Custom Search Not Working with New Map/and multiple game modes
Because custom search Prio's Time instead of choice (Strongly disagree with this as players picking in custom search are waiving their right for quick 15 seconds in the match, plus the waiting time is not wasted as I will usually use that time instead of in the middle of game to change loadouts) In my 50+ Hours of gameplay mainly using custom search I have gotten Gamemode Rush I think only 3 times. I have yet to see the new map with Nightfall patch also for whatever reason. QOL improvements really should be - Total exclusion of maps not picked in custom search unless que'd up with squad after match, -Cannot get Same Map Same Game type twice in a row, -Maybe an algorithm to pick more variety. Other minor feedback, -Not a fan of the 35-50% Player class being Engineers every game with 5 RPGS. Causes a bunch of I would say unintended gameplay. - I Have yet to actually know if I class ultimate abilty is actually working? Can click multiple times in a row and nothing happens - Aircraft gameplay is very brutal, There are some people who are extremely skilled but most of the matches Ive seen is you keep cycling back to base till flares are back up then pop out again. Also the map ranges for aircraft are way to tiny. Just adding some Low res mountains around each map could dog fighting and air combat much more enjoyable. I was banned on Jan 8, 2026, for a reason described as using software to gain better performance, which I do not understand and strongly disagree with. This explanation was vague and did not clearly show how I was allegedly involved in hacking or cheating. My overall KDA has remained around 2.2 during the Winter Event, which does not suggest abnormal improvement. From December 8 to Dec 29, 2025, I traveled with my family and previously submitted my flight information as proof. During this trip, I briefly logged into my account once while visiting Phu Quoc Island. After returning to the United States, I logged in again on Jan 13 and discovered that my account had already been banned on January 8. On Jan 25, I received an email from your team, but the explanation provided was unsatisfactory and extremely frustrating given the time and effort I invested. I again state that I have never cheated and respectfully request a review of my match history and account activity. I officially returned to playing the game on January 13; however, on January 11, I discovered that my account had already been banned, which came as a complete shock to me. I have been waiting for a satisfactory response since then but have not received any meaningful follow-up. Although there was a reply on January 25, my case has continued to show a status of “waiting for studio” for over a month, which has left me extremely disappointed I have submitted numerous appeals, participated in multiple chats with customer service, and provided all available evidence for review.26Views0likes1CommentREDSEC Suggestion
There is quite a bit of open water in RedSec and it’s really wasted space. I would like to suggest the addition of an island or a series of small islands be added. This would give teams another choice of deployment and exploration plus give teams a reason to use the boats which never get used. I never come to the forums because it's usually full of sycophants and people complaining about pet peeves wanting the game to play entirely differently than what it is, but this time I have to say something. FWIW, not that it means a whole lot, but I've been a Battlefield fan since the original release of 1942. I've also been EA Play...not anymore. I won't be buying another Battlefield. I don't think EA devs give a flying ** anymore. They're more interested in rolling out "seasons" than fixing things. This game is full of glitches. Sound, menu problems, graphical, netcode, whatever. I could live with those as long as they were getting worked on. Each patch seems to fix some things, but they're replaced by others. Fix the black screen menu issue, now it's replaced by no menus at all or overlaid menus, for instance. Sound takes as long to load as some of the textures. Some games I start with invisible guns and players. My gun loading or firing sound happens 10 seconds after I actually pull the trigger. Dead after you're around a wall, dead in a half-second burst, and dead at distances that should be impossible with SMG or even carbines on automatic fire, which leads to... Aim assist, or maybe cheating. Want to know what the problem is? The problem is that you can't tell the difference anymore. I can't. The trifecta with aim assist, bad netcode, and probably external devices helping aim has absolutely destroyed gameplay, especially in CQ maps. Getting hosed by automatic fire with TTK less than a second, snipers that never miss a headshot at a dead run with distances of 100 meters or more, guns that fire I swear just like they have an aimbot. Zero recoil. Every round hits at crazy distances at full auto. This last patch seems for some reason to have made it worse. I don't know what it is, worse netcode or a nerf to aim assist, but it's unplayable for me anymore. CQ maps end up with just a couple players taking the vast majority of the kills. You can't get near them. Braap-dead in 0.5 seconds is all you get, 70% of the time an SMG at too-far distance. 20% chance a carbine. Mixed bag for the rest, the rest of the guns hardly get used because everyone's running around with zero-recoil SMG or carbines. I played some breakthrough. Again, one player just statpadding with an SMG getting 55-odd kills defending, zero flags,...not super unusual except that was double the next kill count down. Usually that killcount is reserved for vehicle wh**es, except this was a CQ map with no vehicles. Can't get past someone that insta-kills you. And the mortar nerf...can we PLEASE block them in TDM? Most of the maps just turn into spawnkillfests anymore thanks to the mortars and aim assist clowns rushing to spawnkill camping spots, only the bigger TDMs give any hope of maneuvering. Anyway...the game is absolutely wrecked. Why do I have to unlock 6 varietes of foregrips that all slightly reduce recoil and 7 varieties of 1ish-X sight before unlocking anything that is even slightly different? If I want to use a suppressor, I have to get to level 20+ for most guns, which means hours and hours of grinding. Why in the world would anyone want to use a 20rd magazine on an assault rifle? Unlocking that is just a waste of levels, AND YOU HAVE TO UNLOCK TWO TYPES OF THEM before getting a 30-fast or 36rd. Using new guns is absoultely unbearable, and I always revert to the ones I already have attatchmets for which make the game boring. You were to be able to grind bots (like EA promised and then removed) to unlock attachments in the past, but that hasn't been a possiblity since the first few weeks of the game. Unlocking attachments in this battlefield is 3-10x more time consuming than any other battlefield game. Seriously, f*** you to whoever came up with the weapon progression in this game. I would love to tell that person, to their face, that they should eat s**t and die. The "progression" is really just grind; the worst, laziest, most ridiculous, irritating, and boring mechanic in any FPS ever made. I'd rather dig a hole in my back yard and then fill it back in, over and over and over again because at least I'd get some exercise. It is genuinely more enjoyable to watch grass grow. How about we fix the netcoding and desync before we get into another 2042 issue. Dropping new stuff before fixing the old stuff. Fix the TTK. I shouldnt have to unload a 31 mag at 10m into someone to kill them. Also may wanna lower players required to start a match cause in my area we arent finding many lobbies. Also lets do a hardware scan before games so we eliminate the hackers and cheaters. Us old gamers dont care. Been playing battlefield since the very first one. But starting to see a trend and may just be done with it soon. Loved when it first released. Was everything I wanted in a game. EA/BF6 Devs: Why is it okay for you to publish a pistol vs defib experience that is custom and highly asymmetrical, per your own system, and full progression and unlocks are rewarded? Why is it okay to get hundreds of pistol headshots in a row against helpless bots, and get all the stats and points, and progression, and challenges, and everything, but other custom servers don't get full progression for FAR LESS abusive gameplay? You have essentially published a bot farm the likeness of any other, but you think that is fine. What is your problem? Wake up!!! If you treat your customers like idiots, you lose your customers. Start thinking about what you are doing and the way you are abusing the creative community that you sold this game to based on false and empty promises. You should ALL be laid off. Dear Battlefield Team, I wanted to share a concern about the current state of the game. There seems to be a high number of bots in matches, and honestly, it’s making the gameplay feel less enjoyable. The experience is starting to feel repetitive and less competitive. Battlefield has always been great because of real player interactions, and too many bots negatively impact the gameplay experience. Additionally, I would really like to suggest bringing back persistent servers. Having persistent servers would greatly improve the overall experience, allowing players to stay in the same lobby, build rivalries, and enjoy more consistent matches. I hope you can consider reducing the number of bots and reintroducing persistent servers for a better gameplay experience. Thank you for your time. How about a jungle type map maybe brazil area.. new maps would greatly help to keep interest in the game. Even new ones for the redsec areas. The nightfall one is good. But even adding day an night to all maps would cause a change an revive older maps that get boring to some. An far as nightfall map, can add a nyc underground or any other type of map. Every time there is an update, I think the bugs with the loadouts not updating will be fixed. Example, it says I have a new unlock in a loadout. I look at it to clear out the alert (little orange dot) alert doesn’t go away. Shoutout to the absolute beasts who can pilot choppers or jets with insane precision—those 50+ kill streaks are impressive and showcase real skill. That said, aircraft often hold a massive, lopsided advantage over ground forces. I get the logic: control the skies, control the battlefield. But when one great pilot farms the lobby unchecked, it discourages infantry play and sours matches. Credit where due: skilled flying should be rewarded. But we can level the playing field slightly without nerfing pilots into irrelevance—making them work harder for those god-tier runs. A few targeted tweaks worth considering: Lower the minimum altitude for lock-on weapons — Right now, aircraft can hug the deck to break locks too easily. Dropping that threshold a bit would reward pilots who stay high and maneuver smartly, while giving shoulder-fired options (Stingers, etc.) more consistent windows against low-flying harassers. Extend flare cooldowns meaningfully — Flares already recharge, but compare that to ground vehicles (tanks reloading shells take forever) or support players restocking grenades/smoke grenades. A longer refresh would force pilots to manage cooldowns more carefully, use terrain/cover, or risk getting punished during downtime—without removing their escape tool entirely. Buff stationary AA (spawn-based flak/AA guns) — Increase effective range and damage/lethality so they actually threaten aircraft that get too bold near objectives or spawns. This gives teams passive tools to contest airspace without relying solely on mobile AA or dedicated engineers. Reduce lock-on times or acquisition range for ground AA launchers slightly — But pair it with higher damage on hit or faster projectile speed. This makes skilled pilots (who break locks with maneuvers) still dominant, but gives average players a better shot at contributing to takedowns—rewarding quick locks without making it too easy to spam. These changes wouldn’t dethrone great pilots—they’d just demand even sharper decision-making, better positioning, and teamwork (e.g., coordinating with friendly air or ground AA). Serious question to the devs although I could guarantee the answer is no. We get told that certain things like the hit reg, netcode and audio is getting fixed, yet I don’t see any improvements but more bugs into the game. still having questionable hit reg on 6 ping, still dying around walls and got teammates from a mile away shouting fe/fi/fo/fum with their insanely loud giant footsteps, and yet enemy footsteps are still inconsistent when running towards you. Now since the update I’ve been getting input delay on most things like pulling out any gadgets, trying to throw grenades or simply reloading my weapon. I have never had this previously and it’s easily noticeable since the update. Who else is experiencing this issue? My question to the devs is who actually tests the game before any update is issued? It’s either nothing is properly tested or whoever is doing it is doing a terrible job of it. How many more times are you going to continuously lie to the player base about fixing or improving certain problems in the game? Dicey it is to roll out the game I'm hearing my gunshots with half a second delay. There's no players on by 2am Funnily enough there's still half a second delay. Just reinstalled the game, took up half the day Not because it's bugged for me but your bugs that are payed. Concerned for yous and your game but I will blame you for being part of EA. This thread is for the person who is tired of matchmaking. For the person who is tired of joining rounds mid-game. For the person who is tired of having their party break at the end of matches and needing to leave games and recreate their party with their friends. For the person who is tired of playing attacker or defender over and over. For the person who is tired of playing maps in a random order. For the person who misses options and game modes that used to be in Battlefield games. For the person who is tired of sweats, or for the person who doesn't mind sweats. Every one of these experiences can be hosted and started with just one person. There is no need to queue up and wait for 4, 12, or 20 players to join. Each experience can be enjoyed with no other humans or as an experience that is full with only humans. Each one will fill with bots, as necessary, and then the bots will be replaced as humans join. You can either search for the experiences using the titles provided, or search for the experience code listed (the easier method). Battlefield Owners: "Casual Conquest..." : Solo-start (of course!) large scale conquest that is a faithful reproduction of the real thing, except with the ability to play against bots and level up your skill. Vehicles respawn quickly to get you back in the action. Bots will be replaced by humans, as humans join, but a minimum of 24 bots total will always be present, to give that casual feel. ZH6YV "Night Conquest..." : Three conquest experiences like the previous, but at night. One is dark and blue, to mimic a full moon night as best as possible with the tools available. Another has a green NVG effect to make enemies easier to see. The third experience has IRNV (thermal) enabled the entire time. Dark (moon) mode: ZMQMZ NVG (green light boosted) mode: ZMBXX IRNV (infrared white hot) mode: ZNT41 "Winter Conquest..." : Just like Casual Conquest, but all the maps are played in the snow. ZGQ1G "Heat of Battle..." : A bright and saturated version of conquest where a variety of colored flares appear each time someone spawns, kills, dies, or takes damage. This allows you to have the normal fun experience but also see and appreciate the battle playing out around you. It creates a broad heat map of activity; keep moving if you don't want to give away your position. ZTBJ1 "Large 28 vs 28 TDM..." : Classic conquest maps with vehicles and everything, but no objectives. The only objective is to get to the top of the scoreboard, be on the winning team, have a sweet KDR, or have a killer streak. Note: bots are limited to 22 vs 22 per EA's bot limits. ZMSS7 "Cairo Chaos..." : Seige of Cairo with a new twist. One street. One objective. 28 vs 28. A ton of cover has been added, plus a couple buildings for snipers to oversee the battlefield. Use of ladders to increase verticality and sustain the crazy number of players is encouraged. ZPQ25 "Hardcore Team Deathmatch - Small Maps - Bot Fill" : A rotation of small infantry maps with Hardcore settings. Experience the experience that EA forgot how to provide. Tons of fun and action! YKBXU Free to Play: "AH-6 Little Bird Test +" : A Little Bird test server like the others, except this one has more frills and the bots move around, use vehicles, and don't just stand in one spot and wait for you to kill them. There is a scoreboard and it plays like TDM. ZTPWV "F2P - Golf Course - King of the Hill - Clubhouse" : One objective at the top of the hill at the club house, with each side spawning on either side of the club house hill. Attackers try to advance up the hill and take control of the clubhouse, while defenders try to pick them off. Spawns are naturally protected by the map layout, with some additional protection provided. A sniper outpost is added in the form of a broken highway nearby. Hardcore: Z6ZFK Standard core: ZAEF4 "F2P REDSEC - Team Deathmatch" : Golf Course and Tech Sector map rotation of Team Deathmatch. Golf Course features the same design you see above. Tech Sector is mostly un-modified but can be modified based on feedback. Deathmatch AI has a purpose and you will see them on a mission. Infantry-friendly vehicles are provided. Hardcore: Z3Q8X Standard core: Z91ZJ "Golf Course - Custom Bots - Infantry Conquest" : 20 v 20 infantry conquest at golf course with many objectives in close proximity. This is what we used to call "conquest small". This is the chaos some people crave. It is essentially "King of the Hill" described above, except with 4 more objectives. Hardcore: ZC34V Standard: ZC2RY "Friends vs Friends F2P TDM with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 TDM to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZG383 "Friends vs Friends F2P Infantry Conquest with Team Switching" : 20 vs 20 conquest small at golf course to play against your friends. Bots can be turned off. Each spawn area has a sign you can interact with in order to switch to the other team, or to turn bots on or off. Host it with a password if you don't want randoms to join. ZGGTZ Please, if you are only looking for a PvE experience -- alone or with friends -- host the experiences with a password so that you can play with as many friends as you want, instead of kicking unwanted players who randomly join. Being kicked for randomly joining someone's hosted experience is not a good feeling. Note: "Free to Play" is subject to EA's wishes. Free-to-play experiences are hosted on REDSEC maps which were provided to players for free, but EA could revoke free-to-play access of those maps at any time. Additionally, amount of XP awarded and whether weapon unlocks or challenge progression is awarded is completely at the will of EA. Here are some very short demo videos. M320s may as well be bean bags, the ladder is not usable in the slightest, the kit perks suck **bleep**, AR bonus is negligible. Cool i cap flags marginally faster, recon has a UAV in comparison lol. The ladder is supposed to allow you to traverse the map, gain peekers adv, get spawn beacons out of sight. Instead you can barely get above head height with the ladder, anywhere you wanna go it either out of bounds or just not accessible. You will not get kills with the m320 unless youre clipping the barrel into their stomach, its even more dookie than the fire cannon for support. Dont even get me started on the m26 fireboy. With the introduction of the new flash compensator attachment i was really hoping to finally be able to (viably) hear the work the sound devs put into the game by removing my suppressors for this new attachments, and save some attachment points in the process. But it seems like not all guns actually get access to the flash compensator? Me loving my belt fed LMGs im quite sad to see my beloved M240L not getting access to it. Alongside that a small list of other guns not getting access to the flash compensator has me questioning if the availability is currently working as intended or bugged? Awesome! A lot like Redacted from 2042? The new map is a bit harder to control the flanks, but on this map players are really working as a team...Loads of ammo and health being thrown down and lots of revives. This map is bringing out better teamwork. Well done DICE.34Views1like3Comments
