Nostalgia Trip not unlocking
Hello, I have been trying to get this achievement for 2 days now, the first time I tried I was near end game, I rotated the statues, did the wisps then jumped off the balcony and didnt get the achievement, I reinstalled the game, verified game files, rebooted my pc, started a brand new playthrough where I rotated the statues as soon as I was in lighthouse, then did the wisps after I did necropolis, the achievement still won't unlock. Anyone have any advice for this? Really want to 100% this game..
Dragonage Veilgard crashes Xbox series X
Ive been playing through the dragonage veilgard game now for about 2 weeks. My Xbox constantly crashes and powers completely off. It doesn't do this on any other game I play. After scouring the web it seems this is a known issue but I couldn't find anything where EA or Bioware have acknowledged it. Has anyone heard or seen any updates on a fix? This game is fun but getting to be unplayable with the constant crashing.
No longer getting field banter with multiple party 'pairs' (XBOX)
So in my second Veilguard run on my XBSX, I've been trying to get more field banter than I did in the last one since it's all delightful, so periodically I'll grab a pair I don't use together as often and run through some reliable 'banter trigger' spots/ wait a while/ do another one/ etc etc. So a fair bit ago in my current run, I noticed that suddenly I couldn't get banter between Davrin and Harding to trigger anymore. I was pretty puzzled, since I was pretty sure they couldn't be 'out' of options at that point. I tried a few things- reloading, trying different banter spots, getting banter with different party members and trying them again, etc- but eventually gave up and kept going, hoping that eventually it would sort itself out (but as of where I am now- far enough in the game that I have a couple party members with Hero of the Veilguard status and more to come soon- I still can't get any banter from them). What's made this matter more urgent is now I've got another pair that suddenly isn't triggering banter either- Taash and Emmrich. It's bad enough I'm missing out on one 'pair' of banter, but two pairs? And Emmrich and Taash have great banter. (And again, they're not out of options! Hell, back with Davrin/Harding, even if I WAS out at that point, there's been enough major missions/companion stuff for both of them that new banter should have been added at some point since the issue started, but nope, still radio silence when I take them out) It's really killing my motivation to play any further. What if I lose still more pairs? Please tell me there's a way to sort this out.
Game Asking for Activation after quitting game
I just installed DAV through XBox Game Pass. Installation went fine, and I can play the game just fine for 3 hours before I quit the game. A few hours later, I run the game again through EA launcher and I keep getting this window instead. My EA launcher is online, I've tried filling the form and click "Sign In" and it's just redirect me to the open EA launcher. If I tried to click "Play" again, the same activation window opens up, and it's a repeat. I've clicked "Open Origin.com" which opened a new Edge tab/browser and even make sure I'm logged in in that session and NOT closing it (in case it matters) and then tried signing in again the activation window but it's the same thing. I've tried repairing the game installation through EA launcher, but it's still giving me activation window on "Play". Tried "App Recovery" feature of EA launcher, but DAV still giving me activation window. System: Windows 11, XBox PC Game Pass.Dragon Age: The Veilguard Annihilation in arlathan trophy bugged on ps5
So I was doing some trophies for my platinum on PS5 and the trophy named Annihilation in arlathan didn’t pop, I checked 2/3 times to see if I was doing everything correctly and I was. I did some research and tried a bunch of things but no success. I’m writting this to see if something can be made because I really like this game and want to do the platinum trophy
Soft locked - "Partners in a Dangerous Crime"
Completed much of this quest and reached a locked door after hideout in the market with the braziers. The cafe door is locked, preventing me from progressing further in this quest. Platform: Xbox Series S Game Version: 1.0.21.41573 I've tried to reload save, fast to another location, mix of both, all to no prevail. Below shows the issue. I'm pretty sure the above door is irrelevant, but here's a screenshot of that one too. Notice in the second one, the investigation radius triggered (see minimap). However, I can't get into the actual area.TCA Airbus Quadrant Conflict with Veilguard (PC – Game Pass via EA App)
Hello, On my PC, I play a variety of games including Veilguard and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I’ve connected both the Airbus Sidestick and the TCA Airbus Quadrant. However, when launching Veilguard, the camera continuously pans and the character moves in circles without input. After troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue is caused by the TCA Airbus Quadrant. Once I disconnect it from the computer, the problem disappears entirely. While unplugging the device every time I play Veilguard might seem like a workaround, it’s not a practical or sustainable solution. None of my other games—such as Expedition 33, Death Stranding, South of Midnight, Call of Duty, and many others—exhibit this behavior. This suggests the issue is specific to Veilguard and worth investigating further. Repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the TCA Quadrant could potentially cause physical damage to the device or the computer’s port, not to mention the inconvenience. Hi, I was exploring the area I currently have all of the npc party members I could have. I did all the red crystals and then decided to do all the remaining puzzles in the area before going and fighting whatever demon that was speaking to me. And now there's a blue barrier up but Neve nor any of my other characters can unlock it. I've looked at others gameplay and there's supposed to be a spot above the door to unlock it. And it's missing. Any advice?
Path Of Sighs - Collecting Bones
I have tried to complete this 1 part to get all the chests and I cannot interact with the coffin once I have collected all the bones. I have video to prove this but it won't let me place the bones once I have collected them all. I have gone back to the main menu, and restarted and closed the game and continued, And also uninstall the game and reinstall the game All 3 options won't allow me to complete this particular puzzle. PS5Appearance changed
When I started the game back up I was suddenly headless and then when I tried to fix it, like fast traveling my saved character became someone else, like I went from an elf to a quanari. It was in dock town and I saved at the spillway last night, I was doing the demon quest that's over there. I was lucky enough to just have to go back to a different auto save. I play on Xbox.
Bug - Quiver Appearance Not Changed When Applying a Bow Appearance via Wardrobe
Greetings The intent of this post is to bring to attention a rather jarring visual bug present in the game. Others have posted regarding this. I have attached links to their posts. Quiver appearance | EA Forums - 5022933 Quiver Appearance | EA Forums - 5024671 The visual appearance of arrow quivers does not change when applying a bow appearance via the wardrobe feature, often resulting in mis-matched armaments, e.g. an elven looking bow with an Antivan looking quiver. Due to this bug, quivers that belong to bows that only exist as appearances are never seen in game. The only cases where quiver appearances are correctly applied via the wardrobe and match their respective bow, are when using the "Bow of the Fallen Kingdom" from the Deluxe Edition, and the promotional "Watchful Bow". I hope this bug can be addressed. Cheers.
EA App not recognising content
I pre ordered the deluxe edition of dragon age veil guard and downloaded the weapons offer. When playing the game it is all locked as if it doesn’t appear to be registering the content. I have recently been gifted the deluxe edition on Steam and all of the content is unlocked and able to be used in the game therefore the issue must be an EA App issue rather than a game/ user issue. This has been going on for 8 months with no resolution, please can it be resolved so the content I paid for can be used.[PS5] Missing Save Data
Just loaded up my game and saw that several save files were missing, and my main save file regressed to a previous date. I was at level 47 and just finished my second-to-last “Hero of the Veilguard” mission. Now, my latest save file is for level 42 from four days ago and I only have only one “Hero of the Veilguard” complete in that file. That’s two or three story missions and five or so completed character side-arcs that have just vanished into thin air. Frankly, with the way this stuff works, I have zero hope or expectation of retrieving my files. I don’t know if I have the energy to push through all that again. It was a lot of progress. I’m seeing posts about similar issues from several months ago. Have there been any updates on this error/bug?Gameplay-Breaking Bug
There is a combat-breaking bug involving the lock-on mechanic that affects a number of popular abilities such as ice blast, rain of decay, meteor, corrupting ground and others (Seems to be linked to AOE abilities). If you use the lock-on mechanic on a target, switch to a new target, and then use one of the abilities previously mentioned, then instead of attacking your current target that you are locked onto, you will use the ability on the last target you switched from instead of your current target. Sometimes if your previous target has already died, then you will end up using your ability on the location where they died, but no current enemy is located, wasting mana and your cooldown. It has a great negative impact on combat and I wanted to know if it was possible for this to be patched?''The Dodgy Recruit'' Armor Appearance Consistently Missing from the Wardrobe.
Greetings. During the quest "Blood of Arlathan", Rook and the team wear disguises. Rook's disguise changes based on their class. At the end of the quest, the relevant disguise is supposed to be awarded to the player as an appearance to be applied in the wardrobe. The rogue variant of the disguise, called "The Dodgy Recruit", appears to be bugged and can't be applied. When completing "Blood of Arlathan", the game's UI displays the armor as a reward for completing the quest, however it is impossible to apply the armor appearance, as its icon is not present in the Wardrobe UI. This bug has existed for some time - possibly since the launch of the game - and is present for every new rogue character created. I have seen others post regarding this issue in this forum and others. I hope that the bug can be fixed. Thanks.
Playing on PS5 with DualSense Edge and R1 isn’t working
I went to check controller mapping and R1 doesn’t work in the menu systems and it won’t even allow me to assign it to another command. I’m stuck in the game because I cannot open the menu to do tinkering. I have closed the game and reopened it and my PS5 and the DualSense Edge controller are up to date on firmware.
