Constant [code:net] and [code:cloud] errors on PS4 (Ikeja Wi-Fi South Africa)
Hi EA Team,
I’ve been struggling with ongoing connection issues on Apex Legends (PS4) for the past few days. I keep getting both [code:net] and [code:cloud] errors whenever I try to connect to the game.
Here’s everything I’ve tried so far:
Restarted my router and PS4 multiple times
Checked PlayStation Network and EA server status (both are up)
My internet connection is stable — YouTube, downloads, and other games work fine
Switched Apex data centers (London, Frankfurt, Bahrain, etc.) — same issue
Logged into my router (HAP Lite – Ikeja60308 Wi-Fi) and enabled UPnP
Tried using a mobile hotspot — the game works fine there
This makes me think the issue might be with my ISP (Ikeja) or some ports being blocked that Apex needs to connect to EA servers.
Please can someone from EA look into this or confirm if there’s currently any issue affecting players in South Africa (Cape Town region)?
