Sims 3 Medieval Won't Launch
So first off, I have the physical disk of this game and it seemed like everything went fine while installing. It updated after the install, launches the launcher, click play, then nothing. Tried doing the intel 13 patch and a notepad code that seemed to help others, but no luck. I've spent a few hours trying to figure this out but I'm not very tech savvy so I would appreciate any advice! I used to really love this game and enjoyed it enough that I got an external CD drive just do I could play it again! Anyway, thanks in advance for any help!Looking for friends who love The Sims
Hi everyone, I'm Nina, 29 years old and I've played The Sims since childhood, but I'm new to this forum. The reason I'm writing this message right now is because I'd love to connect online or IRL with someone who also loves playing The Sims. I'd love to share my enthusiasm for the game and to share stories about our Sims games with each other. My gameplay style is playing with realistic households, I'm not a big fan of occult Sims. And besides The Sims I love being social, watching movies, helping people and being creative. CAS System Bring DeepSeek-like AI system into the game, make Sims smarter. Make it intelligently create Sims through facial and voiceprint recognition. Make it a discontinuous voice slider (mid-value can be taken). Cancel Simlish and make it a variety of real languages, such as Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, etc. Add more interpersonal titles in family tree, such as uncle, aunt, cousin, father-in-law, brother-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, etc. Aging System Make it eight life stages: baby stage lasts 7 days (newborn stage lasts 1 day, infant stage lasts 2 days, toddler stage lasts 4 days), child stage lasts 7 days, teen stage lasts 14 days, young adult stage lasts 28 days, adult stage lasts 28 days, elder stage lasts 28 days. It is a total of 112 days. Each stage has at most three Zodiac Traits. Sims medieval can't install
I'm trying to install the sims medieval but installation fails at 96/97% every time with the below error: Error: The VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue I have tried running the vc redistributable .exe(s) from the install folder and repairing each but it isn't fixing the issue. I have also cleared the EA app cache and tried installing programs directly from the MS website
Sims medieval service initialization failed (0x0175d824)
I downloaded The Sims Medieval from the EA app but it won't open and keeps giving me "service initialization failed (0x0175d824)" error every time I try to launch. I've already tried: Changing resolution in options.ini Using alder lake patch Repairing through EA App Uninstalling and reinstalling Deleting TSM folder after uninstalling and then reinstalling again Using PowerShell to launch Changing in task manager to only use one CPU Running as administrator I have a 12th gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U, Windows 11, and I use an Intel graphics card on my laptop. I don't know much about computers so if any more info is needed please let know! I hope someone has a solution, it's so frustrating that I've spent money on it just for it not to work right out of the box. ☹️ Any help is appreciated, thank you! so frustrating having spent a lot of money buying the sims collection for only a select few of the codes to work. They've re-released sims 2, i have most of the collection but none of the codes work! So i'd have to rebuy them just to play it on the app. Money grabbing at its finest, they aren't very helpful on the chats either which is disappointing.Sims 3 on PLAYSTATION 5 and XBOX series X

Hello, fellow Simmers (and, hopefully, EA management)! So, I've noticed a recurring trend that the old 2003 PS2 game "The Sims: Bustin' Out" had been a source of many nostalgic memories for multiple players on the EA Forums. I haven't played it myself; in fact, I only went looking for gameplay footage of the game AFTER reading about it on the Sims series' official TV Tropes page. But from what I've read and seen of the game, I can see the charm it has, and even if it's a bit rough around the edges (and even THAT's to be expected for an old console spin-off of a series designed for PC), I want to say that it actually looks pretty good. I want to go play Bustin' Out and take the old twist of a Sims game with a story mode out for a spin myself, but the available torrent/emulator sites are a bit too sketchy for my tastes. So, I'm taking to the EA Forums to buzz this request into EA's ear yet again, for myself and everyone who grew up playing The Sims' wacky and edgy PS2 spin-offs. Could we please have a remake of The Sims: Bustin' Out? Preferably for the PC? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, GeraltsFace.

I just got a deep purple sweatshirt with electric green embroidered icons and a deep blue tshirt with the 25th logo. They are both so pretty! Growing up I absolutely loved playing The Sims but my fondest memories aren’t from the main game itself, it was from playing Sims Urbz, Bustin out, Castaway and all the other brilliant spin off versions of the game, they were absolutely brilliant and worth every penny. considering EA has just announced they will not be making a Sims5 when people have spent so much money on Sims4 already which is fair but I think this opens up the opportunity to create these spin-off versions once again as I know for a fact I would buy them just for the nostalgia on its own. Purchased a few days ago, I did all the basics, uninstall and reinstall, the repair the app offers. Tried the powershell script fix I found online which managed to get the game to launch, but not smoothly. The lag was so bad it was basically non functional (weird because my PC handles TS4 with every expansion and zero lag or even load time.) Tried to get a refund but couldn't, since it's technically been launched. I even tried the Alder Lake patch but that's a no as well. Any advice? Or is this just a lossBring in the Sims legacy collection over to consoles re-release of the Sims 3
It seems annoying for people that don’t have PCs and prefer games consoles cannot play this release of the Sims one and two you can even have on the store requires keyboard and mouse support for console also for the Sims three which requires a very high specification requirement on older Pacific operating systems And I played it on my Windows 10 PC a few years ago it run perfectly with all the add-ons for one day when I played it again it kept crashing into the desktop. It didn’t tell me why it just didn’t wanna run afterwards so I thought it would be easier for you to release a patch for the game and bring it over to console the Sims three I think it would be a good opportunity to release the game for consoles and the legacy collection for it as well Sims three is one of my favourites but not being able to play it because of this problem is really annoyingI can't seem to purchase the Mac version of The Sims Medieval
I have a Mac, and every time I've tried to buy The Sims Medieval for Mac, it's appeared as the windows version in my library. I tried purchasing the windows version instead to see if they were just labeled wrong, but it still showed up as for windows. What the heck do I do?

I'm just surprised EA is giving away something for free, and in this case, ALL of the packs (expansion, game and stuff) and the kits. Well made this thread so people can be aware of it. I'm shocked really.
