Starting to feel let down by the lack of anti-cheats and bans
Everyday I play for a few hours as a casual person and I'm constantly seeing aimbotting in Apex Legends ranked. I always report these players but feel let down by EA because I am seeing it every day and when reporting the cheating players, there is no confirmation of it was cheating or not. I can see why the game is dying which is a shame.
The Anti-Cheat Team Is Letting Console Players Down
Apex’s anti-cheat team is seriously letting the console community down. How are people who have been cheating for multiple seasons still getting away with using Zens and Titans? You run into the same names every split, using Havocs and Devotions to beam people from 300 meters with virtually no recoil. These aren’t subtle cheats either. What’s even more frustrating is that some of these players literally stream on TikTok, brag about what they’re doing, and somehow they’re still playing every day. Meanwhile, we’re constantly told the anti-cheat team is “cracking down” on cheaters. Where? Because we’re still seeing the same players in our lobbies. At this point it feels like almost every Pred lobby on console has people abusing third-party devices. So what’s the point of the report button? Does it even work? Is anyone actually reviewing these reports? How many reports do you need before action is taken? People are getting tired of wasting their time. They’re leaving Apex for games like Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, and Call of Duty because they’re tired of feeling like they’re fighting cheaters instead of other players. It’s been years of this. The community has been reporting it for years. We love Apex—that’s why we’re still here asking for something to change. But if nothing is done, the game will keep losing legitimate players while the cheaters keep playing. At some point, the biggest threat to Apex won’t be a lack of content—it’ll be the players who stop logging in because they no longer believe the game is being protected.Octane isn't fast anymore.
It used to be that a skilled Wraith might be able to compete with Octane for a short while, but with the updates to Pathfinder and the chick that turns into Mario Kart? Octane's whole deal is being mobile as heck. And now I'm getting outmaneuvered by all sorts of different legends speed wise. There's a problemo there, amigos.

Hello, I’m playing on the Asia server. The AP - East1 server has the most cheaters. They sell boosting services and cheats on Taobao, a Chinese shopping app. Cheaters can see where players are located and even view their usernames by checking the map. They avoid pro players and streamers and target regular players instead. Even if they get banned, they buy accounts for $1 to $3 and come back to the game. They used to use head aimbots to avoid getting taken down quickly, but these days they use wallhacks and body aimbots. I know you're doing a better job of catching cheaters than you used to, but there are cheaters in every match. It's getting to the point where I can't even play the game. It seems there are ways for them to get in by taking a detour even if they're on a hardban. I saw a DDoS attack being launched from a website. Normally, it would have caused the game to crash, but now it just causes lag.Missing Battle Pass Pack Contents from Season 29 Split 1
Hi EA Team, I am unable to submit a ticket through the EA Help website (the submit button is not responding), so I am posting here for help. During the first split of Season 29, I unlocked a Purple Apex Pack and possibly a regular Apex Pack from the Battle Pass. However, right after I used these packs, the game happened to be launching at that exact moment. I did not see the unboxing animation or any items being added. I suspect the pack contents may not have been delivered to my account. Could you please help me check?
Apex ban got overturned, but the game is still locked
I appealed the Apex game ban I received on July 12, 2026, on help.ea.com. The case ( Case #250605972) shows it has been overturned, and my ban history can no longer be found, but when I log into Apex, it still shows my account is locked. I seriously suspect that the anti-cheat database didn't sync with the TOS when lifting the ban.How to get good at this rubbish game?
Played 75% of the seasons Never had a 20 kill, never had a 3 squad, never had over 4000 damage, even in Wildcard. I see my enemies first, I shoot my enemies first, I use cover, don't camp, get involved in fights. Ended most 15 kills wildcard and still less than 4000 damage Outwit almost all of my opponents. Many opponents i can see first, shoot first, shoot longer, then they turn around and kill me in half a second even with the same gun. So can how still not be good? This is An Open Letter to Respawn & EA: The Commercialization of Steam Input Macros and the Death of Competitive Integrity I want to have a serious conversation about something that's been ignored for too long. This isn't another aim assist debate — this is specifically about Steam Input controller configs and what they enable in Apex Legends right now. What's actually happening Players on controller are using Steam Input — Valve's official remapping tool — to automate mechanics that were designed to require skill. Here's what publicly available and actively sold configs do: Jitter Aim — automatic crosshair micro-oscillation that combined with rotational aim assist produces near-zero recoil. Physically impossible to replicate by hand with the same consistency. Superglide — The config executes it perfectly every single attempt. Neo Strafing — advanced movement that gives a massive advantage in gunfights. One button. 100% execution rate. Mantle Jump, Turbo Jump, Armor Swap, Fast Loot — all reduced to single button presses with millisecond precision no human hand can match. Why EAC doesn't catch it — and never will This is the core problem. Steam Input operates at the driver level, before the signal reaches the game. To EAC, a controller with a macro and a controller without one are completely identical — both send legitimate XInput signals. No code injection. No memory reading. Nothing for EAC to flag. You cannot ban this without banning Steam Input entirely. Which means banning it for every legitimate controller user on your platform. Respawn is trapped — and they know it. The gray market you're ignoring People are selling these configs. Not sharing — selling. Discord servers with paid tiers. Dedicated websites. Premium versions with extended features. Some channels which are selling it confirm that the sellers understand exactly what they're distributing. This is a commercial market for competitive advantage built inside a legal loophole that Respawn/EA created by never defining what is and isn't permitted. If a keyboard player ran software that automated Superglide/Neostrafe etc. — instant ban. A controller player buys a config file from a Discord server — nothing happens. Same outcome. Different rules. Zero explanation from the developer. Spreading the issue Furthermore, there are documented methods to force aim assist activation on mouse and keyboard through controller input spoofing — achieving the same result on PC while bypassing any enforcement. I want to be clear — this isn't a platform war post. Honest controller players are also being cheated here. The majority of controller players have no idea these configs exist. They're losing to people who paid for a config file and they have no way of knowing it. The problem is automation of skill-based mechanics combined with aim assist combined with zero enforcement combined with a commercial market operating openly. That combination is a competitive integrity failure regardless of what input device is involved. Respawn — you've enforced competitive integrity before. You've banned third party software. You've patched exploits when the community pressure was high enough. This deserves the same attention. Or at minimum — an official statement explaining where you stand. Because right now your silence reads as permission. My questions to Respawn/EA — and I'd genuinely like answers: Do you consider Steam Input configs that automate jitter aim, superglide, and neo strafing to be within the spirit of fair play in Apex Legends? If not — what are you doing about it, and why has it been ignored since at least 2021? Do ALGS tournament rules explicitly address Steam Input configs? If a pro player used these configs on stage, would that be a violation? Is it acceptable that people are commercially selling these configs — profiting from a competitive loophole that you have neither closed nor officially permitted? Final Note to the Community I will not be engaging in circular arguments with anyone attempting to defend these scripts as "just settings" or "accessibility features." This post isn't aimed at individual players, and I have no interest in debating those who profit from or rely on these macros. My goal is simple: clarity from Respawn. The community deserves to know if "competitive integrity" is still a core value of Apex Legends, or if the automation of skill is now the accepted standard. The silence has gone on long enough. It’s time for a definitive stance.
Stream on Linux
Hi everyone, I have a question about remote game streaming. Is it allowed to use Sunshine and Moonlight to stream Apex Legends from my Windows PC to a Linux device on my local network? I want to make sure this complies with the anti cheat policies before I try it. Has anyone else used this setup successfully? Also, are there any updates on native Apex Legends support for Linux? And why is the game still blocked on Linux in the first place? Thanks for any clarification!
Season 29 Predator Rewards After Nintendo Switch Shutdown
I am Apex Predator on Nintendo Switch1 now on Season 29. My Nintendo account is linked to the same EA account as my PC and PS5 through Cross Progression, but those platforms are only Diamond. Since Switch 1 support is ending before rewards are distributed, will my account receive the Predator rewards(badge,charm) if i login on pc or ps5 , or the Platinum rewards from my other platforms.Your account is locked

Got back on after a year of not playing it’s the exact same game but worse😭 masters camping height, game freezing my character, hud mid fight turning off and not going back on. I wasn’t even lagging either. Ab to just delete the game. Not to mention to even leave a comment was hard enough “do you want to link your account data” nooo sign me tff in. I shouldn’t have to link my accounts to sign in. I had to make another account just to leave this comment bc it wouldn’t let me in without linking. Takes 1 game to realize why I quit playing. This is every EA game thoShow teamates kills and damage in top corner and modify ranked scoring?
I hate when you risk your life to save a ping spamming teamate only to die and see that you were trying to save someone with 100 damage... display their damage so we can be more choosy with who we rez it'd be a game changer. Also lots of people literally ratting in ranked. Change ranked scoring to score based off damage, kills, and victories. No assists, no second placement. Just skill based scoring. They rat because rarting is rewarded. Stop rewarding someone thirsting a guy you knocked, stop rewarding the dude behind a rock inching in from the storm just to throw against last team. I'd say 50 pts per kill, 10 pts per 500 damage, and 100 pts per win would make this game bloodthirsty as it used to be. Heck, even take away the ability to get evo points from anything besides damage and kills, that guy hiding behind the rock all match shouldn't be rewarded with a purple shield and placement points, he should have a white shield and be scared for his lifeGet rid of damage reduction on legends?
15% decreased damage on the tanky character's is dumb. I played through the whole 5% incoming damage increase for octane and screwing with all that takes away the skill aspect of the game somewhat. Should ALWAYS be able to take someone down with a kraber headshot. Just remove the damage modifiers entirely?
