How to get good at this rubbish game?
Played 75% of the seasons Never had a 20 kill, never had a 3 squad, never had over 4000 damage, even in Wildcard. I see my enemies first, I shoot my enemies first, I use cover, don't camp, get involved in fights. Ended most 15 kills wildcard and still less than 4000 damage Outwit almost all of my opponents. Many opponents i can see first, shoot first, shoot longer, then they turn around and kill me in half a second even with the same gun. So can how still not be good? Doesn't make sense.Bug Report: Fence Node Issue & Feature Suggestion for Banner/Skin Presets
Hello APEX Development Team, I would like to report a bug regarding Wattson's new fence nodes. As you can see in the bottom left of the attached image, the nodes fail to connect properly. I kindly ask if you could look into improving and fixing this issue. Additionally, apart from the bug report, I have an idea that I believe would make APEX even more enjoyable, so I wanted to share it with you. My suggestion is to add a "Preset" feature for each legend’s banner and cosmetics. When I want to use Wattson's Heirloom skin or finishers, it is honestly quite tedious to manually customize the banner, quips, and finishers every single time to match. Furthermore, when switching back to a favorite set or trying out newly acquired skins and badges, we currently have to scroll through everything and reselect each item one by one. This process feels very time-consuming. If a preset system (e.g., Pattern 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) were implemented, players could easily switch to a pre-configured set with just one click, depending on their mood. I think this would be an extremely convenient feature for everyone. I would be very grateful if you could share this idea internally for consideration. Season 29 Predator Rewards After Nintendo Switch Shutdown
I am Apex Predator on Nintendo Switch1 now on Season 29. My Nintendo account is linked to the same EA account as my PC and PS5 through Cross Progression, but those platforms are only Diamond. Since Switch 1 support is ending before rewards are distributed, will my account receive the Predator rewards(badge,charm) if i login on pc or ps5 , or the Platinum rewards from my other platforms.

Hi everyone, I have a question about remote game streaming. Is it allowed to use Sunshine and Moonlight to stream Apex Legends from my Windows PC to a Linux device on my local network? I want to make sure this complies with the anti cheat policies before I try it. Has anyone else used this setup successfully? Also, are there any updates on native Apex Legends support for Linux? I have 6500 hours in this game. why do developers constantly think that we want an unkillable stun drone to fight. I want fair gunfights. Who cares about the lore. Who cares about ALGS. WE WANT FAIR GUNFIGHTS. I don't even care if you keep her kit. but that drone DOES NOT need 100 health. On top of that, it shouldn't launch you in the air. I know you developers want every penny off your BS but c'mon, Do you guys even play your own game? Its not a game of skill or aim anymore. I want to link my PS4 account of apex legends account to my Xbox so I can transfer all my stuff from my PS4 to Xbox but I can't get into my account. As every time I go to log into my account it doesn't allow me login even when I use right password . It's expired credentials or wrong password (Which it isn't as wrote it down). When I go to reset the password and set a verification code I never receive it even tho I'm using the same email it said it's sending it to. If anyone has a fix please contact me as its been like this for a while and want to get to playing with all my stuff on newer console and not get stuck on old one. I am really enjoying the current Solo Ranked mode and it feels very comfortable to play. The point system for solo players is well balanced, making it easier to gain points even without a team. This is the best environment for solo players so far. I strongly request the development team to extend this Solo Ranked period or make it permanent. Thank you!
Steam Input Configs in Apex — Automation, & Gray Market Nobody Talks About
This is An Open Letter to Respawn & EA: The Commercialization of Steam Input Macros and the Death of Competitive Integrity I want to have a serious conversation about something that's been ignored for too long. This isn't another aim assist debate — this is specifically about Steam Input controller configs and what they enable in Apex Legends right now. What's actually happening Players on controller are using Steam Input — Valve's official remapping tool — to automate mechanics that were designed to require skill. Here's what publicly available and actively sold configs do: Jitter Aim — automatic crosshair micro-oscillation that combined with rotational aim assist produces near-zero recoil. Physically impossible to replicate by hand with the same consistency. Superglide — The config executes it perfectly every single attempt. Neo Strafing — advanced movement that gives a massive advantage in gunfights. One button. 100% execution rate. Mantle Jump, Turbo Jump, Armor Swap, Fast Loot — all reduced to single button presses with millisecond precision no human hand can match. Why EAC doesn't catch it — and never will This is the core problem. Steam Input operates at the driver level, before the signal reaches the game. To EAC, a controller with a macro and a controller without one are completely identical — both send legitimate XInput signals. No code injection. No memory reading. Nothing for EAC to flag. You cannot ban this without banning Steam Input entirely. Which means banning it for every legitimate controller user on your platform. Respawn is trapped — and they know it. The gray market you're ignoring People are selling these configs. Not sharing — selling. Discord servers with paid tiers. Dedicated websites. Premium versions with extended features. Some channels which are selling it confirm that the sellers understand exactly what they're distributing. This is a commercial market for competitive advantage built inside a legal loophole that Respawn/EA created by never defining what is and isn't permitted. If a keyboard player ran software that automated Superglide/Neostrafe etc. — instant ban. A controller player buys a config file from a Discord server — nothing happens. Same outcome. Different rules. Zero explanation from the developer. Spreading the issue Furthermore, there are documented methods to force aim assist activation on mouse and keyboard through controller input spoofing — achieving the same result on PC while bypassing any enforcement. I want to be clear — this isn't a platform war post. Honest controller players are also being cheated here. The majority of controller players have no idea these configs exist. They're losing to people who paid for a config file and they have no way of knowing it. The problem is automation of skill-based mechanics combined with aim assist combined with zero enforcement combined with a commercial market operating openly. That combination is a competitive integrity failure regardless of what input device is involved. Respawn — you've enforced competitive integrity before. You've banned third party software. You've patched exploits when the community pressure was high enough. This deserves the same attention. Or at minimum — an official statement explaining where you stand. Because right now your silence reads as permission. My questions to Respawn/EA — and I'd genuinely like answers: Do you consider Steam Input configs that automate jitter aim, superglide, and neo strafing to be within the spirit of fair play in Apex Legends? If not — what are you doing about it, and why has it been ignored since at least 2021? Do ALGS tournament rules explicitly address Steam Input configs? If a pro player used these configs on stage, would that be a violation? Is it acceptable that people are commercially selling these configs — profiting from a competitive loophole that you have neither closed nor officially permitted? Final Note to the Community I will not be engaging in circular arguments with anyone attempting to defend these scripts as "just settings" or "accessibility features." This post isn't aimed at individual players, and I have no interest in debating those who profit from or rely on these macros. My goal is simple: clarity from Respawn. The community deserves to know if "competitive integrity" is still a core value of Apex Legends, or if the automation of skill is now the accepted standard. The silence has gone on long enough. I’ve been playing Apex Legends for years because I genuinely love this game. The movement, gunplay, legends, and gameplay are some of the best I’ve ever experienced. That’s why I’m writing this—I want Apex to keep growing and succeed. One thing that many long-time players are disappointed about is the heirloom system. For players who don’t have hundreds of euros to spend on collection events, or thousands of hours to grind, getting an heirloom can feel almost impossible. I have an idea that could reward loyal players while bringing excitement back to the game. What if Respawn created a community-designed heirloom? Players could submit concepts, the community could vote for their favorite, and your team could turn the winning idea into a real heirloom. Then, instead of selling it, let players earn it through a difficult but fair event or a long-term challenge. This would: Reward loyal players who have supported Apex for years. Encourage old players to return to the game. Create excitement across YouTube, Twitch, and social media. Show the community that their voices matter. Keep Apex feeling fresh and alive. I know Apex needs to make money, and I’m not asking for every heirloom to become free. I just hope there can be one meaningful reward that dedicated players can earn through commitment instead of only through spending money. South African Servers
Good day I am a teacher, and our school has started developing an e-sports team. I am in charge of our Apex division. I know that there is a lot of interest in the above-mentioned topic, and I would just like to hear what it would take to get a South African server. I have seen and personally signed multiple petitions to get a server, but unfortunately, over the past few years, there hasn't been any luck. Currently, Africa is the only continent without an Apex server, and I think that there is a huge opportunity here. I hope to hear from you soon. Hi EA team, My PS5 Apex Legends account is not displaying my EA ID despite cross-progression being live since Oct 2023. Details: - PSN: blessmyhedge - EA ID: BeatThaodds_TTV - Platform: PS5 - Issue: In-game name still shows "blessmyhedge" instead of "BeatThaodds_TTV" - I only have one Apex account. No merge needed. EA Help chat case 250996023 confirmed the entitlement isn't active on my account. The agent said they have no option to manually activate it or escalate. Per EA's cross-progression FAQ, the EA ID should display on console once active. Many PS5 players currently have their EA ID showing. Can a Community Manager or specialist please check my account and activate the cross-progression entitlement flag? Thank you.
Unlinked steam from original EA account, have i lost my progression
I recently unlinked my steam account and linked it to a new EA account to use as an alt account to play with friends in ranked. only just discovering now i cannot unlink my steam account from the new EA account and re-link it back. Just wondering if i have now lost all of my progress from my original account. i played a couple games on the new EA account on steam, some people are saying all of my progression is linked to EA, some are saying its linked to Steam. EA support wasn't much help, not clarifying if i have lost everything or not.
