EA Support absolutley Useless
So basically I have an old account and wanted to update to a new account. I bought BF6 and thought it would be best to link it to my new account with my new udated details. Long story short, now I have lost all my purschses and data. Cannot unlink from new account to go back to old account to recover data for "6 MONTHS". So basically, I am now banned from playing for 6 Months. No one in support can fix it. So for 6 months, Ill be back playing COD as this is a joke. No warnign when unlink and linking as to what may happen. EA you are a joke. You treat your clients like this??? Well goodbye to EA forever.

Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
“Test Your Mettle” Achievement Now Unobtainable – Please Consider a Fix
Hi EA team, I’m reaching out regarding the “Test Your Mettle” achievement in Battlefield Hardline. Since the official servers have been shut down, this achievement has become unobtainable, as it relies on online features no longer accessible. Many completionists and fans of the Battlefield series are disappointed, as this prevents 100% completion of the game. I kindly ask that you consider issuing a fix or workaround for this achievement, such as unlocking it automatically or adjusting the criteria so it can be completed another way. Battlefield Hardline still holds a place in many players' hearts, and addressing this issue would mean a lot to the community. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards
Hacked account: 365-day cooldown is punishing ME (Case #229886962)
v’m posting here because I’ve hit a dead end with support and I honestly don't know what else to do. The short version: My account was hacked. While the hacker had it, they linked their own Steam account to my EA account. I managed to get my EA account back and secure it, but now I’m stuck. Because the hacker linked their profile, EA’s system slapped a 365-day cooldown on linking a new Steam account. Now I can’t link my actual Steam account (where I play everything) because of a timer the hacker started. The support loop: I have been trying to fix this for over a month. I’ve contacted live chat multiple times. I have provided ownership receipts. I have transaction logs showing I’ve spent thousands of dollars on this account. I have proven the timeline of the hack. Every time I talk to an agent, they tell me they are "flagging it to the internal team" and that I should wait for an email. The email never comes. I’m stuck in an endless loop where I get escalated, ghosted, and then have to start all over again with a new agent who tells me the same thing. At this point, EA’s security policy is protecting the hacker’s changes rather than helping the verified owner. I’m locked out of content I paid a lot of money for because support refuses to manually override a cooldown caused by a security breach. Can a Community Manager please look at Case #229886962? I just need a human with actual permissions to review the evidence I've already uploaded and unlink the hacker's restriction so I can play my games. If you need more information i have everything documented.
Critical EAAC Anti-Cheat Vulnerability (China Region Exclusive)
There is a severe functional vulnerability in EAAC Anti-Cheat that affects all players in the China region: when launching any game using EAAC Anti-Cheat, a mandatory pop-up message appears stating "Anti-Cheat needs to be updated." However, even after manually downloading and reinstalling the latest version of EAAC, the issue persists. Through testing, the root cause has been confirmed: upon launching the game, the EAAC Anti-Cheat program automatically rolls back its own files to an older version, resulting in repeated update prompts and failure to access the game normally. Currently, the only temporary workaround is to disconnect from the internet during the EAAC Anti-Cheat startup loading phase to successfully enter the game. This vulnerability has impacted all games utilizing EAAC Anti-Cheat (such as the Battlefield series), severely disrupting the gaming experience. BF3 Battlelog Requiers EAapp thoe i have it..Pls help
Hello All.. So im trying to play Bf3 and have been doing so with no issues for long time .. But the other day when i try to play everytime i choose a server on battlelog no matter witch one as soon as i hit join server a msg pops up sayin i have to install EA app... Witch i already have installed .. There was a fix for this before were you go into program data and then electronic arts folder and delete the Licens files .. but that dosent work no more for some reason .. its allways allways somthing wrong with EA games allways no matter what game it is .. Is there a fix for this ?? i play Bf3 daily and now im blocked from playing it because of that annoying EA install app msg .. Pls help ..
Hello! I made a platoon, please join it and use the platoon tag [HAZE].
It's actually a repurposed platoon I made 2 years ago for a personal tag ([NPC] because sometimes I play like a bot), but now I want to have more members than just myself. MANTEL Corporation is a platoon based off the MANTEL Corporation from HAZE™ (2008), the best ever PS3 game. The scuffed emblem is a charming representation of the MANTEL logo (upon reflection what I've done looks a bit like the McDonald's golden arches, and the background of the battlelog page is pitch black so the rest of the emblem isn't visible lmao). I just made a Discord for it (10 discord members so far). I primarily play on PS4, and PS3 (we can talk more about that in DMs if you're curious, but to cut it short, yes BF3 on PS3 has been brought back online, no it isn't official, battlelog won't work on it either). It's not a sweaty platoon, it's just for fun. I don't care for tournaments on a game as old as BF4 or BFH. The guys in KSA that keep BFH barely on its legs on PS4 aren't the type of guys I'm interested in having join. I don't really want sweatlords, and I also don't want people who ignore teamplay completely (which does apply to complete noobs as much as it does to sweatlords). I'm sure the players in my discord already are completely fine with helping out complete noobs though, so I don't mind new (or clueless) players joining. Basically, if all you care about is kills and the most optimal ways to farm them, like a Call of Duty player, you'd be a lore accurate MANTEL trooper, but for this platoon, I don't think you'd fit. (Not sweaty is literally in the platoon description, but even if I don't think you'd fit, I can't stop you from applying). I care about playing the objective and supporting my team. I own Battlefield 4 on Steam. My Steam and EA accounts are linked. Battlefield 4 has never worked on my account. EA App always says “You don’t have access”. Support cases never work for me. Live Chat is never available in my region. This appears to be a stuck Steam → EA entitlement that requires a manual grant. Requesting escalation to a Community Manager or EA support staff who can refresh entitlements.
