Here are my ideas for the base game:
~ The color wheel
Having a ton of color swatches for everything is nice but a lot of things don’t have enough color options or variety and I would love them to bring back the color wheel in CAS / Build Buy mode. Maybe not on everything but at least on a lot of things. Being able to paint your own patterns on furniture in your home would be nice too. I also wish you could select your own colors for the two-tone hair styles instead of just automatically selecting the second color based on your base hair color selected~ Character height adjustment in CAS
Because why is everybody the same height? My sim’s wife is taller than him when she wears heels! I don’t like it~ Spiral staircases
We all want this.. No, NEED THIS PLEASE. A huge void for this needs to be filled, a must have for tiny builds and fancy apartments!!~ Pre-teen life phase
To avoid the awkward jump from child to immediately being a teenager. Also if pre-teens could show their occult sides likes teens can but children cannot. This would create more opportunities for storylines of young witches / mermaids / werewolves~ Usable cars!
Another thing we ALL want back that we miss from older sims games, would optimize fast travel and make it more realistic too instead of sims just vanishing in thin air~ Fix terrain issues
Multiple things can be said about this but I am specifically referring to when trying to smooth out terrain around your house and having a weird gap between the terrain and your walls of your home. I would love for this terrain to be flush up against the walls of the home without terrain leaking in.~ Fix disappearing items
I’m specifically referring to when you zoom in too closely on an item you’ve placed down from build / buy (I believe this issue is exclusively from the debug menu) and it vanishes until you zoom back out~ Why does my sim always wear a bikini?
This is a huge peeve of mine whenever I live on a beach lot especially but even when I don’t, if I have a pool on my property it is so common for my sim to just be running around the house in a bathing suit. I would love for my sim to not wear a bathing suit unless actively swimming or interacting with the water in some way, or lounging out within a certain distance of a pool / beach. - dbmcgrew1 month agoSeasoned Ace
I just remodeled another bathroom. This kind of a Walls View Mode would have been REALLY useful for placing mirrors, toilet paper holders, lights, etc. on the interior walls of the bathroom.

A couple things that I would like to see in Build Mode:
Kitchen passthrough to dining room – The closest I could get is to have matching counters on both sides of the wall, and then destroy (sledgehammer) one section of wall. But then the opening goes to the ceiling, which isn't the way passthroughs are really built. It would be nice to use one of the open doorways, and then put matching counters on both sides. But the space in front of a doorway can't be blocked.
Large bathroom mirrors – In a master bathroom (or even a regular bathroom where people groom themselves), it is common to have large mirrors above the sink. Sometimes the whole wall is a mirror, from the top of the backsplash to the ceiling. It would be nice to have larger bathroom mirrors, or even mirror wallpaper to turn the entire wall into a mirror, except for the part blocked by the bathroom counter.

Build mode:
- Easier way to place pillars on the outside corners of rooms on the second floor and higher for controllers and keyboard and mouse controls.
I am on xbox console, and I have played with a controller and keyboard and mouse, and I have the same issue where it's impossible to place pillars on some corners of the outside of rooms on the second floor and higher without it turning into a rubix cube puzzle. I end up having to do things in a very specific order, deleting parts of a wall temporarily with the sledgehammer tool to place a pillar and then replacing the deleted wall sections, moving a wall by changing the room shape and then place the pillar where I want it and then moving the room back to the way I want. Sometimes none of those solutions work and sometimes only one of them works. It makes building things very annoying and very tedious and time consuming when things become a rubix cube puzzle like that.
- All roof patterns available as floor patterns and all floor patterns available as roof patterns.
- Allow sims to swim in ponds created on lots with the landscape tool that are a certain deepness level.
- In build mode allow some sort of label or notification to let people know where a pond is usable for the natural living skill bathe in water interaction without routing errors.
I end up having to constantly test where the natural living skill "bathe in water" interaction will work for sims in ponds I create because their routing to do that interaction is very sensitive and doesn't work most of the time. Their routing for that interaction is so sensitive that it doesn't make sense and makes the interaction almost completely unusable.
- Spiral staircases.
For round walls, circle shaped rooms, better looking and more functional building types such as lighthouses and castle towers.
High school years:
- Option about which classroom that sims have classes in.
When I delete default sims living in worlds and in "not in world" to be replaced with my created sims to have a custom town its annoying when my played sim teen gets stuck in a classroom full of randomly generated teens created by the game that are in "not in world" and all of my unplayed created teen sims are in the other classroom. There are a lot of teen sims I created that can fill both classrooms fully, but a lot of them don't show up to high school classes and are replaced by randomly generated teen sims. I end up having to constantly purge the teen sims that the game creates.
- At least 1 more classroom for more teen sims to attend highschool.

open world or at least open neighbourhoods which means no loading screens when you visit someone/a lot, no rabbit holes (everything is active) and native hq support cause the hq mod doesnt work for animal textures and tattoos :(

More Ambitious trait
2014 Ambitious trait lacks of ambition, in 2026 there are a few other things to want :
- Fame ambition (EP06 Get Famous)
- Business ambition (Retail, Restaurant, Small Business)
- Dynasty ambition (EP21 Royalty & Legacy)

Justice & Peace
Activist (Politician career) can protest about :
- Economy aka "Simoleons For Everyone" or Tax "No Sim Left Behind" (Tax system in EP21 Royalty & Legacy)
- Environment aka "Speak For The Trees" (Eco Footprint system in EP09 Eco Lifestyle)
- Justice aka "Foundation For Less Mischief"
- Peace aka "World United"
So this universe need reasons to wish for Justice or Peace : Public Safety would be nice.
- Justice against Corruption : NPC townies with negative influence on others causing incivilities.
- Wish for a Peaceful environment : Graffitis, noisy music, ... all the incivilities that bother people (similar to apartment neighbor behaviors in EP03 City Living)

A New Pack Type?
I would love a new pack type that would be just a new world map. Either with empty or with some pre-built lots would be amazing. I'd love a new city map with legitimate apartments like the ones in San Myshuno; an alien map to make aliens more relevant in the game; a rundown abandoned looking map etc.

I posted the following in the feedback section:
Suggestion: New Walls View Mode
Basically, I'd like a new walls view mode somewhere between Cutaway (where all interior walls are invisible) and Up (where all walls are visible). For this new walls view mode, I'd like only the walls (interior or exterior) that block my view of the active Sim to be invisible. That way, the interior walls behind the active Sim would be visible, which would create better screenshots.
As a bonus, it would help when decorating the interior walls of small rooms like bathrooms.
