etiennegeorgi1 Your friend would need to be the one to create the case, (but not here, as bans can only be handled by the EA TOS Team).

My entire EA account was banned for the actions of another player.
My EA gamer tag is Hhedgy and as you can see in the attached evidence provided by EA for the reasoning behind my ban, it was another player who called me a slur but I got automatically banned.
I tried to appeal the ban as I did not say the slur or write in chat and the wrong person has been banned, but EA came back to me and said after reviewing the chat logs they will not remove the penalty.
I can only assume there must be a bug or a glitch in the Apex system relating to the chat logs as EA's own evidence supports my appeal in that I clearly did not write hateful conduct in the chat logs. From what I know of, bans won't be applied if it was just the other player who was being abusive in the voice/text chat, and if your friend hasn't appealed 3 times already, they can submit another appeal to the EA TOS Team.

I feel if a person, instead of a bot, in the ban department reviewed the chat logs, the evidence EA are supplying, and actually reviewed my case it would be very black and white that I should not have been banned.
Each ban appeal is reviewed by a real person, (although, they do use templates to help speed things along which is what's often seen as a bot or AI responding).

The worst part is as a gay female (massive minority in the gaming world!), it feels like I am being banned for being gay as the person calling me homophobic slurs instead has not been banned and allowed to keep playing.
Any suggestions - or is being gay and playing EA games now a bannable offence? No, being apart of the LGBTQIA+ community is NOT a bannable offense as EA is commitment to positive play:
