Custom Playbooks Not Working
When creating a custom playbook, the "Coach Suggestions" section in-game always present the same pool of plays, regardless of your star ratings/selections in the "My Gameplan" section in the custom playbook menu. Obviously, spending lots of time on creating a custom playbook with unique ratings for the coach suggestions, and then for it not to work is quite frustrating. Let me know if I can provide any more details! I've tried raising and lowering the adjustments, even going as far as having several plays at "100" or "5 stars" and the same 15 plays appear for each situation (1st down, 2 & long, etc.).,College football 26 issues
I would like to start by saying I am very pissed at this game. I wanted it to be everything ea marketed it as but it’s just not. There were some quality of life improvements and some graphic improvements but that’s where the positives of this game stops. The gameplay is extremely buggy and feels extremely numb. The CPU difficulty is OP and broken to say the least. You can have the best roster playing against the worst team in the country and still loose because the cpu is just that good at knowing everything you are doing and knows perfectly how to stop it. Blocking, tackling, and playing any sort of defense is garbage. Great offensive lineman are getting beat by sub par defensive ends to get straight to the running back/quarterback on nearly every play which is just really unrealistic. Tackling and playing the pass is so numb it makes me want to quit playing the game. The short version is that ea’s frostbite gameplay engine they used in this game need to be thrown out and replaced with something that actually works. Content creators get flawless gameplay while normal people get a really crappy game. I have been playing this game for about 3 to 4 days now and it has left me pissed beyond belief. Currently I have been experiencing a lot of gameplay crashes where I will be trying to kick a field goal and as soon as I initiate the kick nothing happens except the whole team just starts attacking each other and bugs out to where I have to restart the game. All in all very very disappointed in the game and pissed that ea has taken about 10 steps backwards in a game that was supposed to be so much better than last year. EA please do better!
Can’t Invite Dynasty Members
The game is glitched with dynasty invites. I can only invite one at a time (have to go out of the dynasty and come back EACH time) and it won't let me input gamertags almost at all. I may be able to get an invite through that I manually input the gamertags after 10 attempts. Anyone else having this issue? Also getting the screen that they have not connected to the game, but I’ve played against them in CFb26 already. 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️Not letting me play
So on Xbox when cfb comes out for preorder those who don’t have it can do a 10 hour pre trial with ea play if they have it. So I pre ordered it and when I opened the game it told me about the trial. I said I wanted to play the full game but whenever I did that it always kicked me out of the server and kept bringing up the trial. It said I didn’t own it even tho I bought it and downloaded it. So I decided to just play the full trial and once I finished it kicked me out of the game and said I’m too early even tho I pre ordered it. When I opened the game it said play the full version or whatever and it just wouldn’t work. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and hopefully that works but if not then how do I fix this?Can't import Active Roster or TeamBuilder to Dynasty
This happened to me last year and it never was fixed. It's happening again in '26. I can't import active rosters to an online dynasty, or inport a TeamBuilder team to it. It just gives me an error that EA servers can't be reached. However, if I import active rosters to an offline dynasty it's almost instant. In addition to that, I can't use a TeamBuilder school for high school in road to glory. The status bar never fills and after several minutes it says server error. It's only every with an online dynasty or trying to import teambuilder teams. I've downloaded the teams, I can use them in Play Now, but that's literally it.CFB 26 RTG - Fix the Tape Score problem
Off to a rough start EA...RTG's tape score is god awfully bad and bugged. Showed 1000 point game and also moved up to four star. Once you go to next screen it shows below score of 4 stars. Points are not calculating properly but it is ruining the mode. Then again, I don't think anyone asked for this Tape Score crap. I imported by 2025 team, spent hours making some updates, saved, submitted, but every time I search for it/preview or download, I get this error. Every time I go to my sharings and try to download it, I get this error. This is very frustrating, and I just really, really hope the only solution isn't to completely rebuild this team from scratch. So i spent a couple hours doing my teambuilder team, it looks good on the site, but once imported into the game all my logos are very small and duplicated. This also happens to the field logos as well. Anyone else experience this or have a fix? Ive attached some pictures so you can see what im talking about. Fresh teambuilder 26 school, not imported from 25.
We just want a realistic timeline for crashing fix
Please give a realistic timeline for when the game crashing during every game is going to be fixed for console. Both Xbox and PS5 (tons of people) are reporting it. We know you’re gathering data. We want to know if a patch is coming today/tomorrow, etc. Everything worked fine until your first update. Just revert the patch. The game is literally 100% unplayable. Not unplayable from a “fun” point of view, but like it literally does NOT WORK at all. Please provide more detailed update on where we are in process.Constant Crashing on College Football 26 PS5
For the last 5 days, I can’t play a game during dynasty. It crashes when the game starts and anywhere in between the end of the game. This is really really frustrating and making me not want to play the game. I do enjoy the game but this needs to be fixed. I tried all the troubleshooting such as clearing the cache and restoring data and that still didn’t work. If anyone has any extra ideas, I’m all ears but this is a real pain to try to playRTG- Can’t regenerate health
i’m in my second season heading into the playoff and the game won’t allow me to spend any energy points on desperately needed health recovery. Tried starting game to “automatically apply points to health” but still started the game without any recovery applied. Currently heading into the semifinal looking like the glass bones guy from spongebob. I guess a tragic late season injury is part of my character arc?
Constant Crash Team Builder Dynasty
EA_Kent Constant crashing when using Team Builder in Dynasty mode. Offline Dynasty seems more stable so far, but I’ve only played a few games there. With Team Builder, it’s practically unplayable — it crashes almost every time I get a penalty. Occasionally it gets through, but 9 times out of 10 it crashes. I’ve tried all the suggested “fixes” and none of them work. They read like copy-pasted PR statements and don’t actually address the issue. This feels like a deeper code problem. What’s frustrating is the game plays like a slightly updated version of last year’s title, yet it’s somehow more broken. How is that even possible? Is this game even tested on real consoles with different firmware versions? Why not open beta testing earlier and to more players so you can actually catch these issues before launch? Better yet — and here's a wild idea — you had ten years (2014–2024!) to build a new football engine. Even on a skeleton crew and a shoestring budget, someone could’ve delivered a better, more stable, and more innovative game than this rushed mess. Team Builder was the main reason many of us bought this game. Right now, it’s borderline unplayable. Please fix it.
