My PC had over 150,000 kills and was 1000+ levels higher and yet console account overwrote my PC one
This has to be depressing. Good thing you're a streamer because they have to fix this or they will look super bad.

Hey folks,
For those running into the Disconnect: detected data mismatch error, we're currently looking into this issue. Thanks for the reports!
Just to follow up here, the Founder's content is considered to be platform exclusive, which is why it wouldn't transfer over.
The Frosthaven and Lifeblood skins being similarly unavailable seems odd and we've passed that along to be checked into.
I got cross progression, i connected and when i wanted to play it wouldn't let me. Please help!!
Hi @EA_Mako
Just to follow up the 2 aforementioned skins have appeared after a restart into both accounts
- @EA_Mako After the cross progress, my account was canceled altogether
Me too・・・
I want my account back.
Any update? I am having this issue as well and Im a truck driver on the go and cant play apex no more on the road
My PC account overwrote my Xbox account so I lost everything that was on my higher and better account.
please help ☹️ @EA_Mako

It looks like your Xbox account was only recently linked to this EA account. Was that previously linked to a different EA account?
We wouldn't have any ETA or additional info to share outside what's been posted on the Trello board I'm afraid. If you're already keeping an eye out there, continuing to do so will be the best bet.
Yes it was linked to an EA account that was level 1 that I never played on before.
So when I got the cross progression message I linked it to the right ea account.
nothing happened for 2 days until today when my pc account took over my Xbox account.

Linking your platform to a different EA account will result in a loss of progress. That progress is stored at the EA account level, not on the specific platform.
By moving your Xbox account, you've lost access to the content that was earned there, as it's still stored on the original EA account.
There is not a way to combine progress from two separate EA accounts, though if you were just wanting the Xbox progress back, you can look into re-linking your Xbox to its original EA account.
Please take a look at the FAQ here for more details: A Quick Guide to Apex Legends Cross Progression - Answer HQ (ea.com)
So if I relink my Xbox account to the original level 1 ea account, will the Xbox account take over that ea account and merge with that?
I guess I am just confused that even if my accounts were to have merged, why the lower account took priority and completely wiped my Xbox account progress just because I linked it to a new ea account.

Hi @JordieGz,
Since progress is never transferred between two different EA accounts, that Xbox progress wasn't merged to the one it's on now.
Your lower account took priority because that's the progress that was on the new EA account where you recently linked your Xbox, so that's the progress that would be used.
Cross Progression allows the progress from a single EA account to be accessed by any platforms connected to that same EA account. It doesn't transfer that progress to other accounts. So what I’m gaining from that is that regardless of what level I had on Xbox, if I were to connect it to any different EA account, its just going to take the progress from my PC ea account.
because even if I were to link my Xbox back to the original ea account, it would then make my Xbox a level 1 because that EA account was level 1 and that takes priority.
so what is the point of being able to merge if you are just going to lose console progress anyways, even if it is a higher account..?
This was a day 1 apex account I just lost so this is really upsetting.
thank you for your quick responses though.

Not quite, if you were to connect it to any different EA account, it would take the progress from that EA account, since no progress can be moved between EA accounts.
If you linked your Xbox back to the original EA account where you had unlocked everything, that would still be available to you.
The issue here was moving your Xbox to a different EA account, not that a lower account takes priority.
Cosmetics are available regardless of the highest level account, it's only your stats and certain badges that would be impacted by different level accounts.

Ok I’m understanding better now.
is there any way to link it back immediately so that i can get my account back now or do I have to actually wait until 05/16/2024 to do it.

I would definitely try reaching out to support directly to see if they have other options to assist with that re-link.
If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can take a look. @EA_Mako Hello, today I received an apex update on my console, I already have cross progression since I can play on PC without problems, I still can't play on my main console, which is an Xbox Series S, I still have the same problem, it doesn't load level or my name above my legend, derived from that I get that the group is not ready or asks me for orientation games. I'm a little confused because it's like my account is on an infinite load on my main console.
@EA_Mako Hello!
The first screenshot is my problem on PC.
The second screenshot is my problem on PS5 (464 level on PS5 account is wrong!! it was 620~ level on it) .
I confirmed cross progress 2nd November and still cant play(i didnt link/unlink anything).
EA ID: rayalko
PSN ID: rayalko
PLS help. Today`s update didnt help
Gotcha thank you!
When I connect it back to the original EA account, since all of my Xbox progress made was connected with that account, the Xbox account should then take priority correct?
so instead of level 1, with cross progression it will jump up to the level I am on my Xbox account.

Assuming your Xbox account was the highest level there, it would be used as the primary account for your stats/badges, correct.
Keep in mind that if that other EA account has not yet received Cross Progression, you'll still need to wait for that to be enabled but should be fine otherwise.
This is still under investigation, but you can keep an eye out for further updates here as well.

- @EA_Mako the focus of the matter is that on Trello it was written on Friday that the problem will be solved "in a future patch" so it was today and problem still there thats why i decided to clarify this, but thanks for clarifications
