Unknown banned
I was away for a whole year last year for military training and came back to the game yesterday just to find out my account got banned a month ago. I tried to search my email for any notice, email, or explanation, but nothing could be found. I tried to appeal yesterday and came out today with the same result. I don't understand how I got banned without playing a single game in two years. I've been playing since the first zombie event, and now this thing has made me disappointed in the EA group a lot.Sae02053 hours agoNewcomer16Views0likes4CommentsFalse Gameplay Enhancement Ban
I been playing apex from season the end of Season 3, I have nearly 4k hours in the game. I waited to open 500 packs to get my heirloom, I even spend like 20$ to get my last few packs. I never peaked above Diamond 2. I have an electricity problem in my town. I have constant Desync, input delay, FPS loss and my 144hz display feels like 15hz. You can tell me "It's your PC problem". Yeah man bought 4 different PC's and all have the same problem. i9 10900K with 3070 and I'm getting 40 FPS in dropship. People with low end PC kills me every time. I don't give a **bleep** about the game anymore every second I fire a gun I get prediction error pop in. Server delay maybe IDK, changed 4 different ISP's and no change same problem. People who don't have this issues won't care about anything they just ignore us. The whole time I played apex I never used any kind of "gameplay enhancement" they say in my account. Never got hacked or never let anyone use my account. The input delay problem is a big iceberg I don't want to talk about that here. It affects the whole PC, Online and Offline. I totally gave up gaming, I cant even use the PC because of random router resets. Spend more than 4K on this Electricity **bleep**, I done at this point. I used a Lamzu mouse and a Zaopin mouse back an forth when it ran out of battery. I made a OS wipe and downloaded the game in Steam and I got banned. I been applying for appeal for more than an Year now and no reply, rejected! rejected! rejected! the game is no where close to the game it use to be. About Diamond majority of the people are using some kind of cheats or enhancements. I worked in a AAA game company before as support engineer, I signed a NDA so I'm not saying the name of the company. The reason I quit that company is because of things like this. Give the support to a outsourcing company and they don't care. People want to make money and get their lives running but they are not gamers. No one is going to be enthusiasts about clicking tickets, they just want to get rid of the tickets in a given amount of time and get this over with. For being decent in a game gave me a award as cheater. I got my account banned for the first 6 months there was nothing mentioning why I got banned. Its a Perma ban, what did I do? Then it says gameplay enhancement. I don't care if people believe me or not. I just want to say this out, because of the frustration that's been boiling in my head for a long time. I'm 1000% sure its a false ban, I can swear on my Dads grave. Thank you!cookieezncream10 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer18Views0likes2CommentsDKS
Hi I have a keyboard with Dynamic Keystroke (DKS). I want to use DKS in Apex Legends for a superglide. My setup is one physical key (C): At 1.0 mm key travel, it sends Space (Jump) At 1.3 mm key travel, it sends Ctrl (Crouch) I am physically pressing and controlling the key myself. There is no macro, no prerecorded sequence, no automatic timing, and no repeated input. The key simply sends Space when pressed to 1.0 mm and Ctrl when pressed further to 1.3 mm. Is this specific DKS configuration allowed in Apex Legends, or could using it result in an anti-cheat action or ban?19Views0likes2CommentsGot false banned on apex legends but I cant log in in my ea account to appeal

My account was stolen and got banned as a result.
Hello, please help me. My account was tricked away from me and used without my knowledge between April and May. I later discovered that my account was banned on May 4th, but I did not play Apex Legends at all in May. I believe the ban was caused by the unauthorized user who accessed my account. The only thing I know right now is that someone stole my backup codes and logged into my account without my knowledge. I would like to know what exactly happened to my account and why it was banned. Yes, I did submit an appeal. I apologize for that—my mental state was very poor at that time, and I filed an appeal that was unreasonable. I sincerely regret that. I suffer from severe anxiety and moderate depression. I had been taking medication to manage my conditions before I found out about the ban. But when I realized that my favorite game had permanently closed its doors to me, I felt truly devastated and heartbroken. My account's backup codes were maliciously stolen without my knowledge, and someone used my account for an unknown period of time, because I was in the hospital receiving treatment for my mental health issues during that time. I have invested over 3,000 hours into Apex Legends. I have always worked very hard to improve my skills legitimately. I would never cheat or use any software that violates the game's terms of service. My account was compromised. I did not play Apex at all during the days when it was banned. Please tell me what I should do. I really don't want my appeal to fail again because of my own irrationality. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I treasure this account as if it were my own life. Please, I am begging you to help me. I truly want my account back. I swear on my life that I have never cheated. I believe cheating is utterly disgraceful. I have even participated in official Apex Legends tournaments and earned the ALGS badge officially awarded by the developers. I swear by my very life that I have never used any cheats. Please investigate this matter thoroughly and help me recover my account. Thank you very much for your assistance.FFFNNNGGGSAOP1 day agoSeasoned Newcomer43Views1like5CommentsAccount Compromised Before Apex Ban – Unauthorized Steam Link
Hello EA Community Managers and EA Support, I am posting here because I believe my EA account was compromised and subsequently used to play Apex Legends, make unauthorized changes, link an unauthorized Steam account. The activity was not performed by me. I have already submitted official appeals, but I believe the account activity contained in my EA Data Subject Access Request provides important evidence that has not yet been properly reviewed. I am therefore asking for a manual account-security investigation and manual review of the ban. This is an established EA account This is not a newly created account. According to my EA account data, the account was originally created on March 2, 2022 and remained active for years. My historical account activity also shows a consistent usage pattern before the incident. The important point is that the suspicious activity appeared as a significant change from the account's previous usage pattern. The first major abnormality: sudden change in login/network pattern Before the suspicious activity, my account repeatedly showed the usual Suzhou, China login/location pattern. However, around the time the account was compromised, this pattern changed abruptly. The suspicious activity was associated with a Los Angeles, United States IP/location. I understand that IP geolocation alone cannot prove account theft because VPNs, proxies and game accelerators can change IP locations. Therefore, I am not asking EA to treat the IP address alone as proof of compromise. What concerns me is the combination of the sudden change in location/network pattern, an unauthorized password change, an unauthorized Steam account being linked, an unauthorized account-name change, subsequent Apex gameplay, and finally the anti-cheat ban. These events form a much stronger timeline than an IP address alone. Unauthorized password change On August 4, 2026, the EA account information shows that the account was modified at approximately 2026-08-04 11:30 UTC. I did not make this password/account change. This is one of the most important events in the entire timeline. The EA export itself shows the account modification timestamp. Unauthorized Steam account linking Approximately 8 minutes after the account modification, at around 2026-08-04 11:38 UTC, a new Steam persona was created and activated on my EA account. The EA account export lists a Steam persona created on August 4, 2026 at 11:38 UTC. This Steam account was not linked by me. My previous Steam identity on this EA account was different, and I did not authorize a new Steam account to be linked at this time. This is particularly suspicious because the new Steam identity appeared immediately after the unauthorized account modification. I am asking EA to check the internal account-linking records and determine which device performed the linking, the IP address used, the authentication/session token used, whether the Steam OAuth/linking authorization came from my normal device, and whether the linking occurred before or after the unauthorized password change. Unauthorized account-name change The account was also modified again after the suspicious Steam linking activity. The account name was changed while the suspicious Los Angeles activity was still associated with the account. I did not authorize this change. The timing is important because the password change, Steam linking and account-name modification all occurred within a very short period. Apex gameplay and subsequent ban After these unauthorized account changes, Apex Legends gameplay activity appeared on the account. The account was subsequently subjected to an anti-cheat ban. The EA penalty record identifies the reason as COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE, with the sanction marked as ACTIVE for Apex Legends. I want to make something very clear: I did not knowingly use cheats, aim assistance, scripts, exploits or other software intended to obtain an unfair competitive advantage. If the gameplay that triggered the anti-cheat action occurred after the account was compromised, then the person responsible for that gameplay was not me. The player-report data does not establish that I cheated The EA gameplay export also contains player-report information. There is an AIMSNAP report in the data. I understand that AIMSNAP refers to a player reporting suspected snapping/locking/aim-assist-like behavior. However, a player report is not the same thing as an EA anti-cheat determination. The exported data does not provide me with the match ID, the reporting player's identity, the exact timestamp of the report, the anti-cheat detection signature, the device fingerprint, the hardware identifier, or the telemetry that EA used to determine the violation. Therefore, I respectfully ask EA not to treat the player report itself as proof that I personally cheated. What I am asking EA to investigate I am not asking EA to simply remove the ban because an IP address changed. I am asking for a manual correlation of the account-security and anti-cheat records. Specifically, please check account security items including password-change event, Steam-linking event, previous and newly linked Steam account, login/session tokens, device fingerprints, hardware identifiers, authentication history, account recovery and security events. Also please check Apex and anti-cheat related content: device associated with the banned Apex sessions, hardware identifiers associated with those sessions, anti-cheat telemetry, exact detection reason and signature, match timestamps, whether the banned gameplay occurred before or after the unauthorized account changes, whether the banned device matches my historical devices. If the anti-cheat activity originated from a device/session that does not match my normal account usage, I respectfully ask EA to take the account compromise into consideration and remove the sanction. Why I believe the timeline is important The most important point is not any single IP address. It is the full sequence of events: Long-established account, sudden abnormal login/location pattern, unauthorized password and account modification, new Steam account linked without my authorization, unauthorized account-name modification, Apex gameplay from the suspicious period, anti-cheat enforcement. This sequence is consistent with an account-compromise scenario and deserves a security-level investigation rather than being treated solely as a normal cheating appeal. My request I respectfully ask EA to investigate the unauthorized account changes, investigate the unauthorized Steam linking, determine which device and session performed these actions, correlate those sessions with the Apex anti-cheat activity, review the ban manually, restore the account to its legitimate state if compromise is confirmed, remove the Apex ban if the prohibited activity is determined to have originated from the unauthorized user or device. I understand that EA cannot publicly disclose sensitive security or anti-cheat information. I am not asking for confidential detection methods to be posted publicly. I only ask that the account be reviewed internally using the information EA has available. I have attached my EA data exports and a consolidated evidence timeline for reference. Thank you for taking the time to review this case. I sincerely hope EA can investigate the account activity as a potential account-compromise case rather than treating it solely as a conventional cheating violation. Thank you.64Views2likes3CommentsSerpent Sting Is Outdated — You Can’t Even See It While Running
Please Give Serpent Sting the Rework It Deserves I genuinely think Serpent Sting is one of the coolest-looking universal heirlooms in Apex, however, you can not even see it in game while running, which is exactly why it feels so disappointing that the animations don't fully live up to the design. This isn't a post saying the heirloom itself is bad. Quite the opposite — the design is amazing. It has a lot of personality and potential, but the actual animations make it feel much less special than it could be. The biggest problem: you can't properly see it while running The running animation needs to be looked at. When you're actually playing normally and running around, a lot of the heirloom isn't properly visible. That's a huge problem for something whose entire purpose is to be a premium cosmetic that you get to look at while playing. And when you press inspect while running, it does the spin animation, but this doesn't really solve the problem. The spin is: Too fast Not smooth enough Not positioned well enough to see the whole heirloom Over before you can properly appreciate what you're looking at It feels like the animation is rushing through the showcase rather than actually showing off the heirloom. I'd love to see the running inspect completely reworked so that the animation feels more deliberate and forceful. The heirloom should come properly into view, have a smooth and satisfying spin, and actually give you a clear look at the entire design before returning to the running position. Make the animation feel like it's showing off the heirloom instead of hiding it. Serpent Sting feels outdated compared with newer universal heirlooms This is another major reason I think it deserves an upgrade. Serpent Sting was one of the earlier universal heirlooms, and since then the standard for universal cosmetics has moved forward considerably. Newer releases have much more going on: multiple colour options, additional effects, unique animations and extra little interactions that make them feel like a complete package rather than simply an item you're holding. That's what Serpent Sting is missing. It's not that the base design needs replacing. The base design is the best part. It just needs more personality around it. Give it more colourways Serpent Sting would be perfect for additional colourways. Other newer universal cosmetics have shown how much extra value colour variants can add, so I'd love to see Serpent Sting receive the same treatment. Different colourways could completely change the feel of the heirloom while keeping the original design available. Some possible directions: Black / red Black / purple Silver / blue White / silver Galaxy A darker venom-inspired colourway Even better would be colourways that come with their own small visual effects or animation differences. The blade mechanism has so much potential One of my favourite details is the opening/closing mechanism at the end of the blade. It's a really cool design detail, but it feels underused. The fact that it can open and close is exactly the sort of thing that could make Serpent Sting feel alive and unique. I'd love to see a new inspect or rare animation that actually focuses on that mechanism. For example, an animation where the character deliberately manipulates the mechanism, lets it open and close, examines it, and then snaps it back into place would give the heirloom so much more personality. There are loads of possibilities here without needing to change the actual design. We've seen heirlooms receive animation upgrades before Respawn has already shown that older heirlooms can receive additional attention and improved animation packages. That's why I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for Serpent Sting to receive the same treatment. It's one of the older universal heirlooms, and it has one of the strongest designs, but it doesn't feel like its animations make full use of that potential. This isn't about changing Serpent Sting — it's about finishing it I really want to emphasise this: I don't want the design changed. I don't want Serpent Sting replaced. I don't think it's ugly. I don't think the concept failed. I actually think the opposite. It's my favourite universal heirloom because of the design. That's why I want Respawn to give it the animation and customisation treatment it deserves. The potential is already there. The blade mechanism is there. The design is there. The universal format is there. It just needs more personality. Please let the community help If Respawn is willing to revisit Serpent Sting, I'd genuinely be happy with them taking the community's ideas and deciding what works best. Whether that's: A completely new running inspect A smoother and more powerful running spin Better positioning so the entire heirloom is visible New inspect animations An animation focusing on the opening/closing blade mechanism More colourways New visual effects Rare animations Additional interactions Do whatever you think works — just give it some more love. There is already plenty of discussion from Apex players about heirloom animations and the importance of being able to properly enjoy these cosmetics. Even older community discussions specifically called out clunky inspect-while-running animations as something players wanted improved. Serpent Sting also has plenty of room for more elaborate animation work. Current showcases document its existing inspect, draw and melee animations, so an update could build on what is already there rather than starting from scratch. Please don't let one of the best-looking universal heirlooms be held back by its animations. Serpent Sting deserves an upgrade. The design is already there. Now give it the personality to match.8Views0likes0CommentsApex Legends crashes midway when launched with a specific Steam account.

I am sick and tired of complaining about the cheaters in Wildcard. Today I tried playing and almost all enemies were immune to gunfire. The shots literally just went right through the players in all the Matches. The Nemesis was the only gun that would register, and even it the cheaters would jump real high (about 3x as high as normal) and bounce in weird shapes impossible to do in the game so that you couldn't shoot them. Seriously, Faid couldn't have stood a chance against these guys. If you want to keep cheating legal in this game then I want to be able to do it too. If I decide to stick with this game I am starting the complaint process mentioned in the ToS and am going to tell them it is discrimination if I don't get the same opportunities as other players, they need to modify my account to have these abilities or include them as extra software I can purchase. Abilities such as invisibility, auto refilled health (where health auto heals at 25%), ability to jump 3x as high, ability to swim in the air, triggerbot (game aims and shoots for you while mode is on), aimbot, rapid fire, one shot melee kills, ability to shoot through rocks and crates, etc need to be available to all players and not just a private discord club that pays a few hundred a month or buys a special device or it is discrimination. Two of the top pred coaches have admitted during their YouTube podcasts that 70% of the top preds are cheating. I believe it is much higher than 70% on the levels lower than pred because the mass cheating is creating a "feedback loop" where the cheaters cannot defeat the preds in that 70% bracket that have mastered the art of cheating. It has now become "wallet vs wallet" on who can purchase the best cheats from the best designer. The only reason I'm not just walking away at this point is the thousands of hours I've wasted practicing. However, at this point I might just cut my losses since the game is dying. It's sad when something you love is just left to rot like this. I'm sorry, but I am feeling very frustrated and this game is just not fun anymore as I said in the other posts, I get angry every time I play. At this point the cheating has gotten so bad it is beyond being fixed by a better anti cheat program. The only options now are (as I said in the other post) do what Fortnite did and send legal notices to the makers of the cheats, allow everyone to start using cheats with no threat of repercussions, or just let the game go (as being done now) where it is "cheat all you want" as long as your cheats are good enough to bypass the latest patch of the anti cheat. The latter will surely bankrupt the game in less than a year. I'm going to try EAs complaint process since that is what they want, but is it going to matter at this point? All of us in this forum are the most dedicated legit players, but the ones on the cheaters discord outnumber us and probably spend more money. Are they apt to listen to us? While doing this, I might just wait the rest of this Bloodhound season out since for some reason it has more vulnerabilities being exploited than the last season (which is saying a lot).AymCTL2 days agoSeasoned Ace73Views1like9CommentsSeason 30 Bugg

I want to talk about the Metal Maiden in the Crimson Universal Melee Pack, because I think there are several problems with how this heirloom is designed and how it compares to the other options in the pack. I’m not making this post simply because I personally dislike the Metal Maiden. I think there are some genuine issues here that are worth discussing, especially considering that this is a premium random pack where every possible result is supposed to have comparable value. First, the Metal Maiden feels unfinished compared to the other heirlooms. The Metal Maiden doesn’t have a recolor option, and it doesn’t have an upgrade path either. Even the Serpent’s Sting has an upgrade option. On top of that, the Metal Maiden only has three inspection animations. I think this is a pretty big problem when the item is part of a random pack. If I spend the same amount of money as someone else, why does one person get an heirloom with multiple animations, customization and upgrade options, while another person gets one with significantly less content? This also creates a very specific kind of frustration for players. When you receive something randomly, you’re naturally going to compare it with the other possible rewards. If you then see that the item you received has fewer features than the alternatives, the disappointment becomes much stronger. It’s not just “I don’t like this item”; it becomes “I got the one that has less.” That’s basically the psychology of loss aversion. People tend to feel the loss of something they could have had more strongly than they appreciate what they actually received. I know that some players don’t like Sky Piercer or Serpent’s Sting either. That’s completely fair. But at least those heirlooms feel like fully developed options with their own animations and customization. The Metal Maiden doesn’t feel that way. It feels like the least rewarding outcome in the pool. The second issue is how the Metal Maiden is perceived by the Apex community. Obviously, there are people who genuinely like it. I’m not trying to say that nobody should like it. But it’s also hard to deny that a very large part of the community dislikes it, and the design has become a constant source of jokes. One of the most common jokes is comparing the Metal Maiden to an adult toy. That might be funny to some people, but it also means that players who actually own the heirloom can get mocked simply for using it. And this is where the age demographic of Apex becomes relevant. Apex has a very broad player base, including a lot of younger players. When a cosmetic becomes heavily associated with sexual jokes, that association doesn’t really stay limited to adults. It becomes part of the general community’s perception of the item. Recently, I’ve also seen another joke going around about using the Metal Maiden on Lifeline or Seer to supposedly get “bonus damage.” I didn’t understand the joke at first. Then I realized that it was because both characters are Black. I don’t believe Respawn intentionally designed the Metal Maiden around any of this, and I’m not saying that every person making these jokes has malicious intentions. But at the end of the day, this is still what some owners of the Metal Maiden have to deal with. And I have to ask: Is that really fair to the people who received it? They didn’t choose to get this heirloom. They opened a random pack and got one of the possible rewards. Now they’re stuck with an heirloom that has fewer customization options, fewer inspections, and a reputation that makes it one of the easiest heirlooms in the game to make fun of. That doesn’t feel great. The third issue is how the Metal Maiden could actually be improved. This is the part where I don’t just want to complain. I actually have a suggestion. The Metal Maiden is clearly inspired by the Heat Rod used by the Gundam Epyon from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. For people who haven’t seen Gundam Wing, the original design is actually pretty interesting. The Heat Rod isn’t just a random whip attached to the Gundam. It’s built into a small shield mounted on the Epyon’s arm, and the whip is stored inside the shield and deployed when needed. I understand why someone who has never seen Gundam might look at it and think, “Why does this shield have a giant whip sticking out of it?” Without the original context, it is definitely a strange design. But that’s also why I think the Metal Maiden could have been designed much better. The interesting part is that the Metal Maiden already has an inspection animation where the whip retracts. So Respawn clearly knows that the whip can be stored inside the weapon. Why not build the entire design around that idea? Instead of having the Metal Maiden constantly look like a whip, it could be redesigned as a compact shield-like melee weapon, with the whip stored inside it. Then the whip would only extend when attacking. When idle, it could look like a mechanical shield. During a melee attack, the whip could rapidly extend from the shield. Heavy attacks could have a more dramatic deployment animation. Inspections could show the mechanism opening, extending and retracting the whip. The weapon could completely retract after the attack, returning to its shield form. I think that would make the Metal Maiden much more interesting. It would also make the Gundam inspiration much clearer. People who know the original design would immediately understand what it is, while people who don’t know Gundam would simply see a unique mechanical melee weapon rather than a giant whip. Most importantly, it could give the Metal Maiden an identity that isn’t just “the whip everyone makes jokes about.” I’m not asking Respawn to simply give everyone a different heirloom. I would much rather see the Metal Maiden itself improved. At the very least, I think it deserves more inspection animations, a recolor or upgrade option, better deployment and retraction animations, and a design that makes better use of the shield and Heat Rod concept. I understand that random rewards mean you won’t always get the item you want. That’s not really my complaint. My problem is that the different outcomes don’t feel equally developed. If players are paying the same price for a random chance at these heirlooms, then each possible reward should feel like it received a similar level of care and attention. I hope Respawn can take another look at the Metal Maiden instead of simply treating it as a finished product. I’m sure there are people who love it, and that’s completely fine. I’m not asking for it to be removed or replaced. I just think it has a lot of potential to be much better than it currently is.gszjn24 days agoSeasoned Newcomer29Views0likes4Comments- zetoko4 days agoNew Novice17Views2likes1Comment
