Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!eduonkhl2 hours agoNew Adventurer18KViews5likes3446CommentsBattlefield Labs, cannot register?
I’m trying to register for the battlefield labs, but when I go to sign it, it directs me to the EA playtesting. On the page, it doesn’t show anything for Battlefield labs. Some people I’ve talked to say that it’s supposed to have a a playtests in progress option at the top, but there’s nothing there. Is there another way to register?silverhawk393 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer68Views3likes5CommentsGame is not launching
Hi, I bought Battlefield 3 on Steam and when I try to run it, I get a message that I don't have this game on the EA App and I have to enter the product key, even though I normally have the game in the EA library. I will add that at the same time I bought Battlefront 2, which runs without any problems. I contacted EA support and followed the steps below 1. Ensure that the game, EA app and Steam are closed. 2. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time to open the Run Window 3. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" without the quotes into the Run Window bar and press ENTER 4. Move the License folder to your desktop (EA Services folder should be empty) 5. Start EA app, Steam app, and launch the game It didn't help. Then I tried clearing the EA app cache, which didn't help either. Then EA support told me to reinstall the game and we ended the conversation. When I reinstalled it and tried to run it, the same thing still happens. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you in advance for your help11Views0likes1CommentIn the next installment
Old school OG battlefield gamer here Just one thing I miss in the old game that never really came back In Battlefield 2 the c4 was throwable and it went a good distance which made running/jumping up and throwing c4 make it go a nice distance and you could trigger the explosion before it hit the ground which made it deadly for throwing over walls and around corners over smaller buildings on the Karkand map.....this absolutely needs to come back Also....bring back KarkandlllHalikonlll4 hours agoNewcomer10Views0likes0CommentsDid not get redirected after being in queue to join battle labs for battlefield

A friend that join the queue later than me was redirected to the actual form to sign up for the playtest. Is the playtest now closed? As I can't rejoin the qeue, as there is no available playtest when I now click "sign up". Why did I not get in? And why did I only get to a page that says please stand by, and; We appriciate your patience. Due to higher than normal traffic, you will be placed in a queue. Hello: I installed Battlefield 1 and when it came to go online, it asks for me to sign in. I get a dialog box that says it has to send a verification email with a code to get into my account. I never receive an email and it's not in my spam folder too. I tried other emails too. I I still don't receive and email with a verification code. e.EnverPasa769 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer18Views0likes2CommentsWhat would make me buy the next Battlefield release.
More maps. A map Editor. Night vision and day and night cycles. Water that can be swam in like BF4. More destruction like BF3 or BFBC2. Must have bots like 2042 that can fill a server. Allow persistent BOT ranking for personal servers to mimic real players. Allow Bot name changing, and Persistent bot characters 64 or more per local server. Settings that allow time of day or night. Weather settings including rain, wind, fog and snow. Thermal vision and NVG for players. Kit customization. and Uniform and Kit customization like Ghost recon Breakpoint. I like the current plus system of weapon accessories for changes in the field. So immersive with sounds and graphics that the game would not need a mod. Bots please Bots that can gain rank on personal servers. Gun handling like MW2022 or black ops 6. Ability to come up out of the water and shoot weapons like MW2 Hydro map. Underwater graphics like Just Cause 2 or 3, but MW2 had the coolest underwater interaction I've ever played in a game: Vondale waterfront comes to mind. I have big expectations for the next Battlefield. Fingers crossed.KnightFury6811 hours agoRising Veteran18Views0likes1CommentLost Connection to EA Servers
I cannot connect online to Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Battlefield 1, Battlefield 5, and Battlefield 2042. I've read many of the EA Help articles and scrolled through the forums, but I haven't found a solution to this problem. I've talked to an EA advisor, which didn't help. I have good internet, and I've tried on a different console, and other troubleshooting methods. I have no clue why I can't connect because I can play other games fine. Is there anyone who may have this problem or maybe a solution? Thank you42Views0likes0CommentsEA destroyed the private server environment in Asia in Battlefield One
We are disappointed to see that since the update of the so-called EAAC anti-cheating plugin, EA has not played any anti-cheating role. Although cheating players were temporarily cleaned up within a week, the developers of their cheating software quickly made new plug-in software. It can be said that EAAC is an ineffective anti-cheating. What's more, EAAC destroyed the original game ecosystem of the Asian server. Here are the conclusions I have drawn from my long-term observation in the Asian service industry. Let's see what EA has done. Administrators of private servers in Asia manage servers through memory-reading service management tools. This is because the built-in management panel in the game is too rough and lacks functionality to handle complex server management. It's understandable that no one wants to use EA's terrible server management panel. This is not cheating, these things are what EA should have done to give to players. If EA cannot improve the game itself, won't it let players do it? The server management tools made by players are good, reducing the workload of administrators, but all of this has been ruined after the EAAC update. Since private servers need to attract players to play after opening, a server without anyone online cannot warm up. Therefore, the players of the Asian server creatively invented robots to increase the number of online users on the server. They stuffed them into the server to achieve the effect of full capacity and attract players to enter the server. This technology became unstable after EAAC's anti-cheating campaign, and the virtual machine technology used by robot authors was also banned by EAAC. Originally intended to increase the number of players and attract players to play, it was an excellent technology that was pursued and blocked by EA. Moreover, there are a large number of servers in Asia, and the total amount of rent paid each year is not low, which is unfair to the owners and administrators of Asian private servers who work hard. I recently watched the promotional video of the new Battlefield, and if it doesn't meet the players' expectations, the future of this game is difficult to predict. Because the launch of Battlefield 2042 has been a very unsuccessful, and DICE studios are also facing a large-scale departure and restructuring. The reason why we players are looking forward to the new battlefield is that we hope you can create high-quality works like the previous battlefield. But you have betrayed the players time and time again, and as a player, I am disappointed and ashamed of you. EA can take a look at Call of Duty 21 next door, the number of online players has dropped from 300,000 to 60,000.There's nothing to explain. How can we do a good game without respecting the players' opinions? My Steam platform has been online for 1000 hours, and I have also played other games in the Battlefield series. Perhaps it is Battlefield 1 as the enlightenment work of my Battlefield series, I inevitably compare Battlefield 1 with other Battlefield series. But I personally think Battlefield is the most comfortable generation of the latest games for me. The community tools that players organize spontaneously are interesting and provide a lot of convenience for ordinary players. The anti-cheating organization organized by players is also operating as usual, and the gaming experience for ordinary players is still acceptable. Unfortunately, all of this was ruined after the EAAC update. I understand the efforts made by the game officials to combat cheating, but have you ever thought about it? Your anti-cheating behavior has destroyed the original community environment, so who would want to come and play? What does EA do to make the administrators and server owners who wake up at 8 a.m. every day to open their servers think? Did their efforts just go to waste?XiuwuanIssac21 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer173Views9likes7CommentsStuck On Home Screen

I've got the BF1 from Epic Games and today i saw a discount on a shortcut bundle named as ''Ultimate Shortcut Bundle'' The price of 39.99 was crossed out and 10 Euro was written. I bought it. I thought I bought it for 10 Euros, but on the next screen, EA thanked me for my 39.99 purchase. After that, I contacted two different customer representatives for dispute my extra charge. As a result they did not help me in any way. The EA employee told me that this was a special offer for EA or Steam players, but I saw this discount in the game. As a result, I should not be held responsible for EA's pricing mistake. I have probably saved this company thousands of dollars over the years, but they did not help me with the first problem I encountered. I feel scammed.SolvedRapidAcee2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer117Views0likes5CommentsGeForce Now Battlefield 1-5 Virtual Machine Error
I was able to play Battlefield 1 until today. Today while trying to login via Geforce Now the error "Unable to run in virtual machine. Please exit the VM and try again (142)" occured. I have never had that problem before and I use GFN regularly. Same thing happens for Battlefield 5 too. This is outrageous and dissapointing to see since GFN and EA have their agreement so nothing illegal is happening. Is there any way to fix this?Dovukeyn2 days agoRising Newcomer24Views0likes1CommentHave they deleted the BF1 page?
I can't seem to find the discussion board for BF1 since this update from EA answers to EA Forums. Hopefully it's just my inability, but it would be very EA to completely kill the portion of the BF! community that were still active and vocal on the BF1 EA answers pageSpellCastinWizrd2 days agoRising Scout177Views1like15Comments
