I am playing the stuck in their shadow quest line in the sims 4 and I cannot go past the part where it asked me to ask a sim about their career. I have tried asking multiple sims and I have also tried greeting the sim, moving to a different lot, then asking about their career but it doesn’t acknowledge that I have asked the sims about their career.
I just played through the scenario as well and did not even get a part where I had to ask another sim about career.
I'm having the same problem. I've tried multiple Sims, multiple venues, moving around and there is no "likes and dislikes". The ask about career is under "interests". Have you gotten a resolution?
10/20/2025 After posting the above yesterday I started a new game using the same scenario & tried making different decisions from the ones I made the first time around. And it worked just fine. I finished the scenario quickly and easily. I don't want to tell what decisions I made because I don't want to spoil it for anyone else. Since yesterday and today are the first times I've ever posted in any game forum I don't know if there are direct or private messaging capabilities or even if they are allowed. If they are I will answer privately anyone who wants to know what I did to advance the game. But I no longer think the scenario is bugged, I think the decision tree branches off to no where under certain conditions and that actually makes me like playing scenarios a little more.
