The fall of Apex Legends
Hello readers, this post is for the devs and also for the community itself. So a little background on myself, I've started to play Apex in 2019, a bit after the game officially released, and I fell in love with the game, it is my favorite battle royal game till today, but since the game came out a lot had been changed, once the game became available on Steam, something has changed, and don't get me wrong I love the idea that I could play Apex through Steam, but there was a problem, I couldn't link my EA account to Steam because it was already was linked to a Steam account that I've deleted because I didn't want to use it anymore, and from that day on I decided to stop playing Apex Legends, just to add up, I did talk with the support, and they said there's nothing they can do since it's only one time linking. And since I stop playing I've started to see that everything went worse, from cheaters to the company being visibly greedy and splitting the season pass into two different seasons to buy, canceling in-game currency, deleting people's progress because they didn't log in to their account for some time, which I think it's messed up, and I didn't even check my account that has a lot of OG skins and Heirlooms, but honestly I don't really care. EA, if you want the game to survive listen to your community and stop messing around. And for the Apex players, don't invest your money in a company that see you as their customer, invest in a company that sees you as an investor of the company. It's not a hate post, just words that have to being said.
Anyone else feel like the new event is underwhelming?
I think the heirloom skin fits mirage well but the mode just feels like a mashed up LTM from other stuff that they fixed up in 5 minutes, also for f2p players you can't even get some special packs using event currency, I like more often events but not if they're gonna be done like this.Abandon penalty
Please tell me apex why for the umpteenth time I have been errored out of my game and yet you still give me a penalty for leaving which I can't control. I and sick of this **bleep**. Been a player since season 0 and yet you still can't get this **bleep** figured out. You have tried multiple times with failure always on the horizon. I don't understand how any of you have a job still. You have pushed so many people away with bugs in your game yet you still ask for people's money. Sorry but this game has officially died and everyone is ready to move on from you. Fix your game or get rid of it.Apex Crashes If I Go over 149 FPS...Direct X 12 Issue?
Ever since the direct x 12 update, I can't play apex at max mode, I have it capped at 149fps If I set it to unlimited or 200 fps it will freeze when the game gets intense, which was never an issue prior to switching to direct x 12 i have a intel 12900 and a 3080 When I say it crashes, well it freezes, so I have to close down using task manager Could it be my computer issue or is it a apex issueApex Legends cheaters stopping me from spending my money on the game!
Okay so you're probably wondering what I mean by "stopping me from spending my money on the game". What I mean is that the second main reason that I don't spend any more money on Apex Legends is because it feels stupid giving money to a gaming company that poorly manages the cheaters in the game. Why would I spend my hard earned money on a video game that charges me anywhere from 10$ to 300 freaking dollars for a skin in the game. Are you kidding me?! You guys have had over 6 years to take care of the Strike Pack and Cronus Zen situation. If you guys decided that you wantvto allow people to use these cheating devices, then why don't you just make an announcement encouraging people to use them. Let me tell you something that should mean the world to any investor, employee, developer, gamer, and marketing team. A guy like me makes above average money. I manage my money, and time well enough to be able to spend some of it on Apex Legends. I have put over 6000 hours of gameplay into that game because I truly wanted to be one of the best in the world and I wanted the world to see that I had a predator badge. I have hit predator over 5 times now. But guess what. I don't have a badge!! I have spent my time and money on this game. Every single time I stopped playing this game for a long period of time, it was after grinding long hours trying to secure predator. After spending way too much money for a few skins. After seeing the amount of cheaters in the game. I absolutely refuse to go and buy a Cronus Zen like everyone else. I refuse to buy a Strike pack. It blew my mind finding out that most of the top 20 predators on Playstation right now are using these devices and blatantly show them on stream! How are they not getting banned?!?!?! These guys are literally showing off the devices on their stream. It's insane. Why am I working so hard to do things right and earn what I deserve just to get slapped in the face with a masters badge and get ego'd away by dudes who are using Cronus Zens, Xim matrix, Strike packs, scripts. They act like they are the sh**. They talk so much snack to everyone as if they aren't cheating. They are over here getting hundreds of views on Twitch because they are ranked so high but yet they are cheating. There are discords with their accounts talking about the mod packs they have. Here's the other thing. These guys are boosting accounts for money. Do you realize what that actually does to the game from a business standpoint? It actually drives the community away. People like me see that 100+ people are out there using cheats to boost other accounts to Apex Predator rank therefore making it impossible to actually make the rank. They are each doing this with multiple accounts. 100 people will boost like 1 to 3 accounts to pred easily. And will boost others to master. I used to know a guy who was making 100k a year from boosting acounts. All I'm asking at this point is for you to make an Apex Legends 2. Fix everything. Either tell people it's okay to use the Strike packs, Cronus Zens, and Xims or tell them it's bannable and detectable. Actually make it detectable like Fortnite did. Also stop selling cosmetics for an arm and a leg. Sell like this and I guarantee you will make way more money. All commons should be free but earned. All rares should be one dollar or earnable. All epics should be 5 dollars or earnable. All legendaries should be 10 dollars or earnable. All mythics should be no more than 50 dollars and should always come with extra stuff. Btw before I end this rant I wanted to let you know these cheating methods are just the tip of the iceberg and I have lost over 5000rp in a single split to getting DDOS, killed by aimbotters, strike packers etc. FIX THIS SH**.My game was bugged
In s20 I tryed to do the challenges for the reactive flatline skin but at the challenge „send 6 free gifts to friends“ my game was bugged and I couldn’t send gifts until only 2 weeks were left and only could send 4 gifts. I completed all the other quests but not this one and I’m mad bout that until this day.Audio
I’m so tired of battle royals this **bleep** **bleep**ing sucks. I mean 9/10 no audio when someone’s right **bleep**ing on top of meeeeee. But literally we don’t want battle royals anymore bring back arenas 3v3s or some **bleep** bc this game is dog**bleep** now. I’ve played since the game came out and it’s just not fun anymore 3 stacks of preds and no audio, it’s just **bleep**ing great. I mean idk if yall giving us free packs bc the games so **bleep** rn or what. Lvl 427 and still don’t have heirloom, reporting for saying anything in chat, like just the ppl playing this game ruin ts. Ppl hiding in corners just sitting there waiting it’s not fun fix some **bleep** make maps biggger idk do something bc im tired of ts. I haven’t even been playing much anymore bc the game just feels terrible.is alter ult bugged or some**bleep**?
i cant take the **bleep**ing alter ult on the first go it just keeps cancelling after channelling half way??? i dont **bleep**ing get it why it keeps cancelling by itself? what is happening ive just lost an easy win from this stupid **bleep** **bleep**ing bug? surely i cant be the only one who keeps getting cancelled on using the ult ??? what the actual
Shadow Revenant
This is an alternate version of Revenant with all the old abilities set (although made better). His appearance is like the classic Revenant we all know and love but he is slightly damaged and his eyes are dimmed. Abilities: Passive: Same as the current one with small additions. His silence highlights enemies briefly. Tactical: Death Orb Throw a ball that damages opponents for 20 dmg and silences them for 15 sec. Silenced opponents also don’t have access to their passives and class abilities. Ultimate: Death totem Deploy a totem that you can interact with to respawn after receiving fatal damage. While death totem is active. Your knockdowns regenerate HP and extend the timer. Now with the Perks tree: lvl 2 Perks: Marked for death: Triple the duration of highlight on Death Orb Hit. Death Cheating: Reduce ultimate cooldown. lvl 3 perks Cursed by the dead: You return to the totem with 25 more health and receive a speed boost immediately after returning. Silenced for eternity: Increase the duration of silence by 10 seconds. QOL changes: Death totem has 500 HP and it’s immune to damage by you and your teammates. This is mainly to stop shooting it down by mistake after returning to the totem.Season 24
Hello I reached out to EA help and received and response stating that rewards from previous seasons do not carry over to new seasons which i already know when season 24 came out I paid for the ultimate + bundle which includes all rewards earned for season 24 part 1 and part 2 and when season 24 part to began i had received all my rewards upto my current lvl of 30 then all of a sudden now i have everything locked and trying to say I need to purchase season 24 again I took all the steps to fix on my own from restarting game and console and making sure my EA account was linked still to my xbox series x apex account and then even uninstalled and reinstalled the game but still no luck so my question is do I just directly respond to the email I received from email as any other email conversation/response and wait for them to reply back? Or how do I fix this problem/bug
Solution to the whole legend specific / universal heirloom problem
We currently have the option to get a Sword as a universal heirloom , many know it was originally going to be newcastles one.( we r not getting legend specific heirlooms because universals sell more) What if we could buy a 4th variant . There are currently 3 colors people can buy, what if there was a 4 th option, it costs a bit more in terms of exotic shards but it includes slightly changes visuals and colors to make the sword really look like newcastle s heirloom and lore specific animations for him . universal heirloom have to look more generic to fit any legend , while the old legend specific heirlooms look tailored for the legend and they would look completely wrong in other hands. Using this 4 th option would not only keep universal heirlooms as thy are but also give hardcore fans the option to get a legend specific heirloom for a legend that hasn t gotten one. The fact it costs a few more exotic shards could also alleviate the extra work of making the model slightly different , to make it fit the original legend more and adding the 4-6 animations for the legend . This would be a win-win. Everyone gets their cake, normal players get to buy 1 universal that they use for every legend and a color variant while hardcore fans can get a heirloom for their main if they choose so. To finish my collection of heirlooms I still need the Ballistic , Conduit and Alter ones . using this technique would make such a thing possible, I don t mind paying X amount of extra exotic shards for their legend specific versions. And I m sure that the venture , mad maggie , catalyst mains would be happy too. I hope that some dev can see this idea and pitch it to some boss. There s more money to be made and everyone gets what they ask for . Thanks for reading all this
Question regarding cross progression
I just want to know that I am reading it correctly I have my main ea account it's linked to steam, and Nintendo. Nintendo being where I started. If I link a fresh new psn account onto that main ea account will I have all my progress on that fresh new psn account? I want to play on my Playstation whenever I cant get on my pc while still leveling up my account.
Lost all cosmetics after getting unbanned
I was banned due to the account getting hacked, tried contacting support multiple times during that time, yet all i got was the same automated message to contact live support ( banned accounts cant contact it), after like 7 disputes i got a link to contact live supp directly, anyways i got it unbanned after a long time of miscommunication with the support. Only to find out that all my progress was reset ( my level, my skins, and all my badges, and ranks). Tried contacting live support for the missing items, all i got was that there is probably an issue with steam ( its stupid because ive tried the same account on "EA app" and steam, both were empty.) Thus i had been told to write here in the forums and hope for some team that specializes in these issues to help me.
