a 5 star celebrity, so he is eligible for Marilyn Monroe to come to his house and give him a Simmy award. Every time this happens, the graphics freeze just as Marilyn hands my Sim the award. The game seems to continue running in the background. I can speed up/slow down time via the keyboard and hear accompanying game sounds speed up and slow down. However, the graphics remain frozen at the moment Marilyn hands my Sim the award. If I tab out of and back into the game, it locks up completely and I have to force close. I'm not sure how to close the game any other way when this happens because the game doesn't really "crash," and I'm not able to blindly navigate the menu options. This also causes me to lose all progress since the last save. This has happened at least three times, both before and after Patch #2 was released on February 6.
Bugs
Just wanted to mention the bugs that bother me the most with the Sims 2 rerelease. Mostly, I can't be a witch!! It totally glitches out every time !! Won't complete the interaction and my sim never becomes a witch :( A new glitch that just started happening with the recent update is that my sim will reset every time they finish cooking a meal so I have to use cheats so they don't starve to death!! Very annoying. I expected it to be broken but I never had these issues in my original release.
Question for the devs
Would it be possible to setup test systems that match the systems that are having problems and run with an ai observing the data flow to identify where and how these errors are happening? Then human coders can use that pinpointing to correct issues? I don't know what I'm talking about but I think it makes sense.
