I've been doing the quests of this event and claiming my rewards until the last quest... I can't claim my rewards after doing the last quest released so far. I tried the 'claim all' button, tried to claim it in game UI and on main menu, tried to restart my game and try all of this again but nothing seems to work. I hope maybe when more quests get unlocked I can claim my rewards again. Does someone has the same problem as me or know a solution?In the screenshots below you can see I was able to claim the dish but not the book and the potion. Also rewards that go further than my progress bare are indicated with a yellow dot which I think means it's "claimable"? Is my progress bar not loading any further anymore or is the game showing yellow dots where it shouldn't?I play on pc btw.

Hi team - long time simmer first time poster and sorry if this has been asked before I have encountered a strange problem when completing the new discovery quest, it won’t allow me to claim things because it says online connection is required - started a couple days before the new pack was released and had been fine prior to that. I have restarted the internet, restarted the app, cleared the cache, logged out + in. What else do I do to troubleshoot? Playing on desktop using the EA app which does pop up with a connection error in the bit about connecting with friends, but I’ve been able to download the new pack and do updates just fine?

I'm having exactly the same problem. I can't continue with the event until I claim the new dining table but am unable to claim it because the game thinks I'm offline. I also don't have any mods. It wasn't working when I first booted my game, updated to the newest version and it's still not working :(

I've been playing the new event, and everything was going well. I haven't been able to play for the last couple weeks and now I can no longer claim my rewards because I'm "offline." When I go to connect, it's just an endless circle. I don't have any mods installed and I've repaired my game. This is extremely frustrating. Any advice?

Eeem24 This is the same for me. I’m on PS5 and from what I’ve been reading there are a lot of other posts so hopefully they see it and fix this. I’ve completed every single Sims event to date with no issues until now. I am losing my mind over not being able to finish and claim the outhouse and miss out on rewards - simply because the game is broken (that is its usual state, broken).I am connected to PSN so its odd. Also, anytime I’m not connected the game doesn’t work because they have to verify I own the game using licensing servers and if it can’t do that, then the Sims won’t even stay open it - force closes. So that’s not the issue. Have you found anything that helps? I did rebuild my data base and even re-installed the game. Nothing helped, but if I’m missing something and you managed to fix it let me know. Glad to know I wasn’t going crazy and this is common I suppose.

I have been trying for the last few days but cannot claim the event rewards for the new fairy pack missions. I managed to claim the first bunch from the first two weeks but now it won't let me. It is stuck as the 'nature soundscapes' reward. Unfortunately until I can claim the current rewards I cannot continue the next missions so will lose out on the free rewards. My laptop is connected to strong internet, I am logged in and my connection is available however it says 'please go online to save your event progress and receive rewards'. I have previously done this and the only difference is the new pack has been installed. Any suggestions please?

Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. Creators generally don't update mods just for temporary events.

I'm having the same issue it let me claim the crafting bench but I can't claim anything else. I even tried to cloud play and claim because it HAS to be online. It's really upsetting

This type of thing is common when the servers are overtaxed. It happens on numerous game sites, and database sites like Ancestry.

I'm trying to claim my items from Nature Event that is currently going on and I keep getting an error message stating Online Connection Required and underneath it says, "please go online and save your Event status to receive the awards' Well I really hate to say this, I've been online all the time when playing this game.
So what gives?

I've finished all the past quests & claimed rewards, yet I'm 5ep short of earning the wooden throne recipe which is still locked! Unsure how to unlock since the other quests were completed. I can't find how to earn 5ep more to unlock the recipe needed to finish. For attached pics: No mods, on PC, I'm logged into EA app, & this character is level 10 handiness already. I've logged out and back in multiple times now, nothing is updating, still stuck behind 5ep. I didn't see any Sims4 updates to download either.
I hope they evaluate how/why they do these quests because they always seem to have some issues...and I hope it's patched before the time limit they've set runs out.

Finally got my game working again (M4 Max Macbook)! Here's what I did, though I don't know which one in particular solved my issues:
Deleted the following cache files from my Electronics Arts/The Sims 4 folder: localthumbcache.package and avatarcache.package
Restarted my game and changed my wifi source to my phone hotspot
Went to Game Options -> Other unchecked the box for "Online social features access", hit apply. Rechecked it and hit apply again.
Voila! Access to my Gallery again and access to the quest, along with claiming all of my event rewards. 💚
