Looking for friends who love The Sims
Hi everyone, I'm Nina, 29 years old and I've played The Sims since childhood, but I'm new to this forum. The reason I'm writing this message right now is because I'd love to connect online or IRL with someone who also loves playing The Sims. I'd love to share my enthusiasm for the game and to share stories about our Sims games with each other. My gameplay style is playing with realistic households, I'm not a big fan of occult Sims. And besides The Sims I love being social, watching movies, helping people and being creative. I'm Dutch, so if you're Dutch that'd also be really cool, but no worries if you're not :) I hope anyone reading this would love to connect as well. So first off, I have the physical disk of this game and it seemed like everything went fine while installing. It updated after the install, launches the launcher, click play, then nothing. Tried doing the intel 13 patch and a notepad code that seemed to help others, but no luck. I've spent a few hours trying to figure this out but I'm not very tech savvy so I would appreciate any advice! I used to really love this game and enjoyed it enough that I got an external CD drive just do I could play it again! Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!

CAS System Bring DeepSeek-like AI system into the game, make Sims smarter. Make it intelligently create Sims through facial and voiceprint recognition. Make it a discontinuous voice slider (mid-value can be taken). Cancel Simlish and make it a variety of real languages, such as Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, etc. Add more interpersonal titles in family tree, such as uncle, aunt, cousin, father-in-law, brother-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, etc. Aging System Make it eight life stages: baby stage lasts 7 days (newborn stage lasts 1 day, infant stage lasts 2 days, toddler stage lasts 4 days), child stage lasts 7 days, teen stage lasts 14 days, young adult stage lasts 28 days, adult stage lasts 28 days, elder stage lasts 28 days. It is a total of 112 days. Each stage has at most three Zodiac Traits. The baby stage has only one Acquired Trait, the child stage has two Acquired Traits, the other stages have three Acquired Traits. Trait System Make it two types of traits: Zodiac Traits and Acquired Traits. The Zodiac Traits can be further divided into three parts, please refer to The Sims 4 Zodiac Traits. Make it a series of The Sims 2 style systems, such as primary and secondary aspirations, slot machine style wants and fears with the meter, good and bad memories, etc. Make each memory have a detailed date. Society System Make it three stages of society: Present Society, Future Society, Ancient Society. Make a world map with displaying year and month, make one year be 28 days, make one month be 2 days and 8 hours. Sims medieval can't install
I'm trying to install the sims medieval but installation fails at 96/97% every time with the below error: Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue I have tried running the vc redistributable .exe(s) from the install folder and repairing each but it isn't fixing the issue. I have also cleared the EA app cache and tried installing programs directly from the MS website
How long have you been playing The Sims (any version) for?
I've been playing for 15+ years and have played and transitioned to all versions 1,2,3,4. After playing all these years this game holds a special place in my heart 💗. It sounds corny but this game has been there with me through many different (some difficult) stages of my life and has been my creative outlet to get through some of these stages.
The Sims 5 vs Ananta
Hi, What if Maxis decide to mix The Sims, MySims, The Urbz, Need For Speed and Skate ? Imagine a life simulation with Anime characters with a vibrant world and exciting activities to do (car racing, skateboard, ...). This excitement is something missing in The Sims PC. Sometimes no need to be realistic if the design is good. I know that Ananta is a GTA-like game but it's a style of life that I would like to see in The Sims or maybe as a new branch of the franchise.
Sims medieval service initialization failed (0x0175d824)
I downloaded The Sims Medieval from the EA app but it won't open and keeps giving me "service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" error every time I try to launch. I've already tried: Changing resolution in options.ini Using alder lake patch Repairing through EA App Uninstalling and reinstalling Deleting TSM folder after uninstalling and then reinstalling again Using PowerShell to launch Changing in task manager to only use one CPU Running as administrator I have a 12th gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U, Windows 11, and I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop. I don't know much about computers so if any more info is needed please let know! I hope someone has a solution, it's so frustrating that I've spent money on it just for it not to work right out of the box. ☹️ Any help is appreciated, thank you! This feels practically hopeless.
Please bring back The Sims Bustin' Out – remake or remaster for PS4/PS5!
Hi EA team and fellow Simmers, I’d love to request a remake or remaster of The Sims Bustin' Out for modern consoles, especially PS4 and PS5. This was one of my first games as a child, and I have so many nostalgic memories connected to it. I remember the unique locations, quirky characters, and that special adventure-like feel that made it stand out from other Sims titles. Unfortunately, the game was only in English, and I didn’t speak the language well at the time — so I couldn’t finish it or fully understand the tasks. Now that I’m older, I’d love to replay it and finally experience everything as it was meant to be. Sadly, my old console no longer works, and the game isn’t available on any current platforms. A remaster or remake would be like a dream come true — not just for me, but for many fans who grew up with Bustin’ Out. It was such a creative and unforgettable part of Sims history. Sims Medeival wont save
I have recently gotten a new Gaming laptop so after installing the Sims Medeival won't save when i choose to save it comes up with error code 16 ive tried multiple times to fix it, By Uninstaling The Game And Reinstalling it, but nothing i have tried works does anyone know how to fix it because I love the Sims Medeival but I literally cant not play the game like thisBring back spin off versions of Sims
Growing up I absolutely loved playing The Sims but my fondest memories aren’t from the main game itself, it was from playing Sims Urbz, Bustin out, Castaway and all the other brilliant spin off versions of the game, they were absolutely brilliant and worth every penny. considering EA has just announced they will not be making a Sims5 when people have spent so much money on Sims4 already which is fair but I think this opens up the opportunity to create these spin-off versions once again as I know for a fact I would buy them just for the nostalgia on its own. This is something I strongly believe should be considered for future content!
