Xbox Series X voice chat innop

Was playing a Duos match with my friend(on PS5) yesterday and in the middle of the match voice chat stopped working. Apex isn’t recognizing that my mic is plugged in but I can still hear in game audio, just can’t talk or hear my friend.

I’ve already performed a MAC address reset as well as a full series X hard reset to know avail. Checked all in game settings to verify.

My mic works without issue in other games as well as Xbox Party chat.

  • Hi @DionneJ Can you try to following to see if its picked up?

    • Update the controller's firmware
    • try another controller
    • Persistent Storage

      1. Go to settings Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray
      2. Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage

@EA_Illium Doesn’t even work in lobby. Apex isn’t registering that the mic is plugged in at all.

@DionneJ What type of headset do you use? Do you plug it through the controller, or wirelessly from the Xbox?

@EA_Illium Still doesn’t work. Controller firmware is current. Tried different controller. Cleared Blue-Ray Persistent Storage.
