To get started, go to the NVidia App and configure the following settings:
1. Set the refresh rate slightly lower than your display's maximum frame rate (for example, if your monitor is 144 FPS, but you set it manually to 140 FPS). This will eliminate lag and stuttering in the game.
2. Set LOW Latency Mode to ULTRA.
3. Set Power Management Mode to mostly maximum performance.
4. Disable Vertical Sync completely.
5. Enable Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization.
6. Enable Texture Filtering - Trinilear Optimization.
7. Phys X - your discrete graphics card (NVIDIA/AMD)
Second, launch the game and set the DISPLAY settings:
1. Competitive everywhere
2. Refresh rate - your monitor's refresh rate (e.g., 144 fps)
3. Full Frame Rate - Unlimited
4. Vsync - Disable
5. Render Scale - 100
6. Dynamic Resolution Target - your display's refresh rate (e.g., 144 fps)
7. Dynamic Resolution Scale - Disable
In the GRAPHICS tab:
1. Motion blur - Disable
2. Hair movement - optionally disable.
